update re: I Watch Marvel Content So You Don’t Have To: they did give the teenage boy a boyfriend. i mean technically he’s had one the whole time but they gave him one on screen and not just as a number on a missed call with a single line. they got to kiss and have several scenes together. i begrudgingly enter Didn’t Fumble This into the record.

the urge to kms is so real but I don't have the guts and then who'll read all those books that I bought and the ones i still have to buy? who'll listen to all those goofy ass songs and the comforting ones too, who'll love music like i do? who'll listen to all those podcasts?? and what about the good food ???? who'll make art or appreciate nature or read poetry or be happy about all the little things???? and WHAT ABOUT COFFEE??? I can't betray all these things....and so I continue to live :3

headcanon time, and this might just be me smashing 2 current interests together: Dean is a total music history nerd right? like if he actually had a home he would be one of those guys with 9000 records who can pull out any one and tell you everything about it on the spot. he just only keeps like 10 tapes in the impala bc he has a very particular vision he wants to project to the world.

in general i think Dean is kind of the Marcus Parks of that world, like, bottomless knowledge of the occult, true crime, and music. just instead of going to college and becoming a college radio DJ and joining a band, he got dragged around the country and forced to hunt monsters.
