LMFAOO YESS TRUST ME, IVE SEEN THIS AFTER DOING MY OWN RESEARCH ABOUT VICTORIAN RINGS, ITS SO PERFECT!! WOO YAY im glad i could inspire you to start writing!!!🙏and i get it, writing fanfic is defs self indulgent and for ourselves first and foremost, but obvs nobody wants to release their work into the void😩 as for how my own fic got popular, one of the main things is defs timing. i published the first chap basically within the first week of the game being out (it came out on the 10th and my chap was on the 18th) so it was there right at the peak/start of the fandom. but i also dont wanna attribute it all to timing BAHHA cuz i think im a pretty good writer and that helps....my fic also didnt get popular right away, but i was consistently posting every single week + eventually started adding art every single week, and was just really dedicated to not only writing but also drawing art for it (which is also obvs another huge factor/probs the biggest factor). ive had so many ppl tell me they started reading my fic bc they saw my art on pinterest or something LOL, and some ppl have even read it fandom-blind bc they were into the seb/clora dynamic??? which is another point actually. i always joke about how i love my cliches and good girl+bad boy dynamics, and that im unashamed about loving them LOL, but also...they're cliches for a reason!!! lots of us eat that shit up!!!😤so i think thats defs another factor, vs if my fic was a bit more niche and avant garde LOL the fandom is also (understandably) a lot slower than it was at the beginning of the year so itll be harder in general, but maybe you could commission art to go with your fanfic? ive seen a lot of other HL fanfic writers do it, and i think it defs helps to draw attention! GOOD LUCK and i hope you keep writing!!!🫡💖💖💖🙌

It's not talked about a lot in the fandom but I love how high pitched Lexa's voice is. I know Alycia tried her damned hardest to make it low and intimidating but damn that's the best it can do 😳 she looked hot af as Big Bad HedaTM but the moment she spoke on screen with her unmistakable "oh yeah that's Alycia" voice......... I was a GONER. Like the video of "not everyone, not you" you just posted?? Like somehow I never remember exactly how feminine she sounds when I'm reading fanfics 😂

Because Alycia quite literally was the perfect little delicate bean to play that role 😩

Not to get off subject but like, that's part of why I'd never want a spinoff. No one can play this character but Alycia. No one.

Because I feel like Alycia understood the assignment. In a way a lot of other actors probably wouldn't have, imo. She didn't strain to be something she wasn't or try to add a bunch of vibrato and bass to her voice, because that wasn't the kind of person Lexa was. She could do it to a degree, we see it in the scene when they believe Gus has been poisoned and she commands "No Skaiperson leaves this room!" But even then, filled with anger and fear of losing a confidant and father figure in her life... she still sounds like a young woman who is also just a pissed off leader. Alycia didn't strain to make it gravelier or darker. Because her power in that character doesn't come from false pretenses. She doesn't overtly or heavy handedly try and masculinize herself to convey strength. While I don't think there's anything wrong with that approach by any means, it just isn't always necessary.

And I know there is an argument to be made about them feminizing her even further in s3 for various sexist reasons, I do. But I still appreciated the overall performance and portrayal for what it was because despite all of the show's flaws (which were numerous 😒), letting a powerful woman figure be thoughtlessly and unremarkably feminine while also being a bad bitch just isn't something we see a lot imo. Usually if they're feminine, they're shrinking violets who are just shy and dainty and reserved. Stronger figures tend to be more masculine. More solid. More rigid. Deeper voices. Less feelings.

Lexa, however, was really none of those things when you truly look at her, despite the fact that she was unquestionably a larger than life presence on screen. She beat the shit of men twice her size and stood toe-to-toe with her enemies, commanded armies and led 12 warring nations under her iron fist leadership, she lost everyone she ever cared about and had her heart broken more times than she could count and still she dared to let herself fall in love again. Lexa was strong and she was vulnerable, she was lethal and she loved deeply. She was timeless and just a young woman trying her best to be a leader. Lexa was so many things all at once, and I appreciate the fact that Alycia didn't really bog it down with trying to convey her as something she wasn't.

And she did it all with that sweet dainty voice and her post apocalypse contacts and also impeccable eyeliner 💅

I was going to just comfort you a bit but then it got somewhat long again (I’m HOPELESS 😭), so... Under the cut.

Perhaps it helps to know that, when I said things would inevitably blow up here, I didn’t mean that in an ominous, dark way! I read a looot of fanfic, and in fanfic, the point of conflict is the climax of the story!

