Ben Finn X HoBW is such a good ship oh my god.

I used to draw little comics about my fave HoBW and Ben’s relationship when I was a teenager; I’m pretty sure I still have that sketchbook somewhere at my Grandpa’s house and I think it would be fun to redraw some of it.

#mypost #fable 3 #her name was originally Olivia; but I changed it to Ophelia because I love that name #Olivia is my Main Sparrow’s daughter and Reaver is her biological father #she doesn’t know he’s really her dad until she finds a diary in the ‘Reaver’s Unmentionables’ quest and is promptly horrified #but she idolized him growing up; because after her birth Reaver couldn’t handle Sparrow’s puppet king being a shitty dad to HIS children #(Sparrow made a ‘No Strings Attached’ arrangement with Reaver for him to be the biological father of her heirs in secret; because she-#-wanted them to have a strong lineage; not the blood of the random Noble Fuckwit she married to secure her Rule #At first Reaver was pretty normal about it; but then Ophelia had the nerve to look like him #So he taught her to shoot; and would take her to festivals to undermine the puppet king #Sparrow allowed it under the condition that he not tell the children the truth #and also because she thought it was REALLY amusing how pissed the ‘king’ got about it; and she’d remind the pathetic worm that he has no-#-true power in Abion; and that under HER order; Reaver can do as he pleases #anyway Ophelia(especially after Sparrow died and both Reaver and Logan became reclusive) turned out VERY much like Reaver #which is really not something he’s proud of #Initially she’s TERRIFIED of her feelings for Ben(because she tends to lose everyone) but it’s actually Reaver who tells her to snap the-#-fuck out of it. She calls him out on being a hypocrite; and he tells her the truth about how her mother died in his arms #He had begged Sparrow not to die; told her he loved her; and her last words were ‘No you don’t.’#Reaver doesn’t want Ophelia to make the same mistake with Ben by hiding from her feelings #People leave and people Die; but Ruining Requited Love for fear of losing it is so much worse
