Whooo!!! I've been sitting on this one a while. Okay so. First of all disclaimer that I did not make this in a bioessentialist way. Period =/= woman. Trans women are women. Trans men are men. And in fact I think this works on even more levels if watched through a trans lens.

Once, I attended a lecture analyzing Little Red Riding Hood through the lens of it being a story about getting your first period, and how the girl moves through childhood to adulthood. The wolf is the specter of sex, which makes sense if you've ever seen/listened to Into The Woods. The seed of that idea got planted, and then I watched a bunch of horror movies :4)

A lot of society AND obviously movies equate first period = becoming a woman = sensuality/sex = bad. And there are various ways the films I chose fight back against/embrace in order to deconstruct those tropes! Because obviously that correlation is. not true. But this amv is mostly about parents using the perceived threat of their children becoming adults against their children as a vector of abuse. (Not all of these movies have every beat of this in them, but I think they hang together in the same general shape. I have a million thoughts on each movie but that would make this pages long!!)

Buuut ofc it is about periods/puberty a little bit too :-) how puberty is a horror show, "becoming a woman" (whether you want to or not) is a horror show... and ofc how being trans or not your agab makes puberty even MORE of a horror show than it is anyway. Sometimes you become a woman and that's bad, sometimes you reject becoming a woman and that's good. sometimes you become a woman and that's good except everyone around you thinks it's bad. This is à propos my yesterday's post as well as a response of sorts to @missisjoker's suggestion that I elaborate on my "LL and ZYC would've been amazing BDSM partners" comment. So, a short BDSM headcanon and non-con talk, anyone with a trauma or uncomfortable with that may want to stop reading now.

Watched through the lens of a kinkster, FoF remains a fever dream. We get hints of pet play as well as several types of edge play, i.e., knife play, blood play, bondage, breath play and impact play, out of which LL seems to enjoy the last three the most. He indulges in both physical and mental BDSM, and he likes it rough (no light play for that guy, nope), and out of everyone he "plays" with, ZYC comes the closest to be able to give as good as he gets, even before becoming a demon (not to mention after). For ZYC's part, if it were RL I'd be urging him to run for the hills, but as it is a fictional story, we can enjoy him going from rightfully hating the non-consensual manhandling to seemingly enjoying at least parts of it (as the gifs illustrate).

So, in a post-canon universe where LL actually survived, and with the caveat that these two would have to have a very good talk (or several) on personal boundaries and enthusiastic and ongoing consent first -which I'm pretty sure ZYC would be able to swing very well - I can see them becoming each other's safe space while playing with pushing at each other's limits and having a jolly good time together, choking and beating the shit out of each other. (Ah, also I headcanon LL as a top unless the dynamic is right for switching, and ZYC as a full-on switch.)

Yandere Experiment: Lamb Fritter

Hey guys, I've been feeling depressed so I haven't been able to finish making my Yanmas posts, however here's a new oc to help feed my starving audience.

Lamb Fritter is a lab experiment creating a human hybrid with wolf and sheep DNA. Having fluffy white hair that trails off into gray fur like ends. He has black sclera and red eyes with the sheep lens. While it might have cute little lamb ears and a fluffy tail, it also has a pair of pointy wolf ears, sharp curved ram horns, and sharp canine teeth. Being a hybrid gives it super strength and speed, fast metabolism, heightened sight, smell, and hearing, and some other things.

Lamb Fritter was treated very bad by the scientists that created him, kept naked and poked and prodded like an animal despite its high intelligence. He was forced to eat a veggie diet which made the carnivore weaker and weaker.

One day the creature snapped and killed every scientist and guard in the building. Blood stained his white curls and his toned naked body. The poor creature ran away and hid in the dumpster behind a rundown diner in the middle of nowhere.

You were a waitperson at this diner, and you were taking out the trash thinking of what to make for dinner, perhaps lamb fritters. As you opened the dumpster you were attacked by a strong creature that pinned you to the asphalt. A large gash formed in the area the creature scratched on your arm.

You wince as you hear a menacing growl/bleat eyes blown wide with fear; this was your end. Murdered in the back of a crappy diner by some freak experiment. Until you heard sniffing and saw horizontal pupils blinking curiously at you.

