Thoughts journal Ninjago season 13!! 🖤🖤 (4/4)

Here we are, at the end of just another season of Ninjago! And I've gotta say, until now it has been very good, I think I'm liking this season better than Prime Empire and Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu. I liked them too, but this one feels more complete and deep, also LILLY GOT A BACKSTORY HECK YEAH 😍😍

Prime Empire had one really great ending, so I'm very curious how this season will conclude! Spinjitzu burst? Some last minute plot twist? Cole and Vania confirmed...? 🙄

THE DARKEST HOUR

So I'm guessing the guys aren't doing too good at the moment 😅

I know this is kind of a tense situation, but honestly Kai looking so confused at having to lead cracks me up 😂 "Do I have to say it? Is that what being in charge means?"

I have no words, that was such an obvious reference in full Zane style so in character, I have tears. Beautiful 🤣🤣

Also they all look SO COOL 💚💙❤🤍

My ninja babies fighting together screaming NINJA-GOO!! Really this season feels like we're back in the old days, so cool! And they are so in sync, Kai lifting Lloyd up and Zane pushing others away and I LOVE THE FIGHTING ANIMATIONS 🤩

Poor Skull dude, he's trying to do his big bad guy monologue and he keeps getting interrupted 😂

It was cute that both tribes immediately refused to surrender, not sure if it was for pride or they actually care about their new ninja friends, but it was nice

Aahh, near death life experiences, the best way to elicit teamwork 👍 Nice scene, nice cute scene

Nnnnnyyyggg, Lloyd, that's the sacrifice look right there 😱 At least they just turned themselves in peacefully after reuniting the tribes... aaand of course he was lying, I hate that Skull dude 👿👿

Heeeeeyy, Wu back in business! I kinda missed him a bit taking control of the situation, it used to be him because he was the master. It really is a jump into the past this season! 🤩🤩

Sure let's go with the explosive cart, not like Cole and the other ninja haven't been piloting a falling apart rocket back to Earth before 🤷‍♀️

A Mech on rolleskates, why not? Does Cole even know how to go on those though? He was already out of the Tournament of Elements during Chen's Thunder Blade so I don't really know...

Lolz the monster was actually waiting staring at the wall, guess you don't get much fun in this mine 😅

I guess we're doing this 😅 Gonna be honest, this is the first very evident sweet look I see from these two. I like Vania, a lot, but another classic love interest? Uuuuhhh, Idk, Imma see the rest of the season and see what happens 🤷‍♀️

A baby dragon on a giant spider, one of my favorite things ever on one thing I fear... I'll let it pass just because Adam is a good boy 🕷🕷🕷

Such a special little snowflake 😘 Evil monologue, we've been going for 13 seasons now with various specials and a movie, we heard it already 🤷‍♀️

Also the reveal, and he's all "Your friend Cole is dead" and Lloyd "That's what they all say, buddy" 👌👌

I'm all for Cole's personal team, they should do missions together, like Jay's team in Skybound!... that technically never happened, BUT STILL COOL 🖤💙🖤💙

Oh with a title like this, it's a given that I will not survive. Oh boy, here goes, the FINALE!

Chaos, chaos, beautiful dragon of death and distraction, also gently reminder that Mino is also a very good boy 💕 Are the skeletons connected to the skull? Are they gonna stop reform when Cole defeats the Skull Sorcerer?

The swords are not actually magical? Huh, first weapon in this show that turns out to be a fluke, apart maybe the Dragon Armor of the Firstborne... that one stayed intact at least 😅

Okay, since there weren't evident references to Nexo Knights this season, can I pretend Fungus shooting fireworks is one? Merlok used to do that almost at every season finale... IMMA PRETEND 🙃

She is so adorable, I really love her. Wished we've seen more of her bond with her father, it felt a little easy her giving up on him. Idk, Sky and Chen didn't have that much of a bond but she struggled a lot! But she is super cool and cute, I ADORE her 💕

This sounds like a pretty good experience for Lloyd who FINALLY spent a season without being scarred for life!!! He even met a princess who didn't plan his death!!! Montgomery things are getting better 💚

