When River first came out and everybody was spreading around screenshots of the MistyStar death scene, I don't know how, but I thought that MistyStar jumped off of the big fucking stump (Because the text described her as "lunging forward") and died on impact like this

I genuinely thought this is what happened until I read back on it a few days after that first thought

Nightheart doesn’t seem that bad so far. Hes just like. A teenager. A guy. Really self conscious which is expected but as far as I can tell he sort of had a reason for it, in a “yeah everything is a little inconvenient rn for you. Everything bad is happening to this poor cat and he is irritated. Cool.”

I do like the little whispers of dynamics between cats like rootspring and ivypool too.
