Barolo Sarmassa Voerzio Roberto 2000 Magnum (1,5 L) Italia, Piemonte DOCG Barolo; Barolo; MGA Sarmassa Nebbiolo (100%) 14 % Un Campione non da poco questa annata, considerato che è uno dei rarissimi vini ad aver raggiunto i famosi 100/100 da entrambi i due critici internazionali più famosi (Wine Advocat di Robert Parker e Wine Spectator di James Suckling). Ancor meglio disporre di questo formato Magnum del quale sono state prodotte poco più di 50 esemplari e che lo porta nel 2022 a superare i mille euro di quotazione a bottiglia. Questo vino nasce nel 1998 nel Crù Sarmassa, comune di Barolo. Le vigne, esposte a sud, occupano la parte più alta del Crù su suoli argillosi ed hanno una densità di impianto di 4-6000 ceppi/ha con una resa di circa 500 g per pianta (una delle rese più basse di Barolo, visto poi che la resa tradizionale è di 2kg a pianta). L’uva viene raccolta a fine settembre-inizio ottobre Fermentazione con lieviti indigeni dura dai 10 ai 30 giorni. La malolattica avviene in acciaio per poi maturare 24 mesi in botte di legno. La cantina Roberto Voerzio nasce nel 1986 a la Morra e diviene una delle più importanti a Barolo (tra le poche presenti nel nucleo storico) grazie anche al meticolo lavoro in vigna durante tutto l’anno. I due ettari iniziali presto circa 20, grazie alle acquisizioni dei vigneti nei Crù circostanti. Tra i suoi vini prodotti, i Baroli: Cerequio; Rocche dell’Annunziata; Fossati Case Nere; Sarmassa; Brunate; La Serra.
