Emppu steigt bei Brother Firetribe aus

War irgendwie über kurz oder lang abzusehen. Emppu Vuorinen steigt bei Brother Firetribe aus Zeitmangel aus. Bei Nightwish steht eine neue Platte, und damit verbunden eine neue Tour an und da lassen sich zwei Bands nicht mehr vereinbaren, wenn man in solch einer grossen Nummer wie Nightwish spielt. Ausser man hat hin und wieder ein Soloprojekt wie es die anderen auch zwischen durch mal haben. Brother Firetribe ist aber kein Projekt sondern eine ernst zunehmende Band, die nebenbei auch noch richtig geile Musik abliefert. In knapp einer Woche erscheint mit “Rock In the City” ein neuer Song und gibt einen Vorgeschmack auf das neue Album. Auf diesem wird Emppu jedoch noch zu hören sein und wird auch deutlich seine Trademarks hinterlassen. Ein Nachfolger für ihn steht mit Roope Riihijärvi auch bereits in den Startlöchern. Ganz ein Unbekannter ist Roope bei Brother Firetribe jedoch auch nicht. Er stand schon im letzten Jahr mit ihnen auf der Bühne. Hier gibt es auch gleich einen kleinen Zusammenschnitt davon.

New Album: Brother Firetribe - Feel The Burn

Helsinki's melodic rock band Brother Firetribe have been dropping successful singles one after another from their new album, "Feel The Burn". The album comes out on October 16th and marks the beginning of a new era for the band.

Well the title says it all. Singer Pekka Heino says, "It came to us one night messing about in Hollywood when this older, local gentleman we met started hollering the phrase after hearing that we were from Scandinavia. It stuck. It represents exactly how hearing the album makes us feel: anxious, excited, pumped up, enthusiastic"

The album has also brought about change as Emppu Vuorinen stepped down from his guitar-playing duties and the new kid in town, Roope Riihijärvi, got his chance to shine. This talented guitarist has shown he is the perfect fit for the group.

Pekka Heino says, "To us, this album is the next step forward in what we do and how people will look at the band. The road had its bumps before getting there, but, for better or worse, we love this classy, polished, kick-ass result. It’s exactly how we see this band in 2020. If YOU Feel The Burn it’s bound to leave a beautiful mark!"

Brother Firetribe have also been making a short film for release later this autumn. It features Pekka Heino along with several esteemed Finnish actors.