Well, that surprised me, I guess Cole and Vania like each other but not heavily? Just a very light mood, like they care a lot but no other step further. I'm very happy about this choice, you can see it as a couple if you want, but you can also say they are just good friends. Nice 👍

Oh no, Wu got his midlife crisis, SOMEBODY STOPS HIM 😱

Wherever the wind will take them okay, wherever the producers will decide to torture them 😗

Overall, great finale! 😁

FINAL THOUGHTS

I think I enjoyed Prime Empire's finale more than this one, but this season with all of its episodes was absolutely AMAZING 🖤

The Skull Sorcerer wasn't necessarily a bad villain, but the story kinda went into another direction in my opinion so his part wasn't fundamental. Which isn't a bad thing for me, it's actually new and exciting see the attention to the story instead of the villain, and I did enjoy how they made fun of how cliche he was being 😂

Vania was GREAT. Wished we had more time with her father to really establish what kind of bond they had, but overall I loved her, new best girl acquired 💛💛💛

FREAKING ROCK MOM!! FREAKING LILLY!! I'm so emotional just thinking about this family, omg, THIS is the content I want for Ninjago! Impactful, that makes sense, connected to the heart that makes you so much closer to a character! Finally the Rock family is getting more complex 🖤

I think this season really gave Cole justice, we got her mom's story, we've got him leading a team again, we've got him with a cool new power! 😍😍

For the other ninja it was okay, I really liked the shenanigans with the tribes and the cultures were really fun to explore. Was kinda like a side quest and for me didn't bring that much to the main story, but it was fun and it's fair, Cole had all the attention he deserved 👌

FIGHTING ANIMATION OMG HECK FREAKING YEAH 10/NINJA-GOOOO ❤💚💙🖤🤍🌊

Beautiful designs for the characters, in particular the Shintaro citizens, and also wonderful backgrounds and sceneries, that I thought were starting to lack but here seems much nicer to look at 🤩

What can I say? Ninjago still knows how to mess with my heart, and I'm so very happy about it. I think the so wanted Cole season was definitely worth it 🖤🖤🖤

Now, I heard voices about a possible Nya season... ABSOLUTELY YES, YES TO EVERYTHING, QUEEN GETTING HER OWN SEASON YES YES YES!!! 😍😍😍🌊🌊🌊 Besides that apparently Maya will come back, which is a dream coming true, if they give Nya the same attention they gave to Cole this season, I will be happy 😊

Notes: The story is set in 2001, which would make Helms 27 and Kirby 31. This story also blends Kayfabe and Reality. Certain people speak in different colours, Mainly: Helms is Green. Kirby is Orange. Kane is Red. Undertaker is Purple. Big Show is Blue.

"I know Show probably has eternal dibs, but would you like to travel with me between places?"

"Only if I'm allowed to annoy you with weird questions and stories from my past."

"There's no annoyance. Not if it's you."

"Then I'd rather travel with you than Show, cause he's always telling me to shut up so he can focus."

"Where's the fun in that?"

Kirby smirks, "there's no fun in it, not for me. I try to sing along with the radio, he tells me to hush, I try and ask him if he wants to get lunch or something to eat, he says," Kirby takes a deep breath in before letting Helms hear her nearly spot-on Big Show impression, "not now Kirby, I'm trying to focus."

Helms nearly snorts with laughter at the impression. "You'd think a big guy like that would want all the food he could get.'

"You would assume so, mon ange, you would assume so." Kirby sighs, yawning mid-sentence.

"I like that name..." he murmurs, keeping his voice low to not disturb her too much.

By the time they reach the hotel Kirby's bordering on falling asleep.

Helms hates to do it, but he nudges Kirby a little. "We're here, sweetheart."

Kirby wakes up slowly, "I love you, mon ange." She whispers as she climbs out of the car.

"I love you too. Always will."

Kirby, with her heels in hand, walks towards the elevator and presses the button.

Helms has his arm around her the whole way, making sure she isn't too tired or drunk to walk properly.

