So like here’s some memories/details I remembered that I’ve obtained over the past week!!

Noor has a favorite grey sweatshirt that Lilly bought her, it has their names embroidered in the hand cuffs

Ricky’s singing voice is VERY similar to McCafferty and the song BEACHBOY is literally him

Claire is scared of swinging but when Olive or Enoch pushes her on the swing she is okay

Olive loves to run through the halls but on the ceiling when she takes her boots off

DEVILS ACRE SMELLS SO DANK EWWWWW (but like why do I love it there so much)

Ymbrynes have a social status based on their pocket watch (a beginner ymbryne would have a small quarter sized pocket watch with little to no engravings, as they grow as an ymbryne they will advance to bigger and more ornate watches, so far Miss Avocet was known to have the “best” pocket watch. It is an honor to be gifted your first pocket watch by older ymbrynes)

Millard sleep walks, and it’s terrifying because he normally sleeps without clothes so miss P forced him after a while, we had to walk in the middle of the night cuz he got out of the house and we couldn’t see him 😭

Bronwyn has hyperhydrosis like I do in my CR, she gets a lil insecure

Jacob talks about Ricky a lot to Noor, only to Noor because he feels that if he spoke about him to anyone else they would be terrified

Fiona hates growing mushrooms but they are one of her favorite plants

Hugh found a way to get high on honey. Miss P was PISSED.

Sharon is such a drunk uncle when he’s not brooding or mysterious, very grunkle Stan vibes

Jacob Portman head cannons bc we love him

+ a few others

-His parents made him do a bunch of sports when he was young

-At some point he tried to learn a new language

-He did swim lessons for a long time now he's a really good swimmer

-He grips his pencil weird

-Didn't like fizzy drinks (soda, sparkling water, ect)

-Loves chocolate milk but will not drink regular milk

- He either hates mint or loves it

-plays animal crossing and stardew valley sometimes

-He's a dog person, he loves swimming with them, but his mom is allergic so he couldn't have one

-Got a pet fish instead

-Ricky has had many pet hamsters and they have all had tragic deaths

-He had a drawing phase and he was good at it

-he stopped bc his dad told him it's useless

-scared of disappointment and rejection

-has tried dr*gs and alcohol before (caused by peer pressure)

-His dad was an alcoholic

-His mom was a workaholic

-Ricky's mom is really cool

-Jacob secretly learned how to cook and never told anybody

-It takes a long time before anybody finds out

Hollowsmokes is the ship name for (Jacob x Ricky that I found on some post)

didn’t know that was a name for it but okay! Personally I like them romantically but I also love them platonically.

-I think Ricky would be weirdly good at art. On that note he has drawn Jacob before (and threw it away immediately because he was embarrassed)

-Ricky kicks at himself everyday for what he did to Jacob

Ok,,, that's cute,, and periodically, I check the tag and there's a lot more stuff there than the last time I checked. Idk there's just something about them,,,

Btw I wish Jacob's parents were talked about more like poor boy went through sm and the thought of his parents meeting all the peculiars was such a fun thought to me and then reading was like 😧💔 which like, I understand why they would freak out but they were actually so rude abt everything sometimes iirc (I think they'd be lowkey homophobic and insist he was going through a phase and then when he's still bi like 3 years after coming out they'd either be like "Well, it could still be a phase, I doubt this'll last forever, you know ���‍♂️😒" or "we never doubted you! We'll always support you 🥰🥰" and Jacob is just 😐😐. All he ever wanted was for his parents to support him in something)

Quick question

How would the peculiars think about Ricky if he joined Jacob to discover them in the first book

Especially when they enter the loop & meet Emma

The reason for this question is because I remember a few post about him and the peculiars and a fic that he met the peculiars

So I just want to get other people opinion’s opinion about this

But also how the people in the loop would react to Ricky since it is cannon that he’s a punk?? (I believe)

Jacob Portman HCs

- Definitely dabbled in romantic poetry at one point. He tried to write Noor a romantic poem about how beautiful she is and how much she means to him but he ended up rewriting it so many times he gave up (she’s too wonderful for words to fully encapsulate).

- He’s a lot more casual and curses more when speaking to Noor, Lilly, Ricky, and Enoch. He tries his best not to swear around the others to the point where they don’t believe Enoch when he tries to tattle on him.

- He thinks of Enoch as a little brother but would NEVER admit it. He taught him how to drive after TDoDA and despite the chaos, they bonded a lot over it and bicker less.

- He’s great at checkers but sucks ass at chess. I have no in-text proof it’s just a gut feeling. He has never won a game of chess against Millard.

- He always can tell when Horace is feeling anxious and tries his best to help him, usually by distracting him, asking him about the latest peculiar fashion trends or what he’s knitted recently.

- While he views all the peculiars as his family, like with Enoch, he views Bronwyn as his sister and feels pure adoration for her. Her gentleness and kindness inspires him to do the same and he feels protective over her (despite her needing no protection).

- He got an emotional support dog after TDoDa that Noor named. He brings it everywhere and can’t sleep without the dog by his side.

- Turning into a hollow didn’t leave him looking how he was before. The whites of his eyes turned black and leak black goo when he cries, and his skin became much paler with his veins more visible.
