I can accept Amy being an ass to Ganger Doctor (Amy is kind of an ass. I say this with affection) BUT I think someone needs to remind her about when her husband was plastic.

Alternative Dream Part One
Fandom: Doctor Who
Summary: Doctor Who AU where the Doctor as a war Doctor use the moment and managed to defeat the Daleks without destroying Gallifrey. He is seen as a war hero and is given new regeneration as reward. He was given a place in the government. He was never able to travel again so he never met Rose Tyler or any of his companion. He remained on Gallifrey and has regenerated into a version of Thirteenth Doctor where she continue to work for glory of Gallifrey. Until she met you, a time sensitive she was assigned to capture at any cost.
 Pairing: Thirteenth Doctor x Reader, Yaz x Reader and Jack Harkness x Reader
 Warning: angst, mention of use of violence, forced relationship, ooc.
 A/N: I’m bullshitting my way with this particular fanfiction. So Pardon the mess.
 PART TWO is here
Time sensitive.
 I hated that word.
 Time sensitive is a being that is able to see both past and future timeline. Sometimes, if the Time sensitive person is of strong line, he or she would be able to see alternate timelines. Time sensitive person were deemed too fragile and dangerous to be left on their own. Most time sensitive are human and they are not meant to see time like that. Not many can cope with seeing through the fabric of time and most of the time, they went insane or burn out from the outside and inside. It will be a painful death.
 My name is (name) and I am a time sensitive. Unfortunately.
 Because of my nature, my family is hunted by a race called the Time Lord. They have a very firm law regarding a time sensitive person, they are to be taken to their home planet, Gallifrey, where the person will be chosen as a bride for some pompous Time Lord. Once they are bonded, the time sensitive person will have a stable mind and their power will be attune more to those of the past and the future of his or her bonded Time Lord.
Most of time sensitive have no choice and are forced to bond with a Time Lord, willing or not. I will not have that as my fate. So I ran, as far away as possible. I'm one of the oldest of age for someone who is a time sensitive. Most younger time sensitive are unable to hid very well and thus was taken to Gallifrey.
 Time sensitive is originally supposed to be rare and yet these past years there are lot of people born with the time sensitive potential. I heard rumor it was because something that originated from Gallifrey. They said time sensitivity is a virus that plaque the human and the forced bond is some kind a cover up by the Time Lord. No one know for sure. The Time Lord are not very forthcoming about it. They never saw the human as equal in the first place, it's beneath them to even be with human, and yet they forced a bond with time sensitive person. They never treated time sensitive well, just another pawn for their own gain.
 The Time Lord decided to take over the Earth so they can keep track and control all born time sensitive. Of course, the people of Earth refused and fought but it was useless. The Time Lord is superior compare to us, human.
 I have motivation to continue evade those pompous time jackass. The Time Lord who found me is a bastard that didn't even respect me and only saw me as a means to an end. He caused the death of my parents. I was able to trick him and trap him inside a prison he prepared for me and I escaped his rage. I never saw him again. I hope he never able to escape that cage, it would serve him right to spend the rest of his immortal life imprisoned.
 I have been joining a human resistance against the Time Lord on some corner of the Earth. With my time sensitivity, I become useful in the resistance to evade those time jackass. Though lately, I have been feeling sickly every time I peek on the fabric of time. I knew I was running out of time. I have to bond with a Time Lord (over my dead body) or really dies. I choose to die but I will use my time sensitivity as long as I can to help the resistance.
 &&&&
 On the Gallifrey, the Time Lord officials are having a meeting regarding the resistance.
 "They have a time sensitive on their side. That's the only possible way they could ever hope to evade us."
 "Have we locate this time sensitive traitor?"
 "They have hidden him or her very well. We think the time sensitive has got a bio damper to hide their signature."
 "How is that even possible? Find him or her immediately!"
 "This particular time sensitive person seemed stronger than most. He or she will be valuable."
 "If they help the human, it's unlikely they will pledge loyalty to us. Too dangerous. I voted we find them and execute them as a warning to those against us."
 "What a waste. We could force a bond and they would have no choice but to serve whoever Time Lord they are bonded to."
 "They have been out there for too long. Their mind is probably unstable. It would only be a matter of time before they dies. But considering how they have been using their power, they are too dangerous to be left alive. I voted we kill them on sight."
 The Doctor never like these meeting and despite being a celebrated war hero, no one seemed to want her opinion. She never approved of the Time Lords' decision to take over the Earth or the forcing of bond for those poor time sensitive people. But she also knew they have no choice but to bond with time sensitive or they will die. She hated that the Time Lords are forcing a bond, not because they care for the human, but because they want to exploit their power.
 The Doctor raised her hand much to annoyance of the other. "I voted we capture them alive and then we will monitor their state of mind before we do anything harsh."
 "Noted, Doctor." But it was clear to the Doctor, they didn't care. "So who will go to earth and find them?"
 "I volunteer." The Doctor said as she raised her hand again eagerly.
 &&&&
 The Doctor stroke her Tardis longingly. "It's been a while, old girl. Let's have an adventure together, eh?" she said. "We have to help the human and the poor time sensitive person on their side. Do you have any idea where they are?"
 The Tardis hummed gently inside the Doctor's mind and she grinned. "Then, shall we go?"
