Rajasthan Royals, RCA join hands to organise women’s T20 competition

The trials for the 'RR Women's Cup' will be held in Jodhpur on September 16, and the main tournament will take place from September 17-19. Six teams will participate - Jaipur Warriors and Jodhpur Gladiators as well as Udaipur Thunderbolts and Udaipur Thunderbolts. The main tournament runs from September 17 to 19.

Rajasthan royals and the Rajasthan Cricket Association will organize a women's 20-over competition - The RR Women's Cup – in Jodhpur, from September 16-19. The main tournament will begin on the following day, with trials taking place on September 16.

Six teams representing six cities in Rajasthan will participate - Jaipur Warriors and Jodhpur Gladiators; Udaipur Thunderbolts and Udaipur Thunderbolts; and each team will have a total of 25 players. 15 players will be selected for the trials at the Spartans Cricket Academy Ground, Uchiyarda (Jodhpur), on September 16. Romi Bhinder, Royals' Head for High Performance Operations, will oversee the trials.

The main tournament's six league matches will take place at Uchiyarda Cricket Academy Ground in Jodhpur on September 17th-18th. The final will take place on September 19. Both days' league matches will begin at 7 AM, 10:30 AM, and 2 PM. The final will take place on September 19, with Riyan Parag, Royals all-rounder, and Shubham Garhwal (local hero), taking part.

Jake Lush McCrum is the CEO of Rajasthan Royals. He stated, "With 150 players from across the state expected to participate, we are certain to witness some intense fights on the field. We also identify potential talents to be part the State and the National team as well as the Women's in the future."

During and after the tournament, Bhinder and delegates from the RCA will offer guidance and support for the players.
