TLKOE AU idea??

Just hear me out here, but imagine, an AU where Jack is Rezzoch, not related to them, not possessed, he IS Rezzoch, the being that that they see is another being, some cosmic terror looking to bring him back, and Jack/Rezzoch doesn't have bad intentions, he doesn't want to be this scary destroyer of worlds, who he's supposed to be, and he saw the humans and how kind they were due to their short lives and ran away, forming as a young child about 4 years old and is assumed to be an orphan, is given a name, and sent into the foster system, he doesn't remember that he's Rezzoch, and when the portals opened is when they finally found him and jumped the gun a bit opening portals everywhere, releasing a bunch of monsters, while Jack was off in the human dimension the cosmic terrors had appointed someone to act as Rezzoch to search for him while destroying and conquering dimensions, building up their own following and because they had conquered and destroyed so many dimensions they were assumed to be the strongest, meanwhile the actual Rezzoch is just eating stale Oreos and chips.

Just writing as I think here, I feel like this could be an amazing angst opportunity as well as a lot of silly stuff could happen too, so should this stay crack or should it become crack taken seriously?

My Tlkoe ocs backstory

Heart pounding, head spinning, the young boy ran toward the mossy pillar. The hunters were looking for him, and he needed a place to hide. Then, he remembered the spell his father gave to him before he and the boy's mother left this world. He set the circle down in between the pillars, and recited the words:

When the day turns into night,

Fear the spirit with no eyes

Her voice echoes through the trees

And she never hides, only seeks

I do not mind this evil posessor

Now Rezzoch may form the door

Then, there was a million rays of blue, nearly blinding the child. Lightning struck all around the door, thunder roaring louder than a lion. When he opened his eyes, he was greeted with a purple blue portal. He walked through.

"What is this we have here?" a deep voice spoke. "Perhaps a new warrior to help us." The young boy opened his light brown eyes to find a man, although his skin was purple. He was really tall, and pretty old. "Who are you?" asked the boy. "I am Thrull, " he answered. "I used to be a hunter of evil servants of Rezzoch the Ancient, but now I need help. Would you like to hunt down some monsters?"

"Yes, that sounds cool!" exclaimed the boy. "Well, since you have a huge scar on your face, " said Thrull, "you're soldier name shall be Stitches." The soldier smiled, and got right to training.

It began with a rift, monsters, and ancient horrors beyond our comprehension. However, tides always rise and fall. . .

New york, and a group is involved in an ambush with Evie, and two people decide to go to the metro to try and find something before evie causes it to collapse, trapping them in the rubble. They note someone coming towards them, Forger. He notes that they're not getting out of it alive due to where it landed. They are shocked when he said, you're here?! To which they say a pull made them come here. Just one ask, to make sure their daughter is alright and hands him a photo before passing. Forger turns to the deep, dark tunnel and rifts away.

After the opening credits, we cut to present time, set after book 3 and the interactive adventure (not needed viewing, but still canon) where we see the group prepare to face a beast and follow them as they do. During the fight, Jack and june are both separated in a sewer network. Jack manages to get above ground, but evie manages to take the louisville slugger from him. June briefly was stunned by some unknown indigo light before getting up and calling for help, more so after someone's walking to her. In panic, she kicks him, but is unfazed as he proceeds to becon a hug with a "I'm so sorry" look because it was june's parents. Forger says that they felt or saw something lead them to New york, and he did know her parents whilst she was young. He introduces his real name to her (lloyd) and that her parents sent him to ensure the safety of their daughter. June says that her group can handle this world, much to Lloyd's worry. They regroup, and they exchange events to which commotion ensues and bardle warns the group that Lloyd's powers are highly dangerous and powerful, only known to him once before. However, they need to find evie and Jack's going through denial over his baseball bat when June decides to subtly remind him a baseball bat compared to living things are not on the same level.

Bardle manages to track evie to a lab, and they travel there. Lloyd rides on the back, but singularity informs him that agents are tracking deviation from other forces. The lab is grimy and overgrown but holds a light blue light flicker, leading towards her. Luckily, she's not around, but Jack really wants his slugger and rushes in, alerting her to enter, so Jack has to be stealthy now. He hears evie talk about bringing it to nyc immediately and mentioned the slugger has powers, untapped for at least two centuries from carbon dating. Evie leaves, and Jack gets mad with the team and Lloyd for not using his powers, to which he casually says it's related to the 'eternal wheels' some call it as. Amongst this argument, june just breaks down and runs away, with quint chasing after her. Quint consols june as best he can, but june questions how she's safe when everyone's arguing and that if she can't prove it, Lloyd is to whisk her elsewhere on her parents' behalf. Jack blurts out the slugger has powers, and Lloyd is very, very worried. Even bardle is worried. Apparently, that's what the agents were tracking, and using the slugger could lead to dangerous problems.

To reach Nyc, Lloyd and bardle rift them over, Lloyd out last seeing the same light elsewhere. Other survivors greet them during a mission, and our team helps them out before Jack says they need to find evie. They point to a tower in the distance, and everyone moves there. June mentions a headache slowly building, something no one can pinpoint. Inside the tower is a ferocious horde which the nyc survivors take care of, so they can reach evie who's speaking rezzoch's language. Nearly ready, she fends off the group as Lloyd and bardle try and work out the plan. Eventually, they fail and it summons Rezzoch as thrull and whoops the team, bardle holding evie and Lloyd holding thrull by some miracle, to which evie responds in an ancient language that really freaks him out that isn't rezzoch or his powers one. Before he's punched out, June in a dazed state lumbers towards them and blocks the hit with an efficient full fist. Surprised, she tells the team that being flung hard into a wall caused the headache to stop, and the indigo light she saw 'gave her inheritance'. The group tries to dislodge the baseball bat to no avail, which allows a very devastating event to begin and thrull escaping through the tear. They knock evie to the nyc group to deal with. The tear continues to grow, emanating bright orange light as Lloyd is informed of singularity trying to call him that maybe putting immense power in a baseball bat was a bad idea, but had to be done after she had to use uncontrollable power with a certain pig trend.

Bardle tells Lloyd that someone needs to close it using fusion, something Lloyd can't do as the only time he did it nearly caused more damage due to the strain it took on him, temporarily. Lloyd tells bardle that zero fusion is dangerous as not even he knows where paradigm is. Likely will tear him apart like the imagined. Bardle still accepts and tries to close it before disappearing, but he can not, making a despair fall heavy. Lloyd says he has to go, but the group tell him that if he can channel energies like that and live, can't he do something else? So, as it grows more intense, Lloyd channels the energy into a storage sphere that wraps around the tower, with rover sad that bardle's gone. With whispers and a command, he summons his armor and transports them elsewhere in the omniverse. Where to?

(I've heard rumors of a live action, so I'm thinking this and what's next will lead into it).

Outright Games and Stage Clear Studios are releasing a zombie and monster action game titled The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom, based on the series. Players will gear up as Jack, Quint, June, and Dirk to search for the missing pieces of the Staff of Doom before Malondre, Queen of the Slime Monsters gets ahold of it and summons Rezzoch the Ancient, Destructor of Worlds.

The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Spring 2021.