 &&&&
 I woke up in sweat. My eyes widened.
 Yaz rushed toward me. "Are you okay, (name)? What is it?"
 "Someone is coming...someone dangerous..."
 Yaz looked worried. "Do you know when?"
 I furrowed my eyebrows. "Don't know. I can't see it clearly."
 "It's getting worst, isn't it, for you, I mean, to see the future?" Yaz asked sadly.
 "I'm fine, Yaz. Just needed more rest and I will be good as new." I lied.
 She didn't believe me of course but she didn't argue. She knew better. Everyone knew I have an expired date.
 &&&&
 "Who the hell are you? You are trespassing here!"
 The Doctor raised both hands in surrender. "I'm human, like you, I come in peace. I'm just looking for asylum here."
 Jack stared at him in suspicion. "Scan her!" he ordered his soldiers.
 The Doctor remained calm as a soldier approached her with a scanning machine to determine her species.
 "Confirmed, human." the soldier replied.
 The Doctor hummed. She is glad that her hunch is correct that the human has got their hands on the species scanner machine. The Doctor has put an upgraded bio damper on herself. "See? My name is Jane Smith. Now, may I get some rest? Been walking around for long and I'm tired."
 Jack narrowed his eyes at the Doctor. "Fine. Let her get back to the bunker to see Martha. Tell her to keep an eyes on her."
 The Doctor sighed in relief. She is in. Now she has to figure out which one of the human is the time sensitive.
 &&&&
 The Doctor got along well with Martha. Martha is a doctor who is in charge to keep everyone in good fit. She has checked the Doctor and cleared her.
 Martha introduced her to Donna who is in charge of assigning new people to their quarter and duty.
 The Doctor stared at Donna's ginger hair longingly. "I never get to be ginger..." she murmured.
 Donna is loud and a bit intimidating, the Doctor found, but she likes her enough.
 Strange, how most of the people here in resistance are likeable to the Doctor, even though some of them, are soldier like Rose, Amy and Clara. For some reason, the Doctor felt like she knew them like they were old friends. But that's not possible as she never seen them before.
 It was dinner time and everyone, in the bunker, have dinner together. Despite their situation, they are having a good laugh with each other. The Doctor admired them. She watched Rose and Clara having a laugh together at Jack's expense. Martha is seated with her boyfriend, Mickey, whispering at each other. Amy is with a soldier called Rory whom the Doctor learned is also her husband. A woman named Bill and Heather are distributing food for everyone. Everyone is having a good time.
 The Doctor's eyes widened when she saw her former companion, Sarah Jane Smith. She was on the other side of the room, talking with Donna. She had no idea that Sarah Jane is part of the resistance. She smiled fondly. Of course, Sarah Jane will be a defender of the earth.
 The Doctor took a seat with Rose and her friends.
 "Hey, new girl, Jane, right?" Rose asked with a friendly smile.
 Clara grinned as she look her up and down in appreciation which make the Doctor blushed red. "Looking good, Jane..."
 "Down, girl." Rose said with a grin.
 They soon involved with a friendly conversation with each other.
 "So, how do you lot meet each other?" the Doctor asked curiously.
 "Well, we all have our reason to join resistance... Mine is because of our daughter..." Amy said with a sad smile. "But we are actually recruited by..."
 Rose suddenly shushed her. "No one is to mention him, remember?"
 "Ah, right, he-who-shall-not-be-named."
 "He's not Voldemort, Amy."
 Everyone laughed at the running joke between them.
 The Doctor observed everyone's interaction and realized that they must have been recruited by the time sensitive. But why? What makes them so special? Also now she knew the time sensitive is a man. She will have to look around for a male fit the description of a time sensitive.
 &&&&
 "You need to eat, (name)." Yaz tried to persuade me to have dinner.
 "Not hungry..." I said softly as I laid on my bed and stared at the ceiling.
 Jack entered the room without knocking. The former time agent always annoyed me since I always reprimanded him about his manner. "Hey, how is my Voldemort doing today?"
 I scoffed at the nickname. "Shouldn't I be the boy who lives?"
 "Nah, too heroic." Jack said with a grin.
 It was a secret within our circle that the time sensitive is actually me and that I am a female. It was Clara's idea to throw the Time Lord off my scent. That's why they spread a rumour that the time sensitive is actually male just in case there are mole within the resistance. It annoyed me that the team I put out nicknamed me Voldemort or he-who-shall-not-be-named.
 "Did you see anymore about our hostile visitor?" Jack asked. He is worried after Yaz told him about my vision.
 I shook my head. "Nope. But whoever it is coming and we have to be on alert."
 "There a few new people coming in to join us. I already scanned them and they passed all the tests." Jack said.
 I hummed. "Don't forget the Time Lord is a smarter race than us. They have plenty time to upgrade everything in their disposal. Ours are a bit outdated."
 "Haven't you see anything that could help in that regard?"
 "Think the Time Lords are on me and my tricks. I think they put precaution to put shadow around Gallifrey. Can't see them clearly."
 "Well that is a bummer."
 "Jack!" Yaz glared at him.
 "Sorry, (name), you did good work." Jack said with a sad smile.
 "I hate that I can't be much help." I said. "I have to prepare Melody for when the time come for me to die..."
