While drugs account for a sizable portion of his criminal income, Roman absolutely hates the stuff and would sooner hand himself over to the authorities than use any of them. His mother got addicted to cocaine shoftly after he was born, a combination of undiagnosed postpartum depression and an unsupportive husband pushing her to ‘self medicate’ with the stuff. As a witness to the effects these drugs had on his mother, Roman takes almost malicious glee in flooding the city streets with narcotics - as far as he’s concerned, anybody who uses drugs and gets hooked on them deserves everything they get and to lose their wealth to him.
