“You’re not from around here... are you?” The girl’s voice was soft, but not timid. She watched the newcomer with one cautious eye, the other covered by a white eye-patch. 

She paused. “You have been wandering around for some time now. At least... that’s what it seems like.” Really, there wasn’t anything SUPER unusual about the stranger. Mei just didn’t recognize him. She tilted her head just slightly to the side as she awaited a response.

Haru was very concerned for her cooking buddy. She could certainly understand the need to stay up late to try out a new recipe. She loved to venture on culinary escapades, so she couldn’t judge him for that. Still, this is this, and that is that. “Yes, you should get some rest when you can. Why don’t you take a nap or something? Haru can wake you up later.” They were currently outside, so it wasn’t like he could just snuggle into a bed and fall asleep, but maybe he could take a short nap? It wasn’t too unheard of for someone to take a nap at a park.

                    she  never  knew  what  to  do  during  her  days  off.  or  rather  ,  she  normally  went  to  the  gym  to  do  some  extra  training  but  she  was  currently  banned  from  doing  it  by  her  own  team    (  because  days  off  were  meant  to  be  spent  taking  a  break  from  things  related  to  fighting  ).  so  she  needed  to  find  something  else  that  would  be  interesting.  currently  ,  she  was  standing  in  front  of  a  baker  ,  staring  through  the  glass  where  the  pastries  were  being  displayed.  on  the  list  of  things  to  do  on  your  day  off  ,  given  to  her  by  a  member  of  the  snow  lotus  ,  buying  something  sweet  to  eat  was  on  there.  the  only  problem  was    (  . . .  )      ❝  which  one  should  i  buy  ?  ❞

DID SHE LAUGH? Faint though it might have been, the sound bubbled from her throat in the silence that followed his refusal. Once the sound had faded away into little more than echoes, she tilted her head slightly to the side, "What, you don't believe me...?"

ABSOLUTELY NOT, he'd said. Was his world view really so small as to not believe her when she actually spoke the truth, or would she need to show him lies? "I would think someone like you wouldn't be so quick to... reject something like this." The weapon at her side spins aimlessly in her hold, her posturing far from  threat. "What do you believe, then?"

“Why...did you save me...?”

There is no point to keep living, right? Miu cannot even remember since when this Tokyo city that she has been living in has been this chaotic. She was only doing her job as an idol, before the next day everyone turns monstrous. She does not know where her friends are, nor her families--the only reason of her to keep living. At this point, she does not mind if she is devoured by the monsters--who used to be humans.

Heck, she does not even know that she is worth saving at all. She is probably not secure from the viruses as well. Who knows, she might have been infected too? And in no time, she will turn into one of them as well.

Yet, this man saved her when she already resigns herself to her fate. Why would he do that? It is not like she can be of help if she is saved. She cannot fight, she cannot protect herself, she is not strong like him, she does not have any purpose to keep on living.

She is just an ordinary girl. A burden.

🍳 - A food related headcanon

as mentioned in earlier posts, saria can cook. she’s not restaurant level good at cooking, but she manages well enough to supply her own meals on a frequent basis. (and cook for other members of rhine when she’s up for it.) she can recognize when certain vegetables are right for cooking and can crack an egg open with one hand. her time outside of rhine might have actually dulled her ability to cook as she was less inspired to do so.

rather, most of her cooking had been quite bland before she had started investing in it as she’d grown close to ifrit and silence. mayer likely got to try all the ‘mistakes’ she’d made whether because she’d snag some of it herself or saria offering. even then, these ‘mistakes’ were more because it just didn’t look aesthetically pleasing as she wanted than having a bad taste.

The Doctor finally got to take off her clothes that were covering her whole body. It was a time to breathe out and change into a more comfortable attire. It was quiet today in Rhodes Island, but the paperwork she had to do for Kal'tsit's sake were making her get a migraine just thinking about it. Thankfully, her responsible (and scared) side told her: I don't want the cat lady to scratch my eyes out. It was more for comedic relief, but she respected DR. Kal'tsit's work; thus, settling down after changing. Zarina didn't even notice that she started to doze off once she finished the good ninety percent of the needed work for the next several days. It seemed like her skills were still at her side, even if she didn't remember how she got them. She didn't even know how old she was - fun fact. However, what brought her out of her sleep was the opening door.

"Amiya, sorry, I'm gonna be the---" Yet the woman stopped herself mid-sentence as she saw who actually was standing there. The blonde immediately straightened up as she waved at the young Operator, clearly curious to see his face. They haven't talked much since he joined, but Zarina's tasks were taking away so much time from her. "Rentaro. Don't stand there like a stranger, come in. Sorry, I thought you were Amiya. Want some tea or coffee? I'm almost done with my work, so I'd love some company."

More like she needed some company or she'd go insane in this quietness.

I wish there were more trigger happy havoc rpers. don’t get me wrong �� I do honestly love v3 ( except that ending, fuck that ending I hate it ) and I genuinely love seeing the different spins everyone puts on the characters but I feel so lost in the sway sometimes. kyouko’s already a pretty hard muse to vibe with, and a lot of the time I’m just not sure how to toss her at v3 characters. 

may just be my old days nostalgia talking, and everything looks better through rose colored glasses but I miss the days when I could write kyouko’s relationships with her own classmates.

I dunno. I want more school days shenanigans, I guess.

Haru was having one of those rare moments when she started to feel sad for herself. They usually didn’t last very long because of the way her personality was. It was much too boring to spend a perfectly good day being sad! Rentaro just happened to catch her during her sad moment is all. 

“Thank you, Haru feels better hearing that.” No matter who you were, knowing that you were important to someone was always a pleasant thing to hear. It was one of Haru’s hidden worries that she was replaceable, or discardable, so hearing that she’s irreplaceable was very comforting to her. “Haru thinks of you as an important friend as well-desu.”

THE GIRL TURNS toward the voice, one who didn't so much seem to be speaking to her so much as to himself -- or out into the universe. Sure enough, almost as suddenly as his voice had spoken up, the rain began to fall. What had been only the faintest sprinkling beforehand turned into the sort of downpour one might have expected in the early summer or late spring.

With a soft smile, Chrome steps out from under the bus shelter and holds her hands out, palms facing the sky -- before turning her face up to the gray. "I like the rain... It feels like it's going to take away all your problems."