 Melody is the seven years old daughter of Amy and Rory and she is a time sensitive like me. I have been training her to hide herself from the prying us of other time sensitives and the time lords. She is the whole reason I recruited the parents. She will be my replacement in the future.
 But that's not the only reason, I knew her parents are a potential defenders of earth. I saw it in my vision. most people I recruited personally are because of my vision. I knew that in another timeline they were defenders of earth alongside someone called the storm? I never find out about the storm person and I never told any of them about him. At least I think it's a him.
 Jack and Yaz winced every time I mentioned about my being dying. They hated how helpless they are regarding my situation. It is not like they could get their hand on a decent time lord to bond with me. I told them plenty of time there are not one decent time lord in existence.
 Sarah Jane disagreed though. She mentioned a man called the Doctor who always defended the earth. But she think that man has died because otherwise she believed that the Doctor would join our cause. I never believe her. I didn't recruit her but I sense she is a good person as she joined the resistance on her own free will.
 &&&&
 The Doctor has been with the resistance for a week now and hasn't gotten any closer in figuring which male is the time sensitive. The said time sensitive indeed have been using a bio damper to hide his signature. The Doctor is worried the other Time Lords will be impatient and will declare wars on earth to force the time sensitive out.
 The Doctor suspected a soft-spoken Ryan, who is not a soldier, is the time sensitive but she hasn't got any proof. Ryan is always with Graham, his grandfather, working on fixing damaged machinery within the bunker.
 She hasn't formally talk to Sarah Jane either. She is unsure whether she should revealed her identity to her former companion. She is unsure that Sarah Jane would help her in tracking down the time sensitive.
 She noticed a young woman sitting on library all by her lonesome.
 "Hello there, I'm Jane, who are you? Never seen you before and I have been in the bunker for a week." the Doctor asked.
 &&&&
 I was minding my own business, drawing a doodle on my sketch book, when a young woman approached me. I glanced at her. One of the new people Jack mentioned then. I ponder whether I should talk to her or be rude so she left me alone. I closed down my sketch book and said, "I have been ill so I haven't gotten out of my room. Doctor's order."
 Without invitation, Jane took a seat beside me. I tried to push down my annoyance. "You shouldn't sit with me. I'm still ill. Wouldn't want to get you ill too..." I said, hoping to scare her away.
 Jane didn't look bothered. "I'm not worried. I'm always healthy all my life. My mother said that germs are afraid of me." she said as she moved closer to me.
 "Look, Jane, do you mind? I would rather be alone." I said rudely.
 "You haven't tell me your name yet..."
 "Why? Do you already know the name of everyone in the bunker?!" I asked angrily.
 "Well, I meet with everyone already, I think, except those who are on mission." she said. "As for their name, sure, I do, I'm good with names, you see..." Then she started rattle on some name that I recognized and some that I didn't.
 "Alright, I get it, It's (name), okay?" I said in annoyance and a bit impressed.
 "See, that wasn't so hard, was it? Let's be friend, shall we?"
 "I don't do friend." I said immediately.
 "How can you do not do friend? That's impossible!"
 Jane's behaviour started to annoy me so much.
 At the times, Yaz entered the library. When she saw me and Jane, she schooled her expression in a firm manner. "(Name), are you ditching your duty again?" she asked. She was saving me from having to interact with Jane. She knew how much I hated interaction.
 "And who are you?" Jane asked with a tone that almost flirty which make Yaz blushed, which amused me. "Never see you either before. Hello there."
 "I'm Yaz." she introduced herself. "You are Jane, right? Everyone talk about you. You are really famous with the children."
 "I try..." Jane said with a grin.
 "Sorry, Jane, we got to go to, duty call." I said as I grabbed Yaz away from her.
 "Can I go with...?"
 Before she could finish, I pulled Yaz quickly and out of the way.
 "That was mean, (name)." Yaz said as she saw Jane has this sort of kicked puppy look on her face.
 "She is too cheerful, I hated it." I said.
 Yaz sighed.
 &&&&
 The Doctor meet Melody and she realized almost immediately that she is a time sensitive. So there are more than one time sensitive within the resistance, the Doctor concluded. She realized someone has been training little Melody to utilize her power. But Melody is still a child and she slipped out which caused the Doctor to catch on her signature.
 She remembered what Amy said about her reason to join the resistance is for her daughter's sake. The Doctor felt sadness for the whole affair. She wishes she could fix the time sensitive problem. But she is helpless. The Doctor really fond of little Melody for some reason. She had no idea why.
 She has to report to Gallifrey soon and she is unsure whether she should inform them about little Melody. Melody would be safer in Gallifrey. But the Doctor know it is not quite true. She shuddered at the thought someone might try to claim Melody too early. Also if she informed about Melody, she will be ripped away from her parents and that's something the Doctor can't accept. She loves Amy and Rory, they are now her friends. She had managed to make friends here and she knew she would have to betray them eventually.

