Stranglethorn Vale Bonfire Bash 2024 Prompt 1: Hidden Treasure

Uh oh! Roan lost something on the beach… something kinda important. 😅 When I saw the first week prompt I knew I was going to draw the event that @roanathos-niluthiadand and I rp’d back at the 2022 Bash-- but, I knew the whole scene would be a bit much for one week. (And okay, I actually would’ve attempted it/more if I hadn’t been super busy!) I parsed down and changed our rp quite a bit, but stayed as true as I could to how it went down. I also tried to be as loose as possible… it still came out pretty refined, but I could have quibbled with it a lot more, so I’m proud of myself lol.

Thanks to @lateoctobermoon aka Shiro for being willing to be the finder of the ring, in the most unexpected place, and thanks of course to Roan for such wild, amazing, and fun rp over the years 😊 🥂

Also surprise cameos by our fearless leaders Obasi (Rage) and Poeful (Buttart) , my good friend @thebanaltongue , and Ashiyr (who’s the guy shrugging on page 2, sorry it wasn’t a bigger part!) for being cool with me grabbing their characters! All told this took about 15 hours (fast for me). I'll probably post how the rough sketches looked vs. the final product in another post 😆