Lamb Fritter looked at your eyes and sensed you were not evil like those people who kept him locked away, plus you weren't wearing a white coat.

You feel the creature licking your wound, remorse painted in his strangely endearing eyes. Perhaps sleep deprivation made your judgement murky because you guided the poor creature inside and threw an apron over its fully naked body (its genitals were freaking you out).

Lamb Fritter sat in an old booth seat and scarfed down the country fried steak you put in front of him, it was going to be your dinner, but the man seemed very hungry. It was almost cute how the wolf-sheep hybrid whined when the plate was empty, clearly he was still hungry.

Looks like you made a loyal friend who was abnormally strong and obeyed you no questions asked.

His favorite food is country fried steak not because he particularly likes it (he prefers his meat raw), but because he associates it with good things (like you).

Hates clothes with a burning passion, refuses to wear anything more than underwear (it's not like he'll be going outside anyways).

Amazing cuddler as he is warm and soft with strong arms to help you feel safe. He loves this gentle nighttime activity as he gets to hold you while you sleep. Likes to groom you as a good mate would do.

His little sheep tail wags when he's happy and he does a happy yip/bleat (only happens when it involves you).

Will block the door with his body every time you try to leave the house in hopes of you staying forever. Can be persuaded with sweet words and cuddles.

Very smart and picks up on words you mention and parrots them back to you. Happy bark/bleats when you ruffle his hair when you reward his smartness. Very fond of the phrase "I love you" and your name.

Being very smart it is able to pick up any task quickly and perfect it, it's the only way he can stave off boredom when you're gone.

Follows you everywhere in the house, insists on following you into the bathroom as well (you don't let him).

Hates the smell of others, especially other men. Will cling to you rubbing his scent all over you in hopes it will stick permanately

Will charge people and maul them if you let anyone into your nest (aka your house). Will also bring a body part up to you proudly and expects praise (look how well it defends you). He's territorial so it's best to not bring anyone home until that muzzle you ordered for him comes in the mail.

Feral unhinged beast to others and loyal submissive puppy to you.

“Throne” — an Even Joined Walls Fall Down Trailer

(In animatic script form)

Behold, I have used the powers of being Rora’s beta reader/co-conspirator/playlist-maker/back-up brain for good evil the promotion of her work!

Song for this trailer is “Throne” by Rival and Neoni. I completely skip over the first bridge and chorus, so keep that in mind.

Warning: Rora-Approved spoilers below! Proceed with caution!

For the first 23 seconds, the music audio is dampened, and the focus of the sound and visuals are on Tango and Jimmy in their apartment. Tango is sitting opposite of Jimmy at the table; Jimmy has his tablet open and is painting on it.

“Y’ever thought about getting married?”

“If you asked, I wouldn’t say no. But I haven’t thought much about it.”

“Well … think about it. Because if I’m gonna ask, I want to make sure it’s what you really want.”

“So you wanna go to war with me” plays in full volume, showing quick cuts of Tango suiting up in his hideout, ice crusting his fingers and changing his appearance from Tango-blond to Deepfrost-blue. His hand raises up with ice generating at the fingertips, dominating the camera before blasting the lens—

—Cutting to a massive bipedal rust-furred wolf, marching out of a wooded park and howling as “You're talking like you think you're royalty” plays. Its claws slash towards the camera, forcing another cut.

The scene shows a brightly-lit training room, choked with ice and snow. A visibly-younger Deepfrost is shown, teeth bared and furious at an equally-furious Joel, green lightning gathered around him as “You think that I'm afraid/But I don't break” plays, immediately cutting to a dark underground room, showing an older Deepfrost speaking to Arctic Fox.

“Why would someone snap and go berserk?” is asked by Deepfrost, with Fox answering “You did” as “I heard you question my stability” plays. A furious expression crosses Deepfrost’s face at this obvious parroting of the lies that followed his expulsion from the division.

“You think I’ll fall just like a guillotine” plays as the scene changes to the interior of the Poison Dart bar; the crowded and rowdy patrons pulling away and trying to avoid notice as Impulse strides inside and heads straight to the bar, not pausing in his steps, fully expecting everyone to get out of his way and being completely correct.

