Summary:

When Aguni arrives at Takeru's office at his behest, he's surprised to find that you—one of Hatter's many girlfriends? flings?—are waiting there, as well. Things start to make a little more sense when Takeru starts pontificating about how important it is for everyone to enjoy themselves at the Beach and so on and so forth. But Aguni wouldn't really have expected you to be interested in helping him relax. You're just as scared of him as the others. Or, at least, that's what he believes.

What Aguni, or Hatter for that matter, don't know is that you're a little different from the other Beach residents. 😉

I am weak for middle-aged men, especially if they’re gentle giants or villains. Big time villain brain-rot over here, especially if Park Hae-soo is playing them 😭😭😭. I'm a little upset at myself for not actually posting this update on Thursday or Friday like I wanted, but I decided to squish chapters 3 & 4 into one because they're both kinda short (for me), and they take place during the same day, anyway. (That's why the chapter count is back down to 16.) Yay for moving the plot along. This chapter is the first where I sprinkle in a little Aguni POV. The story will mostly focus on Reader, but I will include a couple moments here and there where we see a little bit of what Aguni is thinking. Also Reader and Aguni have a real conversation in this chapter! Amazing! So begins the Reader's journey into Aguni brainrot. 🥲 I hope you enjoy!