The Big Moffat Rewrite: Series 7
Following on from my Series 5 and my Series 6 rewrites
XMAS SPECIAL The Snowmen
The Bells of Saint John
The Rings of Akhaten
Cold War
A Town Called Mercy
The Slow Invasion
Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS
Asylum of the Cybermen
Nightmare in Silver
Dinosaurs on a Spaceship
Hide
Supremacy of the Daleks
Extermination of the Daleks
The Name of the Doctor
The Snowmen
·         11 is still a recluse in Victorian London, but because in my Series 6 he left the Ponds instead of losing them, it’s because he’s convinced he’ll screw up if he travels again. After wiping himself from history he’s lying low, not helping because he’s convinced he’ll make things worse
·         (also he’s totally wallowing in self-pity because of his self-imposed exile from the Ponds)
·         Clara re-convinces him he can make positive change, drags him out of his self-absorption, shows him something new
 CLARA’s CHARACTER
·         Clara gets all of series 7. Moffat originally wanted The Time of the Doctor to be a whole series, so we can fit some of that stuff about the Silence and Trenzalore in here.
·         GIVE CLARA A FUCKING ARC – the Doctor takes an ordinary girl who he thinks is special, and accidentally makes her special
·         Most people seem to prefer Victorian! Clara to her in S7B anyway, so she becomes that flirty, authoritative character by the finale
·         The pieces were already there – her being scared in Cold War compared to her taking charge in Nightmare in Silver, but make it explicit – the Doctor realises he is changing Clara and turning her into the person he met in Victorian London and the Cyberman Asylum
·         This sets up her arcs and relationship with 12 – he brings out the liar in her, forces her to become cold and calculating. This is now already happening with 11
The Rings of Akhaten
·         Introduce Trisha Lem, the head of the Church of the Silence, here. The best part of this episode is The Speech, but we could easily say that the Silence is presiding over the Long Song ceremony to appease the Old God, taking the place of those creatures hunting the little girl.
·         (I imagine the Church pre-Trenzalore as a kind of Shadow Proclamation for religion - presiding over and safeguarding the religious traditions of species across the universe)
·         This way Trisha and the Silence’s role as confessionals doesn’t come out of nowhere in The Time of the Doctor
·         11 and Trisha’s relationship being so flirty confuses me - as the head of the Church, 11 must associate her with all the pain the Silence caused River and the Ponds. Instead, he acts really flirty but Clara notices he’s faking it – a reflection of their own relationship?
·         Trisha doesn’t understand why 11 is being elusive.
A Town Called Mercy
·         Use this story’s framework – a Western where 11 is forced to protect war criminal – and insert River
·         Partly bc River and Clara interacting seems super interesting
·         River is angry at 11 for ‘replacing’ the Ponds. I also think she’d be competitive with Clara? As she’s scattered all over the Doctor’s timestream, Clara is the only person who really could compete with her
·         As an archaeologist expert on the Doctor River knows about Clara, but can’t tell 11 exactly what she is
·         Also 11 agreeing with River’s more violent methodology is really interesting and shows how they can feed into each other’s dark sides – think River’s line from The Angels Take Manhattan – “One psychopath per TARDIS, don’t you think?”
The Slow Invasion
·         A version of The Power of Three told from the perspective of the Alice character who replaced Craig in S5/6. 11 pops in and out of her life with different versions of Clara
·         It’s revealed that 11 has tried to travel with different versions of Clara before, tracking her down all across the universe, but she always, always dies. Our Clara doesn’t know.
·         Alice is deeply critical of what 11 is doing. She acts almost as his therapist; he comes over for tea and talks to her about what’s going on.
·         Instead of the cubes being alien exterminators, this is a plot buy the Great Intelligence (series 7′s big bad) inspired by the Skith from DWM comic The First and Superman villain Brainiac – i.e. the Intelligence is collecting all information it can about a thing, and then destroys it to stop that knowledge becoming commonplace and therefore losing its value. Specifically, the Intelligence is also investigating Clara (because she keeps appearing across its timeline). The Intelligence’s fascination is a dark parallel to 11’s
·         Alice asks 11 what happened to the Ponds, and he reveals they still think he’s dead. Alice tells 11 to go see them (the ending scenes of The Doctor, the Widow and The Wardrobe). She also tells him to start treating Clara like a real person, not a human question mark
·         11 takes Clara to meet them. River is also there, having dinner. The episode closes with them reconnecting
Pond Life
·         After The Slow Invasion launch this minisode series about life post-11, with River barging in instead of the Doctor
Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS
·         Tie the TARDIS disliking Clara into the series arc – it’s because the TARDIS knows Clara is an anomaly scattered through the Doctor’s timestream. Have a scene in Journey To the Centre of the TARDIS where 11 argues with the TARDIS about it – “Do you know what she is? You do, don’t you? I miss the time when you could talk and just tell me.”
·         The TARDIS went to the end of the universe to throw Jack Harkness off, and 11 abandoned Future!Amy in The Girl Who Waited because the TARDIS hates paradoxes – this is the same kind of thing, just make it clear by the finale (Clara even jumps into the time stream INSIDE the TARDIS)
·         Clara remembers the events of the episode so she can be be active in the investigation of who she is, (also fixing how the episode undoes the three brothers’ arcs, but still insists they grew as people at the end)
          This represents 11 opening up to her and trusting her more
Asylum of the Daleks (retitled Asylum of the Cybermen)
         Roll Nightmare in Silver and Asylum into a 2-parter, because the best part of Nightmare is Mister Clever. Both episodes even have the same ‘someone’s about to destroy the planet’ ticking time bomb.