The elevator doors creak open and they step inside, Kirby sees the opportunity for a joke and takes it, "your room or mine?"

"Well, we've already defiled mine, may as well keep up the streak."

"What a devilish thing to say, mon ange." Kirby teases as she presses the button for the fourth floor.

"You're dating a bad boy. I got into a bar fight tonight and everything."

"You will never convince me of that, Hurricane."

"You can at least admit I'm tough."

"You're very tough, I will agree with you on that."

The elevator doors creak open again, letting them out onto the forth floor.

"And you're incredibly tough too."

Kirby heads to her room, opening the door and walking into the bathroom, "I'll be with you in ten minutes"

"I'll be ready and waiting."

Kirby takes the next ten minutes to freshen up, remove her makeup and get undressed.

Helms takes a few minutes to ponder what exactly he could do before getting an idea and hustling to the bathroom and starting to prepare his brilliant scheme.

When Kirby finishes her nightly routine, she splashes her face with water, drying off before stepping out of the bathroom completely nude.

Helms has been drawing a warm bath, complete with plenty of bubbles as well as warming towels. He's got plans of giving Kirby a mini spa evening with any massage she wants.

Kirby sighs, sitting on the edge of the bed, reaching for her sketchbook in her bag and turning to the portrait of Helms.

As he steps back from the bath and admires his handiwork, he remembers the fruit he'd kept left over from their meal earlier. A perfect small assortment that had been chilling in the fridge for a few hours.

Kirby pulls out a pencil, adding to the portrait, going over sections and making them darker and more refined.

He eventually decides he's satisfied with his work and sits on the bed to wait.

Kirby casually starts singing to herself, (Crash into me by the Dave Matthews Band) as she draws, pausing for a moment to wonder aloud, "what is Helms thinking, why does he like me so much, it's not like I'm any use to him?"

Helms is flat on his back, daydreaming about Kirby quietly. Going through the events of the day in his mind and enjoying them all over again.

Kirby carefully rips the page from her sketchbook, placing it on the bed as she dresses in some black silk pyjamas and decides to give the portrait to Helms, picking it up and heading to search for the smaller man.

He's almost starting to wonder where she is by the time she knocks at the door and he pops up immediately to answer.

"Helms?" She asks, right before the door opens, she looks at him for a moment in awe of his handsome features before remembering to hand him the portrait.

"For me?" He asks softly, deeply touched by the gesture.

"I drew it when I was in the café because I couldn't get you out of my mind." She admits, blushing a rosy pink

"Kirby, it's fantastic." He looks over the lines, almost too in awe to hold the page.

"I was going to keep it in my sketchbook but thought I might as well give it to you. Can I come in, people are staring at me from the other end of the hall." Kirby whispers, her blush going from pink to red

"Of course, of course." He stands back to let her in. "And I don't mean this in a forward way, but please strip down and go into the bathroom."

"Uhm, okay..." Kirby steps into the room before quickly undressing and heading into the bathroom and taking in Helms' handiwork, "oh my goodness, I love you, so much." Kirby whispers, in awe.

"Just for you, sweetheart. A soak, I've got some towels and these hands are ready to massage."

Kirby pulls Helms into a tight hug, before letting him go and whispering, "Sorry, I got a bit overexcited."

"Never apologize for hugging me. It's the greatest feeling of all time."

Kirby slowly climbs into the bath, stretching out as much as she can, "I've never been treated like this before, but I love you and I love everything you do for me," Kirby manages to stop herself before she starts rambling.

"I love you too. It's why I do what I do."

"I feel like a princess." Kirby murmurs.

"You are. You're my princess. I'm gonna make it my mission to treat you like one every single day."

Kirby smiles, a genuine smile of happiness and attempts to hide her face in her hands but stops herself just before she does, she looks up at Helms, "I don't know how to thank you, I feel like I should, but I don't know how."

"You're thanking me just by existing. By being you. I love you. You being here and being with me is all I ever am going to need out of life." He takes her hands gently, sitting down beside the tub. "If society didn't say we should wait at least a few months, I would propose to you here and now."

