That ghoul got me like no others. Red and him have such a fun dynamic to write about.

The "I don't take any of this apocalypse seriously" person vs "Everything needs to be taken seriously otherwise you will die" person.

Red can't take anything seriously, that's usually what happens when you take away the threat of death from someone, so them travelling with Charon, who has seen death so many times and practically knows the grim reaper by name, is making them realise that not everyone is like them and they probably should be more careful with other people's lives.

They're also both monsters in their own rights, one more metaphorically than the other. Also, they're both pre-war fuckers who have probably seen the worst of the US military and government before it all went to shit and can bond on their shared hatred of it.

AAH I LOVE FALLOUT SO MUCH. Someone can rip this game universe out of my cold dead hands before i stop talking about it.