         The army fighting the Cybermen kidnap 11 to get him to destroy the Asylum with a bunch of expendable grunts they can afford to lose to a suicide mission.·         Clara meeting/interacting with another version of herself is really interesting, so we keep converted Oswin saving them·
         Changing it to Asylum of the Cybermen makes more sense thematically
        All those people, including Oswin, being converted – the Asylum’s security system is its conversion machinery – attackers become part of the security system. Instead of a nano-cloud, use the tiny upgraded Cybermats·
         It would also be scarier (a haunted hospital a la World Enough and Time- botched cybermen > insane Daleks) and would add an interesting layer to Cyberman lore instead of making the Daleks look weak. It can also use old models to explain the Cybermen’s multiple backstories, touched on in The Doctor Falls (”everywhere there’s people, there’s cybermen,” 12 says)·
         The ‘subtracting love’ thing makes more sense with cybermen too – instead of Amy and Rory, focus on Clara holding onto her connection with 11 – emphasising their genuine, emotion-based bond over ‘flirty quirky plot device’·
         This renewed focus on the Cybermen is good because the last full-on Cyberman story was in Series 2 (in The Next Doctor they’re just kind of in the background), and Moffat is much better at writing the body-horror of the Cybermen than he is writing the Daleks.
Nightmare in Silver
·         11 deliberately lets himself be ‘infected’ by the asylum’s nanocloud and begins conversion in attempt to save the converted Oswin’s mind.
·         Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the origin of Handles, the Cyberman head from The Time of The Doctor: the remains of Oswin’s cyber-converted mind downloaded into a head.
·         11 uses Mr Clever to get information about her - i.e. that she just appeared one day as a fully-formed person without any family. This sets up the other Claras being time remnants.
·         It also lets Mr Clever play more psychological games with 11 and Clara – Mr Clever reveals 11 is scared of Clara, putting more strain on Clara having to hold on to her emotional attatchments
·         The Cybermen are actively trying to get out. This way we dig into their primary drive – survival at all costs,
·         What happens when a Cyberman’s emotional inhibitor is broken, but they don’t die? Driven insane and desperate, and fiercely intelligent.
·         I like the idea of the Cybermen like the Xenomorph in Alien; blending in with thoier broken down, mechanical environment, plugging into it and using to separate and play games with the soldiers.
Dinosaurs on a Spaceship
·         Replace The Crimson Horror with a version of Dinosaurs on a Spaceship with the Paternoster Gang replacing Brian, the Ponds, Nefertiti and that hunter bloke
·         I just really need to see Vastra interacting with her culture OK? Seeing her be taken back to her childhood, opening up to Jenny about it. Her anger, realising what the villain Solomon has done to her people. Use this conflict to call back to and explain how she met the Doctor, how he stopped her slaughtering humans before.
·         Clara and 11 go to the Paternoster Gang for help investigating her other selves
·         Clara researches and finds her past selves, not only in Victorian London but also throughout the 60s and 70s, when she’s helping the past Doctors – finding this research is how the kids find out she’s a time traveller
·         This is how THE DOCTOR REALISES HE’S SEEN HER MANY TIMES BEFORE, setting up The Name of the Doctor’s out-of-nowhere, un-guessable resolution.
·         Dark!11 again. Matt saoid they would’ve explored a ‘meaneer’ version if he’d stayed on for series 8. Clara is the perfect way to bring that out as they lie and manipulate each other for their own ends.
DALEK CIVIL WAR STORY
·         Progenitor Daleks vs the regular Time War model. Display how the Progenitor Daleks are different - each of them having a different weapon/role etc. The crux of the story is that the Progenitor Daleks are better at fighting the Doctor and come close to killing him, but the other Daleks value their ‘purity’ and survival more
·         Maximum Dark!11
The Name of the Doctor
·         When 11 rescues Clara she is changed – she retains bits and pieces of her time remnants’ experiences, it’s at once traumatising and exhilarating
The Time of the Doctor
·         Whereas The End of Time felt stretched-out (135 minutes) this felt really rushed. Make it 2 parts.
·         We see the set-up of Trenzalore and the Church of Silence in the first.
·         The second part is the long siege of Trenzalore – we need to see 11 age fighting these monsters, taking his turn being left behind, the tragedy of him slowly losing his memory, focusing on his character
·         We can also flesh out the citizens of Trenzalore and Christmas so their safety is important to us
·         Let’s see Madame Kovarian and her splinter cell break off from the main Church of Silence and leave to try and kill the Doctor – make her a supporting character
·         Then have Trisha Lem explicitly talk to the Doctor about how Kovarian blowing up the TARDIS caused the cracks in the universe in the first place, allowing the Time Lords to get their message out. Instead of a montage, have this be the moment that unites the Doctor and the Silence – they are both fighting to make up for their mistakes and the problems they caused
·         We see the many races surrounding Trenzalore form the alliance from The Pandorica Opens

The Wedding of River Song (Doctor Who S06E13)
Tumblr media
Today Jon is forced to watch and recap “The Wedding of River Song”, the thirteenth and final episode of Doctor Who’s sixth series, as well as its prequel. The time has come for the Doctor to die, allegedly, but will he accept his fate?
