Synopsis

A YA-ish superhero story about envy, about identity, about carving out a space in the world for yourself with every ounce of rage you can muster.

Anzu Mizunoe is a bitter late-20s burnout who lost her family, friends, and future when she came out as trans, but her life finally takes a turn for the better when she happens on a cache of powered armor. To her shock, though, the armor is animate, and claims to have originally been human - not just that, but she claims to be Skye Campbell, the superhero inventor who once inspired hope in Anzu and now just inspires jealousy. When the robot's original owner, a cutting-edge paramilitary force, comes calling to reacquire their "property", Anzu finds herself with a chance to prove that she's every bit the hero Skye was - but she'll have to move quickly, now that she finally has something to lose.

All the Buddie drama you’d expect ; oblivious idiots, fluff, angst, pining, getting together, eventual smut but with dragons, drama, tension and more plot than I expected when I started writing. A 9-1-1/Dragonriders of Pern AU. Eddie’s grieving and hurt but he finds a new home and then he finds Buck. Slowly things start to get better for him and Christopher. A story about moving forward from trauma and grief with help from the people you love and who love you back. Or a story about how life can work out ok even when you don’t expect it to.

The likelihood of Hanto and Sachika coming up with excuses or outright telling Shouma to stay with them is much higher than Shouma picking up the kanji for "friend" (友達), using it in a letter he left on the table and we (along with Sachika and Hanto) expect he ran off again, only for him to sheepishly reveal he didn't and quietly stuck around because he wanted to ask the people he considers his friends in-person if it's okay for him to stay, but I like to imagine things that'll send my heart and soul into a crisis

Hi, we all know Cloudy Skies. He's Dreamers husband he's very much known as he is constantly brought up and making surprise pop ups in drawings.

Something most may have not known, he never got a proper design. So all the drawing that have been made of him have been so time consuming of me just thinking about what colors and clothing he is to wear. So I bestow upon everyone

His magic is Clouds, his magic acts like a Defense magic. It's also mainly the Air element! (Yes da boi is an Air boi)

He can make a cloud like hiding spot which hides those around him quite well in the right conditions! The only downside is the conditions it would work in, just like normal clouds they won't form in some places. A good example Fifi gave me was Like if he is in a desert he's "gonna have one hell of a time forming a cloud"

abaranger and faiz are like inextricably linked to me, one cannot exist without the other. i watched them back to back together with my friend skillz (rewatches for me, first time for her) and it was like, the Peak Tokusatsu Viewing Experience. something about experiencing abare killer and kamen rider kaixa at the same time changes you.

i definitely get what you mean tho, faiz can be an unbearably frustrating show to watch, as much as i ultimately love it. toshiki inoue's eternal curse upon us all

Clear Skies Ahead: A Novel

Hi! I wrote a book about a twentysomething burnout henshin hero using their secret identity and homemade power suit to explore their gender and pay the bills through social media! Now I’m posting it online! You can read it at this link!

Synopsis:

When early-20s burnout Alice tries to track down the local Portland superheroine Sky Horizon, she finds out that the heroine's true identity is none other than her old classmate Oliver, another early-20s burnout who uses the transformation to volunteer and survives off his Patreon. As he sheepishly explains, he designed the suit after his favorite tokusatsu superhero shows like Kamen Rider or Power Rangers.

When the suit's design gets leaked, however, he'll have to fight in earnest to keep his creation out of unscrupulous hands, and confront parts of himself he didn't think he was strong enough to face.

A YA-ish superhero story about shame, about responsibility, about how loving an idea enough is all you need to make it real. If you're curious, have a sample of a new chapter under the read-more!
