“I have a distinct feeling your hands will be cold. Don’t worry about me, though. I’m practically a human fire!”

Maple had the urge to just- leap into her arms with the biggest hug. But she wasn’t comfortable with hugs. Or she thought? Maple had been changing faster then she knew it..

Instead, she just smiled.

“Zariaaaaaa!!! Wanna go to the pumpkin patch with me? Pleaseeeeee?!”

Maple was practically begging her, lmao. I mean- Twas the season after all!

She was jumping with excitement, her hopes up real high.

She fidgeted with her gloves, looking a bit more concerned now.

*The Night After the dinner Zaria talked about, you find a note saying: “Hey. So, I’m going to be staying elsewhere tonight just in case Bailey finds out I helped get their little brother figure, Olive, arrested. I don’t want any harm to come to you from Bailey since he knows how to kill. I’ll be back first thing tomorrow, and if not take this note to the police as evidence. Love you. -Zaria*

Maple was just- sitting there. She looked so anxious..and just, so, so tired. She must have stayed up all night waiting. And just not Able to sleep because of the worry’s of what could happen to Zaria.

The second she saw Zaria, Maple immediately rose from her chair, rushing over to check up on her. Just in case, you know?

“Are you okay?! What happened?! Did you get hurt?!”

She clears her throat, scratching her neck once again. It’s apart of the conversation process, I guess!

“Sooooo….what would you like to do today? Not that we have to do anything, if you’d like!”

It would seem she’s trying really hard to be friendly. I don’t think she’s ever talked to someone that showed interest in what she had to say. Unless you count the stray cats and dogs the roamed the Junkyard sometimes..

“hey! I uh- brought you something..!”

Maple hands you something wrapped in what seemed to be a napkin, it was warm too. And smelled rather delicious! Perhaps it’s a tasty treat in return of the bread?

“Apologies, it’s not much but..I wanted to repay you in some way!”

She smiled, hoping you’d at least like what she had gifted you. Oh god- WHAT IF SHE WAS ALLERGIC?!

“YOU DONT-! Uh..you don’t have to eat it though, if you’re not Hungry..?”