Keep reading to find out…
Eli, you nailed it yet again with your latest recap! I agree that John Quinn was a really likable character, and it was nice to see Blanche be confronted with the idea that she has more to offer than just her bangin’ bod. This is the next in the series of episodes that all feature basically the same plot of Blanche being attracted to a man, finding a reason not to be attracted to him (coming from different backgrounds, a disability, etc.), deciding she’s attracted to him anyway and going after him only to not get him in the end. First it was Jake from VIP Catering in “Diamond in the Rough”, and now it’s John Quinn, and there are at least two others I can think of over the next few seasons. I’ll point them out when we get to them, but I’ll be curious to see if you notice the repetition on your own. Your next episode (“The Impotence of Being Ernest”) is one that’s a lot of fun, and I hope you enjoy it.
For now, though, I’m late as usual and it’s time to get on with the show!
Buttocks tight!
Prequel directed by Jeremy Webb and written by Steven Moffat
As that creepy nursery rhyme plays in the background we’re shown a clock counting down about five hours. Some guards look at some tanks, inside of which some Silence can be seen. Inside of some sort of Egyptian-esque tomb, we see River Song with an eyepatch like the one Madame Kovarian has been known to sport.
Tumblr media
Episode directed by Jeremy Webb and written by Steven Moffat
We start out in a very fever dream-esque London in 2011. Steam engines are everywhere, cars tied to balloons fill the sky, dinosaurs are flying around and Winston Churchill is the Holy Roman Emperor. Churchill notices that the time is always 5:02 PM and the date is always April 22nd. His doctor, a Silurian, says that’s the way it’s always been and there’s nothing odd about it. He calls for his personal soothsayer, who, spoiler alert, is the Doctor, and asks him what’s going on. All of time is happening at once, but Churchill wants to know why. The Doctor says this is all because of a dame.
After the credits, the Doctor talks to a damaged Dalek. He opens the Dalek up and steals some information on the Silence from the Dalek’s datacore. The Doc then seeks out a man who was the former envoy to the Silence, but it turns out the guy has been dead for a while and this is actually another Voltron powered by Borrowers. The Doc wants information on the Silence from the Borrowers. Later on the Doc is playing a chess game with the weakest link in the chain of the Silence. The weakest link takes the Doc to the de-bodied head of our old friend, Blueby the Butterball. Butterball can still talk despite not having a body or diaphragm.
Back in London, Churchill isn’t taking the Doctor’s story about blue aliens and all that well. He agrees to hear the rest of the Doc’s story, though, and we pick up where we left off. Butterball says the Silence think the Doctor’s future is too dangerous to let him reach it. He’s the one who will find the question that the Silence don’t want asked. Butterball knows the question and tells the Doc what it is, but we don’t get to know because drama. Back in London, Churchill wants to know what the question is, too. The Doctor explains that the best way to keep a secret is to kill the only person who knows the secret. Everyone’s always talking about silence falling, but the Doc realizes that after he’s dead silence will fall because he won’t be around to ask or answer the question. The Doctor notices a mark on his arm and realizes he’s seen and forgotten a Silent recently.
Back in the story, the Doctor is resolved to run away from his fate in Utah, but then he calls to meet up with an old friend and learns he’s recently died. Forced to confront the idea that time catches up with everyone and everyone has a time to die. The Doc sends out the invitations to Amy, Rory, River and Delaware and sets the stage for what we saw in the first episode of this arc. Back with Winston, the Doc’s now made three marks on his arm instead of just one. Back in the story, River arrives in her spacesuit and reveals herself to the Doctor. The suit is in control, and she can’t stop it. The Doc assures her this was always going to happen and that River won’t remember doing any of this. He tells her he forgives her, and she shoots him.
Or, well, no she doesn’t. She drains the suit’s weapons systems, preventing the Doctor’s death and disrupting a fixed point in time. This locked time into 5:02, causing time to start to die and for everything to have happened at once. Back with Churchill, Winston’s fired his gun without realizing it and the Doc’s got a spear. They’re defending themselves from something, but Churchill doesn’t know what. The Doc explains about the Silence being memory-proof, and his arms are now covered in marks showing a whole lot of them are nearby. They’re above, actually, with a whole cluster of the slender fellas lining the ceiling. Someone throws a bomb into the room and a bunch of soldiers, led by an eyepatch-wearing Amelia Pond, arrive. She shoots the Doc and knocks him out. Amy knows what’s up, though, and she’s part of a team of people who know time’s gone wrong. She knows Rory exists and that she loves him, but she doesn’t know where he is.
Turns out Rory is one of the soldiers Amy is commanding, but she doesn’t recognize him. Also turns out that the eyepatches everyone is so found of aren’t eyepatches, they’re eye-drives that connect to the wearer’s memories and allow them to remember the Silence. Amy and the Doctor arrive at a pyramid where Amy’s people are holding captured Silence. Deeper into the pyramid, the Doc meets River and a captured Kovarian. The Doc makes a grab for River and when they touch time begins moving again, making it 5:03. They’re suddenly back at the lake in Utah and River’s about to shoot, but it doesn’t last and we’re back in the alternate timeline. The Silence begin to break out of their confinements and begin taking out soldiers. Rory makes it back in time, the eye-drives everyone is wearing are based on Madame Kovarian’s tech and they’ve been boobytrapped by the Silence. Everyone is susceptible to death or debilitating pain, including Kovarian. Rory volunteers to stay behind to fight the Silence while Amy, River and the Doctor move deeper into the pyramid, but Amy doubles back in time to save Rory. Amy chooses to leave Kovarian to die to punish her for taking Melody from her.
