What? but turn-based is like... so hand-holding. you can just sit there and think. and consider. bg3 in particular has a very forgiving combat
I have a lot of thoughts about this but unfortunately as I'm typing them out I'm realizing I sound kind of like an ipad baby lol

Hi-Fi Rush really said "let's make a rhythm game that's made with such love and passion for music, has good characterization and growth, the humor and character designs are fun, the enemy battles are creative, the main villain is defeated through the power of friendship, and it contains tons of bonus content with no microtransactions, all for half the cost of an AAA game" and it fucking slapped

second time thru RoW and i still don’t like the deal dalinar made. it’s so … presumptuous? he is so determined to speak for all of mankind and to believe he’s making the right decision and (as his history has shown) he’s not the most reliable on that front. sure he’s able to uphold HIS morality but that doesn’t mean it’s right, esp considering he’s more put off by the murder of a slimy evil man who tried to kill him multiple times than the concept of slavery

Uninstalling voicebox(meat)...
Uninstalled.
Installing voicebox(DOS)...
(God same, I wish I could tune my voice like a Vocaloid)
I don't know about you, but I need to be https://discordier.github.io/sam/ I have poor control over my tone. Can't we just get that disabled completely? No more of it. There are major inconsistencies in the flesh I think I might abandon it for the mechanical. Surely, nothing unexpected ever happens over there!

i still have to finish dragon age (think im about 70%-ish through) and i like the game for a lot of things but man if it's made one thing abundantly clear is that i'm not into action games
the combat is so mindnumbingly boring i dread every fight
that's not the game's fault i'm pretty sure because.. i imagine it's a proper combat system? (i don't really have much of a point of comparison in the genre) but to me personally it's just. mash 2 buttons for like 3-5 combos. hit 1 of 3 skills on cooldown. tell your companion to hit a skill on cooldown. mash mash mash.
i wanted to try but i really can't get into it bro😭dunno if i should have started on a higher difficulty but i'm afraid the enemies would just become damage sponges and it would just be more of the same mashing
but yea. gotta kick my ass into finishing the game. i want to see how it continues after all.