“But I am here to stay/Won't look away” plays as Sheriff leaps over gaps in buildings in pursuit of Deepfrost: a continuation of their cat-and-mouse game.

The scene cuts to the middle of the night as Deepfrost whirls around outside the arcade hideout, yelping and darting away as the wolf-monster lunges for him offscreen. “So you wanna be my enemy” plays as the lunge just barely misses.

The scene jumps to a park in early evening, with Tango and Jimmy sitting on a picnic blanket directly in front of each other. Tango shifts so he’s on one knee and opening a ring box to Jimmy as “You should have known l'd never kiss the ring” plays. The scene abruptly jumps forward — same location, but a few seconds later — showing Tango hastily disguising himself before icing over, as “Ice runs in my veins” plays —

And then jumps to a dark building, not abandoned but clearly filled with hostiles, hinted at by the cautious approach of Sheriff through its halls as “Won't play it safe” plays.

“I don't belong with your nobility” plays on a zoomed-in shot of two glasses being clinked together — a cocktail glass being held by a man’s hand in a black fingerless motorcycle glove, and a glass filled with red wine held by a woman’s well-manicured hand.

The camera pulls back to show the drinkers sitting opposite of each other on couches, a coffee table between them and both Impulse and False Symmetry completely relaxed and comfortable in the other’s presence. “What can you tell me about the Red King?” Impulse asks the Queen of Hearts as “Who died and made you king of anything?” plays.

“You think that I'm insane/That's your mistake” plays as the camera snaps back to Deepfrost and Arctic Fox. Fox’s eye glows red as Deepfrost angrily replies “You were there that day. You know damn well that’s not how it went.”

“Kingdoms rise and fall, I've come to take it all/I'll take it, I've come to take it” plays over a montage of division heroes — HoTGuY, CuTeGuY, Arctic Fox, and Sheriff — suiting up and being lined up together, quickly followed by “Kingdoms rise and fall, I've come to take it all/I'll take it all” as the Soup Group mobilizes: GeminiSlay and Blood Moon dropping down from a building from grapples and heading to Slay’s bike, before cutting to Impulse, taking a stance with fire in his hands and staring down an offscreen opponent.

“The storm is coming/So you best start running” plays as Deepfrost is shown frantically skating through tight alleyways and around sharp turns, clearly alarmed and afraid. “No, you can't control, feel it in my bones” plays as the camera jumps back to Arctic Fox with Deepfrost. Fox is frowning behind his mask, and he speaks:

“There might be something to that.” “To what?” “Doc isn’t the only villain that uses chemistry to get what he wants,” is spoken as “I'm coming for the, coming for the—“ plays.

Ten seconds of musical buildup plays, with the camera quickly cutting between split-second scenes:

Tango and Jimmy kissing in the park, with Jimmy wearing a ring on his left hand —

— a young Stephen Violett, smirking as he pulls the light in a dim room to his right hand, facing a wide-eyed man in a black bandana his age as his own eyes glow yellow —

— a young Deepfrost on a rooftop, standing opposite of Poultry Man, the latter much more relaxed than the former —

— Sheriff catching the arms of the wolf monster as he attempts to swipe at him —

— and the flashes stop on Deepfrost, eyes and chest glowing as a Sonic Shriek erupts from him towards an offscreen-opponent.

Right where the drop would be, the music stops completely, and the screen goes black. A voice never heard before asks suspiciously “Who are you, and what do you want?”

The camera now shows a man in an immaculate black and white suit, with a red tie and silver cufflinks. The thick black mustache on his face is a dead giveaway.

“You can call me Mumbo Jumbo” is said, immediately followed by the final line: “I'm coming for the throne.”

Smash to black, only broken by the title written in silver letters: Even Joined Walls Fall Down

teeth anon how does it feel to be insane,

anyway i cheaked and beat eater meiko also has teeth on her top and bottom jaw . rin and shiho have fangs in their twighlight parade cards. shiho also has teeth in her wolf card. i didnt notice any other women teeth though.

also tsukasa doesnt have teeth sometimes but the fact is he useally does have teeth in basically every other card where his mouth is wide open. if anything kaito and len have far less consistant teeth

also for what its worth mizuki doesnt have teeth

The Twilight Parade and Halloween cards I think are meant to be cosplay fangs because Shiho and WxS Rin aren’t depicted with fangs outisde of those monster type costumes (I’ve got a post about fangs queued for later in the month so you’ll be seeing this again later). Other than that this is pretty interesting.