River reveals that she’s built a beacon on top of the pyramid. Outside of the time bubble surrounding Earth time is still going, so River’s been sending out a message to the past and future calling for help to avoid the Doctor’s death. Thousands and thousands of people touched by the Doctor have come to answer the call, but the Doc insists he has to die. The Doc decides it’s time for a wedding, so he and River have an impromptu wedding and he even whispers his real name to her. He asks her to help set things to right with time and she agrees. The two smooch, and the Doctor dies by the lake in Utah. The alternate timeline fades away and the original one takes its place. River is sent to prison, but she makes a trip to visit her mom. From River’s perspective she just finished up the Weeping Angels mission from a while back, and Amy lets her know the Doc just died. Amy’s struggling with having killed Kovarian, and she wants to talk to the Doctor about it but she can’t. River spills some tea, and lets Amy know he didn’t really whisper his name to River when they got married. River lets her know what he really whispered, but we don’t get to know because drama.
Actually, we do get to know this one! Butterball’s head is returned to its crypt by someone he recognizes as the Doctor. Turns out that for the bulk of this episode we’ve been following a Voltron version of the Doc piloted by the Borrowers. He whispered to River to look into his eyes at the wedding, where she saw a shrunken Doctor and TARDIS safely inside. He survived the Voltron getting shot and burned and made his exit once everyone had left. Butterball points out that we still have to wrap up this first question nonsense. The first question is revealed: Doctor who?
Oh boy.
The End
~~~~~
Well, another series has come and gone! I thought the Borrowers were well-used here, and it makes me dislike their random usage in “Let’s Kill Hitler” less. I thought the plot here was pretty intricate and engaging, and there were a lot of fun callbacks. It doesn’t feel like they cheated their way out of the whole Doctor dying thing without doing some work, and I appreciate that. The Doctor who? thing, though? Come on.
I give “The Wedding of River Song” QQQ½ on the Five Q Scale.
Check back in on Tuesday when Eli will get desperate with the next episode of The Golden Girls, “The Impotence of Being Ernest”, and on Wednesday I’ll deliver my recap of the next Doctor Who Christmas Special, “The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe”.
Until then, thanks for reading, thanks for marrying and thanks for being One of Us!
Secrets Beetween Dimensions
Chapter 12: A domestic autopsy
Castiel- At the insistence of the old lady, I went out to breath outside and anyway Hamish had locked me out of the house, I sighed, I was coming back from a walk in a park when I noticed a movement in the house and soon I noticed that the door was still locked , now there was salt in the door handles .... even feeling suspicious I rang the bell and was soon attended with a gun aimed at me
Dean - after taking Pale Dace up there with the help of Dad and Sammy, I went back down and saw that everyone was talking so I went to Mrs. Hudson and I started to talk to her. She was smart, very strong and that was visible. Dad delivered the mission to take care of her to Cas, but I think it was the other way around. We were just talking about how the pale guy had already made her throw up talking about anatomy until the doorbell rang. Belle had put salt in the corners of the house with the unwilling help of Emily, and Hammy (after what Mrs. Hudson told me he earned me my respect) so it should not be a monster right? I took my gun and went to the door to open it - Cas? - my voice left a little thin and shaky I dropped the gun without seeing and hugged him so strong that I thanked God that angels don’t die with hugs. I smiled feeling my eyes watering and then I punched him
Dean-you could had text me your .... idiot! - I sighed seeing him become sad and hugged him again - it's okay to be an idiot.
John-was hugged with Mary when I heard the buzz of the doorbell I moved away from her and I watched the door until I felt a breath
Sherlock-Does that remind you of something? "I smiled at him.
John- (I got scared) Since when are you awake?
Sherlock- (smile) I never really fainted, I just fainted to see if you were not inventing anything so I let me be carried around, but actually I heard everything and saw everything ... it seems like it's all true, I was thinking of looking later Your mother-in-law to study about ... John? John? John?
John-so did he fake all this time? That idiot, stuck, rational ... –my blood boiled in every word that from his explanation, my breath was out of control by the anger that ran through me so I closed my hand and punched that sour whitey face- We were worried about you!
Sherlock-makes a face-thanks, I think, but it was the best way to find out everything as logically as possible
John- It's good, at least he believes in us now.
Sherlock- I just have to know why you hid this from me.
Mary-would you believe it?
Sherlock-ha ... no!
Hamish-Dad! Are you okay?
Sherlock. Of course Hamish,did you take good care of our base?
Hamish-Uh huh I didn’t let (points Castiel) come in he's weird
Sherlock-Yeah, I met Dean and Samuel but who are you and why you tried to break into my house, no, you stayed a while here
Castiel- I don’t know how you know it but my name is Castiel John asked me to take care of your son and Mrs. Hudson
Sherlock- (grimaces) They were fine by themselves and Hamish suspected of you he must be right
Doctor-Ah Sherlock .... so many things you don’t know
Sherlock-Then tell me (sarcastic) clever and wise Doctor!
Hamish-I took care of it, sir! And that guy is cool and old ... I made him vomit five times in two days
Sherlock-Have you talked about the process of decomposing the body again?
