“I’m no Hollywood scenario writer, but I know what the end of this story should be. Right Robert? Right Gloria?”
“Wrong.”

0:18 Dean brings up Jerry's name. As he often did. Just Jerry. There was no need to specify the surname. Jerry for Dean was Jerry Lewis. And also for the audience.
3:12 Red Buttons calls Dean by Bubbie's first name (and we all know WHO called Dean that all the time).
3:53 Bubbie again. Finally Red Buttons equals Jerry's boxing sketch in "Sailor Beware". I combined the two lines in this video.
The Dean and Red Buttons skit SCREAMS Jerry from start to finish. And in the end Red Buttons also makes a joke about Jeanne. Right? And Dean looks (or pretends) to be embarrassed? This is 1967/1968/1969… and by 1967 Dean and Jeanne were living apart at home and, publicly, Dean and Jerry were getting along again. In 1966/1967.

Just some scenario I’d find myself in
*red button ominously existing on a table* Me: I wanna touch it
Smart friend: don’t touch it
other friend: you should touch it
Smart friend: NOO! DO NOT ENCOURAGE THEM!!!
Me: *touches the button while the other two are arguing about touching the button*