So, basically, in my head I imagine that once Stan accidentally makes his inferiority complex/feelings of worthlessness very, very clear in the worst way and moment possible (sorry, I just don’t have much faith in the communication skills of those two 😔), Ford would absolutely, firmly, and sexily shower him with love 😏 Like in those fanfics in which he worships Stan’s body to help with his insecurity 😳

And you don’t have to subscribe to my interpretation, btw! Not even Alex’s! That’s the fun of fiction! If you want to imagine them as more wholesome and functional, of course you can! 💕

I happen to love the codependency/most toxic aspects! It’s SO juicy for me 🧃

This actually reminds me of many people’s expectations and reactions to the finale, with Stan accepting Ford’s broposal being a big surprise! I’ve seen before fans saying that they genuinely thought Stan would reject it, after all what he went through, or that it would’ve been way healthier for Stan if he had rejected it.

I agree that this could have been healthier for Stan, and even, perhaps, the more predictable ending...? I don’t remember what I thought because I was a kid way too invested in Dipper and Mabel and Bill to care much about the Stans back then. But I think that it would’ve been a pretty classic ending!

They could have leaned on the “found family” trope. That even if Stan isn’t with Ford, it’s okay. Blood isn’t everything. Stan realizes his true family was there all along, valuing and loving him: Mabel, Dipper, Soos, Wendy... (never mind the fact Mabel and Dipper are still his biological family 😅) He realizes it’s time to step out of Ford’s shadow and be his own person (especially after he saved everyone in Weirdmaggedon and proved himself), that it was wrong of him to cling to Ford so desperately, and it was time to... finally let go...

I can easily picture it: Ford invites Stan, hopeful, but Stan looks at the horizon as his hair is tousled by the wind. After all the adventures in the summer, Stan learned so much. Stan is wiser now. “Nah, Poindexter...” [says some deep stuff about never realizing how dependent he was on Ford] Ford hesitates for a moment, then smiles sadly but somewhat proud of his brother, says he understands, apologizes for taking so long to understand Stan’s value. He also learns his lesson, one very different but no less painful than the one Stan had to learn. About humbleness, the consequences of the choices you make, etc.

He then stays in Gravity Falls as the local authority on anomalies whose help people can always count on as the Author of the Journals, while Stan, Soos, and Wendy take care of the Mystery Shack. I think it would be too sad to make Ford sail away on his own in a show about the importance of family so they likely wouldn’t go there. Or would they...? Ford could just permanently assume his narrative role as the Author of the Journals and keep sending the kids’, especially Dipper, updates on his new findings. They show Dipper receiving one letter from Grunkle Stan, and one letter from Grunkle Ford, separately. Their relationship with the kids (the protagonists) ends up as more important than their relationship with each other.

I don’t know about you, anon, but I think we did get the happier ending 🥺

Yes, according to Alex, they are both so damaged that they desperately need each other. But according to this same Alex, Stan and his brother are meant to be a parable that show what can go wrong in a family relationship, but also show that, with hard work and sacrifice, the rift can be repaired.

Also, to be honest... I just pity Ford 🥺 His pitiable regretful peacock swag unfortunately works on me. I want them to stay together codependently and kiss codependently on the mouth!

I swear ever since I found out that ACOTAR was just a fanfic SJM wrote for Twilight so many things make sense!!

Aka twilight is terrible yet we love it anyway, Stephanie Meyer can’t write for shit & Bella Swan was a Stephanie Meyer self insert in the way that Feyre Archeron is a self insert for Sarah.

Also both Rhysand & Edward are written not for the books, plot or even the actual characters themselves but for the authors to the point where you can tell the characters own actions contradict themselves because both authors push their views & on the characters instead of letting the characters just be that…a character.

If you look at the Robert Pattison interviews & the way he talks about Twilight & his character Edward Cullen it’s fucking hilarious & glorious!😭😩😂 the way he shits on Stephanie & her writing it has me howling every single time!

Rhysand = Edward Cullen just a fae version & more powerful, both read minds, both old as hell & infatuated with a teenage girl, both have a rival (Tamlin & Jacob Black), both keep secrets from their fiancé’s/wife thus endangering them, both get their wives pregnant with babies that ultimately end up killing them, both babies are super powered, both get married to their mates when they’re mate hasn’t even lived their lives yet

Mor & Cassian = Rosalie & Emmett minus the actual relationship but they still fucked & the same way in Twilight everyone knows they’re in a relationship but at the same time because they’re like adopted by Carlisle everyone they’re also referred to as being brother & sister

Azriel = Jasper minus Azriel being a confederate

Then there’s just Amren 😂

Elain = Alice

You could even say that Rhysand & Feyre are both Edward & Bella & also Carlisle & Esme (since they both are the “leaders” of the family)but SJM wrote them as Edward & Bella

Then Nesta & Cassian become Rosalie & Emmett

Lucien = maybe Seth?