Kirby lets out a gentle laugh, "so you're going to wait a couple months and then ask me to be your 'blushing bride'?" She half-jokes.

"Only if you need that time. Otherwise, I'll find a ring wherever I need to and propose to you before dawn."

"Helms, if I said today was the start of the best part of my life, what would you think?" Kirby asks, keeping him eye-to-eye with her.

"I'd think I need to track down some late-night jewellers."

"Helms, I don't care about fancy jewellery, I'd be fine if you gave me a Green Lantern ring for all I care. I just, I want to know that this is all ..." she searches for the right word "... real, that you aren't like the other men, and ladies, who have tried to get me to love them."

"Can you hold that thought for just a moment?" He grins, standing to dash out to his luggage. It takes a few moments of hunting that Kirby, can't see, but he returns with his hands behind his back as he gets down on one knee and takes her hand gently. "This is real. These are the realest feelings I've ever felt in my life. Every moment with you is joy and every moment apart is agony. I don't ever want to lose you from my life." He pulls out his other hand from behind his back, clutching a little plastic green lantern replica ring. "So will you marry me?"

"Oh ... my ..." Kirby is left speechless for a moment, tears threatening to fall, she gets out of the bath and pulls Helms into a kiss by his face, parting just enough to whisper a gentle but meaningful, "yes" against his lips.

He's almost crying joyful tears as he slides the ring onto her finger. "And just to keep this moment happy, don't ask me why I've got that in my luggage until later, okay?" He whispers, chuckling.

Kirby smirks, taking a look at the man she's just agreed to marry before speaking, "I know some people who would call premarital sex a sin, but I don't think it is when it's with your one, true love. Tu es mon véritable amour."

"And you're mine." He smiles, his eyes a little wet. "This has been my dream since I met you. I can't believe it's real."

"I know I say a lot of mean things about myself, but I mean this, you make me feel like I am beautiful and strong and I swear by the gods above, I will never leave you, ever. Regardless of how many times the Hardy's make me want to kill them or if Kane gets on my nerves, you are the one constant in my life, from now until the end of time itself." Kirby states, wiping away tears from her eyes.

"I'm all yours and you're all mine."

"I need to dry off, and get back to my hotel room, and..." Kirby starts rambling, her mind pacing at a million miles an hour.

"Later. Later, okay?" He murmurs, putting his hands on her shoulders to calm her down. "Don't worry about anything tonight. Tonight is for us."

Kirby closes her eyes, her body wavering slightly as she tries to calm down, "Helms, I love you, but I really need to sit down." She murmurs.

"I know. Bed's open and damn comfy."

Kirby grabs one of the towels, wrapping it around herself and heading, more accurately stumbling, towards the bed, she almost falls over but is caught by Helms.

He lies her down. "Are you okay? The steam wasn't too much, was it?"

"I'm just, I'm overwhelmed, not anything bad, just a lot of emotion in a short amount of time." Kirby reassures him.

"Probably should have gone a bit slower than hook-up to engaged in one day, hmm?" He chuckles.

"I wouldn't have changed a single thing about today. Kinda wish you would kiss me right now though." Kirby jokes back.

Helms leans down and kisses her deeply, hardly able to keep from smiling.

Kirby weaves one hand around his back and into his hair, gently biting at Helms' lower lip.

"Love when you play with my hair like that..."

"I thought you might, Green Lantern."

"Can't help it. Love being touched by you."

Kirby smirks, before teasing him, "do you mind if I roll us over?"

"Wanna be on top?"

"It would be a pleasure."

"Then roll away, sweetheart."

Kirby flips their position, making sure her legs are either side of Helms' and removes the towel, uncovering her nude body.

He makes a small noise of want as he looks her over.

Kirby slowly lowers herself to kiss him, placing her elbows either side of his head, gently biting his lower lip and grinding at his groin.

He's almost painfully hard as she grinds on him.

Kirby moans into the kiss, feeling the bulge of his crotch press into her, she stops grinding for a moment and moves one arm to Helms' crotch, undoing his jeans, her lips part as she moans into the kiss, allowing him just enough space to slip his tongue into her mouth.
