So… this scene is speculating the end of the show… because I think it was like a memorial or wrap up of what looks like it, or something close, like everything has ended.

Yet … this scene is where Richie has his “hallucination” … and what happens after, well if this really is a replica of Mike in s5 then this shall not be some happy conversation he’s having with “hopper” if that’s truly the case.

I'm OBSESSED with the idea of Connor Bowers being a reflection of everything Eddie could have been had he been a worse person. Eddie could have so easily ended up like Connor, he could have constantly made the fact his mom is a nut job everyone elses problem. He could have acted like a douche bag with out consequence because its hard to be sonia kaspbraks son. He could have thrown any of his friends under the bus just to make his mother happy and save himself. He could have, but he didn't because Eddie is a good kid despite all his issues. That's also why Connor works so well as a foil for richie, he is the version of Eddie that would hurt him if he revealed his feelings. Connor embodies the worst of eddies internalized homophobia and Richies insecurities about coming out.