Hamish-yes and how to get the guts out of a body
Molly-That’s my boy
Doctor- (I laughed at Sherlock and rolled my eyes) I thought you were the famous London smarty pants, Mr. Holmes, but if you want I'll tell you, you are in dang- I felt my mouth being covered by someone and I bit the hand of the person
John- "My hand," I sighed, "he still shouldn’t know.
Doctor-We are on alert Rory Pond enough of mysteries
John-I AM NOT RORY!
Doctor- Whatever John Hamish Watson (said his name sarcastically) there’s an alien race behind you they are known as daleks, they are arch enemies of my people ... they are soldiers who have no feeling just hate and if you keep looking at every detail of a person to get a rational explanation and not collaborate with us you will become one of them
Sherlock, "I sighed, arching my eyebrows." This is ridiculous and ... why are them after me? " Do they want me to be like them?
Mary-Actually they already think that you are like them
Sherlock-I sighed-like them, I'm not so empty like them
Molly-sorry love but you don’t show it
Sherlock. "I raised my hands." On which side are you Molly Hooper? "
Molly-You forgot the Holmes, what I mean is you don’t show your feelings
Sherlock- I smile weakly and I look at her- you're sure of her words Mrs. Holmes
Molly-You know I'm right and if we're in danger, you should believe the Doctor, I think she's the only one who knows how to help us now.
Doctor-smiles-did you know that you are one of my favorite characters? And yes I can-smile putting on the glasses has a perfect way to leave them lost and that's where we set fire
Hamish- Are you going to burn our house?
Emily-She's ... - remembering the punishment- not too normal Hammy
Hamish-And what is normal? Dissect frogs?
Doctor-let's call my methods of ... Doctor's orders
Emily- (rolls her eyes) So original!
Hamish- Stop being boring Emily it’s going to be like follow the leader
Doctor- (I sighed reminding Missy) the difference is that I'm not a fan of Mary Poppins and I'm here
Sherlock (he sat in his chair, hands clasped under his jaw, thoughtful) you said you had a corpse guarded, it's the missing Portland girl, Ellen Karkaff?
Doctor-Me and my grandchildren began to investigate but I found it better to help her if you understand me, I have serious doubts about her death no matter how much Sam has researched, Belle thought you could help us
Sherlock-So your ship is also a morgue?
Doctor-A TARDIS changes as what we need, come Mr. Holmes we have work to do
Sherlock-You can’t give me orders in my own house
Doctor-Do you want to see the body or not?
Sherlock rolls his eyes and together they cross the street. Inside the TARDIS, the Doctor shows Ellen's body just as she and her grandchildren had found. The time lady and the detective took the corpse to Baker St. Sherlock approached every detail.
Sherlock-She's sleeping! Probably put to sleep with a powerful sleeping pill
Doctor-I know what attacked her was a dalek, one of the same ones that want you and I thought the best way for you to meet your enemy is by studying a crime he committed
Sherlock - She knows me better than I thought - I think Molly could take a better look.
Doctor-That will be lovely, you work with your family like me.
Can Sherlock-Molly come here please?
Molly-Yes? What is it love?
Doctor-We need your help to unravel what happened to Ellen here
Molly-Did you put a corpse in my living room?
Doctor-She is not (gesturing) dead and where is everyone?
Molly-Emily went to talk to Belle, and the boys went to bed and John and Mary too, they must be trying to get used to the time zone
Doctor- (sighs) well a time lady, a brilliant detective with a funny hat who, incidentally, thinks it's a weapon and the best Barts pathologist who is not a duck doctor analyzing a victim body of the Daleks ... well ... geronimoooo
Molly (laughing at her joke and blushing with her compliment, I saw that Sherlock disguised, or tried to disguise the curiosity about the mysterious doctor) excuse me but .... how do you know all about us?
Doctor-it's complicated, but we can say that I'm a big fan of both
Molly-All right-she smiles-you can tell me later, but now you want me to examine the body? Sherlock said she may be sleeping.
Doctor- (biting her lips with a sigh and holding Molly by the shoulders) but I want to hear from you Molly Hooper Holmes! Show me that Molly again, that left Sherlock drooling when analyzing that skeleton! Trust me, I'm a doctor.
Sherlock-what a thing! How does she know that?
Molly-it's okay ... - she approaches Ellen - her back is swollen and her throat too, her lips pursed ... yeah, she may have taken something.
Sherlock-I didn’t smell medicine
Molly-a suffocated sigh
Doctor-That's what Sam's research explains.
Molly (she sees some instruments nearby and takes a magnifying glass) She doesn’t show signs that she has swallowed anything ... as if she had inhaled something, I need more things to say right, but there seems to be something that is keeping her alive and at the same time causing some changes, which is visible in the texture of her skin ...
Doctor- (I opened my eyes to realize one thing) You are the most brilliant couple I have ever seen .... we have to get her out of here before ... - before finishing my speech her forehead opened, leaving a the sight of a dalek that looked like a telescope, and she opened her eyes and ran out of there and slowly she goes after us repeating "exterminate, exterminate." Then in a quick move I look at my sonic key into Dalek's eye, but it was getting closer when I hear a sound of a weapon being prepared and I pull everyone to lower themselves at the very moment that the weapon is fired and the projectile hits the viewfinder half dalek and the body falls in a thud on the ground, in which we rise to see who was the savior of the motherland