I reckon it might be an artist thing. Like how the red line around Rui’s eyes isn’t consistent between being eyeliner or eyelash, or Airi’s fangs switching sides. Gonna assume that the official style guide is teeth for dudes and no teeth for girls but some artists just don’t follow that if they think the card looks better with/without them.

IT HAPPENED AT THE ART MUSEUM

THE MCMASTER MUSEUM OF ART HAD BROUGHT INTO ITS HALLS, FOR A FEW BRIEF DAYS, AN EXHIBITION OF TRADITIONAL POPULAR ART FROM BRAZIL: 

VARIED STATUES, IN DIFFERENT SIZES, CARVED IN WOOD OR SCULPTED IN CLAY, OF FEROCIOUS LOOKING FIGURES, MIXTURE OF MAMMALS AND REPTILES, KNOWN AS CARRANCAS .

BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHS SHOWED THOSE FIGURES ORIGINALLY INHABITED THE BOW OF BOATS, WITH TEXT CANVAS ACCOMPANYING THE STATUES AND PHOTOGRAPHS EXPLAINING THEY WERE A PROTECTION AGAINST MONSTERS AND SPIRITS THAT LEGENDS TOLD HAUNTED THE SÃO FRANCISCO RIVER AND COULD TURN THE BOATS UPSIDE DOWN, AND IDENTIFIED HOW OLD WAS A CERTAIN PIECE, WHO SCULPTED IT, AND WHICH OF THE FIVE STATES BY WHICH THE SÃO FRANCISCO RIVER FLOWED CAMED DETERMINED PIECE AND PHOTOGRAPH: MINAS GERAIS IN THE SOUTHEAST , BAHIA, PERNAMBUCO, ALAGOAS OR SERGIPE IN THE NORTHEAST.

AMONG THE PEOPLE WHO WATCHED THE EXHIBITION WITH ADMIRATION, THERE WAS A YOUNG WOMAN IN HER LATE TWENTIES: SHE HAD A LONG FACE, SHORT, FEATHERED HAIR COLORED AUBURN BROWN, WITH A BRONZE TINT TO THE SHADOW.

SHE WAS WEARING A YELLOW JUMPSUIT, A PAIR OF WHITE TENIS, AND FRAMING HER EYES WAS A PAIR LIGHT OF SILVER OVAL GLASSES: WHILE THE RIGHT EYE WAS VISIBLE, SHOWING A BRIGHT GREEN IRIS, THE LEFT EYE WAS COVERED  BEHIND A ONE SIDE BLACKED OUT LENS. AND SHE HELD A METAL WALKING CANE.

CAREFULLY THIS YOUNG WOMAN MOVED THROUGH THE EXHIBITION, OBSERVING THE ARTWORKS, INTRIGUED BY THEIR HISTORY AND THEIR CULTURAL MEANING …

AND THEN, ANOTHER VISITOR OF THE MUSEUM CAUGHT HER ATTENTION AMIDST THE CARRANCAS:

LOOKING TO BE IN THEIR MID THIRTIES, THEIR LARGE, MUSCULAR BUILD BODY WAS COVERED FROM FOREHEAD TO TOE IN LONG, FUZZY BLUE FUR, WHILE THE HAIR THAT COVERED THEIR HEAD, WITH FLARED OUT EDGES CUT AND COMBED IN A WAY REMINISCENT OF WOLF'S EARS OR OF HORNS, ALONG WITH THE MUTTON CHOPS AND CHIN STRAP BEARD THAT FRAMED THEIR FACE, WERE IN A DARKER SHADE OF BLUE. 

THEIR FACE WAS COMPLEMENTED BY POINTY EARS, THICK BLACK EYEBROWS AND BLACK EYELIDS, BRIGHT YELLOW EYE PUPILS AND BLUE IRISES, A FLATTENED NOSE WITH A FELINE MUZZLE, AND A SMILE THAT REVEALED A FULL SET OF FANGED TEETH. 

