Star kids raise awareness over Covid-19 - bollywood

The Covid-19 pandemic currently remains the most talked-about issue the world over, and not only celebrities but even their kids are doing their bit in this collective fight against the deadly novel coronavirus. Through pictures and videos posted on social media, star kids are proving to be second to none in spreading awareness about the fast-spreading illness.

In a video uploaded by actor Tusshar Kapoor, his son Laksshya is seen talking about the virus and urging people to stay home to win this fight. “We will fight the coronavirus…If people don’t wanna fall ill, stay home,” says the cute kid, who will be turning four in June this year.

  While Tusshar’s son outlined the importance of staying at home and social distancing, director-choreographer Farah Khan Kunder’s daughter Anya used social media to create awareness about animal right concerns, amid the pandemic.

Making an appearance on her mother’s Instagram feed, Anya urged people to take good care of their pets. “Animal love (soon to be activist) doing her bit.. art by #Anya.. guys lets not be total assholes in these times.. (message by me),” wrote Farah while sharing a picture of her daughter carrying a hand-made poster showcasing a dog and captioned — ‘we ain’t guilty of Covid-19’.

  TV actor Ashish Chowdhary also shared a video of his five-year-old daughters Salara and Sammah talking about the significance of staying at home and taking care of personal hygiene amid the spread of the disease.

“A lockdown is we have to stay home because coronavirus is spreading everywhere and it is better to stay home to take care of ourselves and our families…take care of everybody and do not go outside,” the two kids could be heard saying in a video, shared by the actor.

  Director-producer Karan Johar has also shared several short clips of trying to teach his kids, Yash and Roohi, about coronavirus and its ill-effects. In one of the videos, which later went viral, his son Yash also suggested taking the help of actor Amitabh Bachchan to ‘take away’ the pandemic.

  In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Indian government last month announced a 21-day lockdown across the country, leading to the cancellation and postponement of all shoots and movie productions. Acknowledging the gravity of situation, celebrities have also been doing their bit to raise awareness about social distancing.

Janhvi Kapoor in a Double Role for Rooh Afza Along With Rajkummar Rao & Varun Sharma

Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor has joined the cast of producer Dinesh Vijan’s film, Rooh-Afza, which also stars Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. “For Rooh-Afza, we needed actors who could jump into their roles with unabashed conviction. Rajkummar and Varun are phenomenal actors, comedy is a space they excel in and own,” Vijan said in a statement.She made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak. Rasjkummar also shared the poster of the film and tweeted, “All set to bring to you this perfect mixture of horror and comedy, #RoohAfza! #JanhviKapoor @VarunSharma90 #DineshVijan #HardikMehta @mriglamba #GautamMehra @MaddockFilms @JIOCinema”

The daughter of late actress Sridevi will play two characters -- Roohi and Afsana -- in the upcoming film. “For the female lead, we needed someone who could portray two contrasting personalities with ease, and Janhvi stood out. She really connected with the script. Her talent is still raw, but she is excited about being moulded. The script is young, refreshing and totally crazy, and she is exactly that,” Vijan said about the actress, who made her debut last year.

EXCLUSIVE: Katrina Kaif is not Ranbir Kapoor's love interest in Jagga Jasoos

Jagga Jasoos has been riddled with controversies from the get go. Not only does the movie star ex-couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, the movie was initially supposed to release way back in 2014. It's 2K17 now and the movie is yet to see the broad daylight.

  There seemed to be a ray of sunshine when it was announced last year, that Jagga Jasoos will be releasing on April 7, 2017, but then came pictures of Ranbir and Katrina on the sets of the movie as they shot for some scenes.  Reports were rife that one of Jagga Jasoos' poster features a lip-lock between Katrina and Ranbir which has left the actress displeased with the director Anurag Basu.  A source, however, dismissed the reports to us and said, "There is no Jagga Jasoos poster of the two leads in a lip-lock." While we wait anxiously for the movie to release, we've got some more interesting tidbit about the movie's storyline that will leave you surprised! An industry insider revealed to us, "Katrina may not even be Ranbir's love interest in Jagga Jasoos." This is, in fact, shocking to hear, indeed!  We'll have to wait and watch on the progressing developments of the movie and as to when Jagga Jasoos will hit the screens.  Meanwhile, Ranbir and Katrina are busy with other upcoming movies as well. Ranbir is currently shooting for the Sanjay Dutt biopic which is being helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. Katrina is shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai and recently completed the first schedule of the movie in Austria. She will be reuniting with Salman Khan on screen. What's interesting is that both the Sanjay Dutt biopic and Tiger Zinda Hai may clash at the box-office for a Christmas release.
