Stevewilldoit
Over the past few years, cryptocurrency online gambling has went from being a brand new concept, to a quickly on the rise industry projected to be worth $127billion by 2027 (according to FinancialNewsMedia.com). While this increasing value has a lot to do with the recent cryptocurrency boom, I believe social media influencers such as Stevewilldoit can be credited with online crypto casino website’s recent spike in users.
As I’ve already written about in a previous blog post, my introduction to the world of online gambling was back during the March 2020 quarantine. I remember having trouble sleeping, so I went on youtube and looked around my recommended videos. One of the top suggestions that stuck out to me was from Stevewilldoit, an online gambling video where the title suggested that he had won big playing on the online crypto casino roobet.com. Watching him, inebriated and seemingly happy as he played the online casino games from roobet.com and won tons of money, made me desperately want to try and see if I too could win thousands of dollars. Of course I never ended up winning thousands, even to this day, in fact my first time transferring $10 onto roobet.com, I lost all of it within minutes from testing my luck on crash (see my previous blog post, “Stake Originals pt.1,” for an in-depth rundown if unsure of how crash works).

After this first attempt at online gambling, I wanted so badly to bet more and make money, but couldn’t allow myself to while I only had close to $100 in my bank account. But, even though I couldn’t afford to bet, I still found myself jealously watching Stevewilldoit gamble for hours, throwing thousands of dollars as if it were nothing. Eventually though, I was able to pickup a landscaping job at a family friend's company. And would you guess where I decided to first spend my hard earned money? Yup, I went on roobet and lost another $20. The difference with this time though is I was able to keep my money for a while, at one point reaching $70, but ultimately losing all of it not even an hour later.
Nowadays, almost two years later, I continue to gamble online from time to time, and know that oftentimes, the money I transfer will be lost. So when I feel like testing my luck, I only transfer amounts that I can easily afford, making sure I’m not spending too much too quickly. Is Stevewilldoit to blame for all the money I’ve lost, did he seduce me into joining online casinos knowing how common and easy to fall for gambling addictions are? In my opinion, I think even if Stevewilldoit didn’t make videos on it, I still would’ve heard of online casinos eventually, especially with how quickly cryptocurrencies are on the rise. So, he may have been the one that ended up introducing me, but I think making my own online casino accounts was inevitable, so I don’t put any blame onto him.
Recently though, Stevewilldoit has been exposed on how he has become so wealthy in such a short time-span by youtuber Coffeezilla, in a video titled “Stevewilldoit’s Dark Secret: Roobet’s House of Cards ep. 1” (SteveWillDoIt's Dark Secret - ROOBET'S HOUSE OF CARDS EP. 1). In this video, Coffeezilla explains how an argument on twitter between the two got him interested in investigating. It started when Coffeezilla tweeted that he knew online casinos were hiring popular influencers with the promise of a certain percentage of their fans' losses, which Stevewilldoit claimed was false, stating that there’s no part of the roobet ‘affiliate program’ contract that gives him his fans money. And Steve wasn’t lying, as the contract doesn’t say that but it does state, “Affiliates receive a commission of 5% of the mathematical house edge on all of their referrals’ wagers.” Which is almost the same thing granted, but instead of taking it right out of his fans pockets he is instead taking money from roobet.com so it’s a bit more ethical. But personally, I don’t see a problem with this and wasn’t surprised at all, as with any sponsorship, the person sponsored gets paid for bringing customers to the company, so it’s not much of a difference from say a professional athlete's deal with nike, as they get paid royalties for each shoe sold. Not to mention, he’s also known as one of the most generous youtubers on the platform right now, giving away literally millions of dollars worth of cars, watches, chains, and cash to his fans.
Whether you like Stevewilldoit as a person/influencer or not, there’s no denying that he has made a killing from his time spent crypto gambling on roobet.com, as he continues to gain thousands of stream viewers every time he plays. If you’re anything like me and wish you could be betting thousands of dollars on a single game but don't have enough money to ever bring yourself to do it, I recommend hopping on one of his streams to get that itch out.

Casino Poker Chips - 6 Things You Should Know
#1 - Casino Poker Chips Come In Three Types Only
There are several different materials that are used to make poker chips. However, the three main manufacturers that design Las Vegas casino poker chips use only three different types. They are all approximately 1-1/2 inches in diameter, but the weight varies; mainly due to composite, design, and how intense the dyes are.
#2 - Clay Chips Aren't Used - Clay Composite and Ceramic Are Popular
Most visitors to Las Vegas and Atlantic City are surprised to find that clay chips aren't used. Introduced in the late nineteenth century, the clay chips broke easily. Instead it is a clay composite, that contains mostly high impact and very durable polymers. Ceramic chips are also becoming quite popular.
#3 - Designs and Colors Are Casino-Specific
The designs and colors are specific to the casino they represent, but the variance in weight will stay very close to ten grams. You might ask what is so special about ceramic chips. For one thing, it is a solid body, rather than the combined chip with an inlay that is used so traditionally by casinos. They are substantially stronger and more durable, impossible to tamper with, and very difficult if not impossible to counterfeit.
#4 - Flamingo Casino in Las Vegas - First To Use Clay Composite Die Cut Metal Foil Chips
Clay composite chips, with a design in die cut metal foil, was used when the Flamingo Casino opened. However, the casino poker chips changed in the 50's to chips with logos, and house designs, plus some sort of strip or spot on the edges, to identify the casino in which roobet they were being used. Some chips today are metal and coin-like, with plastic outer edges. Today, all casino chips are unique and identifiable to the house they belong in, copyrighted and secure.
#5 - Lots of Choices For Casino Chips For Home Play
People who are looking for chip sets for home play have more choices. There are composite metal core chips, that are extremely durable. Basically they are made up of a metal slug surrounded by plastic. They can be individualized by decal or hot stamp, and feel and look very much like the Vegas chips.
Most of them are manufactured in Taiwan, and the quality is not always consistent. Request a sample from the seller before you buy them. The Chinese chips often are lower in quality than those of Taiwan, probably because they have poorer quality control methods. The prices are quite similar.
#6 - Plastic Chips Are An Inexpensive Alternative Good For Home Play
If you are just exploring your interest in poker and don't want to make an expensive investment as yet, plastic chips are the answer for you. You can get them almost anywhere, from cheap ones in the toy aisle of discount stores to heavier, more substantial chips that weigh up to seven grams.
They are easily damaged, lighter than regulation casino poker chips, and not very easy to stack. If you are looking to invest in true quality, and price is no object, check into simply taking home chips from the casino you play in and using them at home. They can always be returned next time you visit, and they won't deflate in value.
Now that you know the various poker chip designs and makes, you should be able to make a more informed decision about which type of poker chip you want to buy.