THEIR ARMS WERE RELATIVELY LONG, THEIR GARGANTUAN HANDS PRESENTED SHARP CLAW-LIKE NAILS ON THEIR FINGERS,  AND THEIR BAREFOOT FEET REVEALED OPPOSABLE GRASPING THUMBS BEHIND EACH OF THEIR HEELS ... 

THAT VISITOR WAS DRESSED IN SIMPLE DARK RED PANTS AND A ORANGE SHIRT OF LIGHT FABRIC, AND ALSO WORE GLASSES, BUT THE FRAMES OF THEIRS WERE ROUND, LARGE AND IN THE COLOR RED.

IT WAS LIKE IF ONE OF THE CARRANCAS HAD COME TO LIFE, AND THE YOUNG WOMAN FELT COMPELLED TO TALK WITH THEM, AND SEE IF SHE WASN’T DREAMING …

“AREN’T THEY BEAUTIFUL? ”

THE TALL, BLUE FURRED PERSON HEARD A VOICE ASKING, AND TURNED TO SEE IF SOMEONE WAS TALKING TO THEM. THEY WERE SURPRISED TO FIND A LADY LOOKING AT HIM, SMILING WITH CURIOSITY. BUT DIDN’T REACT WITH SHINESS. 

INSTEAD, THEY ANSWERED:

“YOU ARE THE FIRST PERSON TO TELL ME YOU FIND THE SCULPTURES BEAUTIFUL. NORMALLY, ONE WOULD THINK OF THEM AS SCARY. I THOUGHT OF THEM AS FUNNY. ”

“I  HOPE THE MONSTERS AND SPIRITS OF THE LEGENDS DIDN’T LAUGH AT THE STATUES. IT JUST WOULD MEAN THEY FAIL THEIR FUNCTION IN PROTECTING THE BOATMEN. ”

“BUT WHAT IF BY MAKING THE HAUNTINGS LAUGH, INSTEAD OF SCARING THEN AWAY, THE STATUES ENACTED A MORE EFFECTIVE FORM OF PROTECTION FOR THE BOATMEN IN THE SÃO FRANCISCO RIVER. ”

“THAT IS AN INTERESTING POINT OF VIEW… ”

“EXCUSE ME FOR CHANGING THE SUBJECT A BIT, BUT I NOTICED THAT YOUR ACCENT DOESN’T SOUND LOCAL … ARE YOU A TOURIST FROM THE UNITED STATES AS WELL? ”

“WELL, YOU’RE RIGHT IN GUESSING I WAS BORN IN THE UNITED STATES, BUT I’M NOT A TOURIST. I LIVE HERE IN CANADA NOW. ”

“INTERESTING… WHERE IN THE US YOU CAME FROM?”

“ MISSOURI. ”

“ A MIDWESTERNER! I’M FROM ILLINOIS! ”

“WE WERE NEIGHBORS! WELL … ALMOST! ”

“WHO WOULD IMAGINE TWO PEOPLE FROM THE AMERICAN MIDWEST WOULD MEET UP NORTH! ”

THE YOUNG WOMAN WAS ENJOYING THAT CONVERSATION, AND OFFERED A HAND FOR HER FRIENDLY NEW ACQUAINTANCE TO SHAKE. 

“I’M CARLY. ”

THEY TOOK HER HAND AND SHOOK IT EAGERLY:

“HENRY, BUT YOU CAN CALL ME HANK.”

THE TWO RELEASED THE HANDSHAKE, AND WALKED MORE TROUGH THE EXHIBITION, CONTINUING TO TALK, EXCITED. 

THEN, CHEEKS BLUSHING, A BIT NERVOUS, HANK ASKED CARLY:

“WELL … IF YOU AREN’T BUSY THE REST OF THE EVENING, WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO FOR SOME TEA OR COFFEE? ” 

“ACTUALLY, THERE’S A PLACE ON THE NEXT CLOSE TOWN THAT IS BOTH A DINOSAUR THEMED AMUSEMENT PARK AND A BARBEQUE RESTAURANT. HAVE YOU VISITED IT YET? ” 

“I HAVEN’T! IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL IF YOU SHOWED ME. ”

CARLY OFFERED THEM HER ARM.

“SHALL WE? ”

HE TOOK IT, AND THEY WALKED TOGETHER OUT OF THE MUSEUM.