Amarantha = Victoria

Tamlin = Jacob (if you’ve read the books then you know how Jacob’s character actually is)

The Archeron sisters parents…Papa Archeron is a deadbeat & useless, Bella’s dad is just there (but still better than what the sisters had) but Bella’s mom lowkey useless & so was Mama Archeron

Feyre sees Nyx as an extension of Rhysand & so does Bella though Feyre might actually be a better mother than Bella because as a mother is…well not maternal in the slightest.

The inner circle is stupid rich, so were the cullens.

Hello! I read a recent fic done containing soulmates, picks being Ningguang, Lisa, and La Signora. It was written in such a fun way and I loved it. What I loved even more, though, was Jean's appearances and continous help to the reader.

Now, I LOVE Jean. Besides Lumine, Jean is my top genshin girl since the very beginning so seeing her being portrayed being so strong and caring (same way I usually think of her, ofc) made me plead if it would be possible to make a soulmate! (or any kind of fanfic honestly) Jean x reader.

Helping everyone was tiring, even so when she see people who has found their soulmates

She who still has yet to find her other half, the person who should own her heart and become her world

The dull gray scene in her view became a normal routine for her, looking at it while doing her work, while doing her commissions and all her endless work

She who only wants to lay down and rest in the arms of her beloved, but alas faith has not given her that chance, all she could do is wait and pray that her beloved will come soon

But little did she know that a commission will be the reason she can see those beautiful colors surrounding her, feel those warm arms wrapped around her

A new beginning in her life something she is looking forward to welcoming in her not so dull life now

Warnings⚠️: A bit Angst at the start but will get more Fluff at the ending, blood

"That should be the last of it, anything else you need help with Sara?" Jean asked the girl at good hunters after finishing a commission by bringing 5 sacks of ingredients to the restaurant

"No, that's everything" The girl said looking at the sacks that Jean brought "Thanks again for all the help Master Jean! Goodbye!" The girl said enthusiastically to the leaving Grand Master

Looking around the scenery was perfect, the air was fresh and Jean could smell the fresh dandelions, the weather was clear there was no sign of any storm nor rain

It was calming, everything was peaceful, but there was something missing or more like someone is missing, Jean let out a sigh and continued her walk towards the Adventure Guild to take up her other commissions

"Hello Katherine" Jean greeted the receptionist with a smile "Hello to you too, Master Jean" The girl replied with also a smile to Jean "Anymore commissions for me? I am quite free for the day" Jean asked hoping to have one that is outside of the city

"It seems we still have quite a few but most of them requires you to leave the city, will that be alright?" Jean gave a nod to which the girl prepared the details of 4 commissions and started to read them one by one to Jean

"There are 4 commissions in total, one of them you have to go at Dragonspine to deliver some supplies they will be needing" The girl said handing a piece of paper to Jean

"Next you have a commission at Dawn Winery, where you are asked to get rid of some monsters that are terrorizing the crops they have planted, the number of monsters are unknown" Katherine handed another paper to Jean

"Be careful with that commission because they might have some back up" Jean nodded and took the paper "Then your third commission, you are required to assist a group of adventurers in clearing the path that goes to Liyue along the borders"

Katherine handed another paper to Jean and picked up the last one "Your final commission consists of going to Starsnatch Cliff and collecting Cecilia flowers" Katherine said and handed Jean the last paper

"Thank you Katherine, I shall be back once I finished these" Jean said confidence leaking to her voice, she was confident but she did not know why

"Take care and Ad Astra Abyssosque to you Master Jean" Katherine said her farewell to the leaving Acting Grand Master, she noticed her confidence and confusion left the girl

The Jean she usually see taking so many commission put up a brave face but she could see her tiredness and sadness, something Katherine pick up when the Acting Grand Master was near

Jean was quick and efficient in doing her work, she finished her first commission in delivering the suplies with breeze and made quick work of the monsters at Dawn Winery

She moved like the dandelions dancing in the wind, swift and sharp, she was then in her third commission in helping the adventurers from both Liyue and Mondstadt

Looking around Jean can recognize a few of them, like the unluck kid Bennett with his friend and Lisa's student Razor, she could also recognize Mona

From Liyue she could see the Crux captain Beidou, the light-blue haired exorcised boy with his friend, she could also see the famous cook from Liyue, Xianling

But what caught her eye the most was the figure covered in a coat, she could not see their face but something in Jean is telling her that the person is important, but before she could make conversation in a blink of an eye the person then vanished

Jean blinked a couple of times but she could not find the person, she was hoping to see their face, the only thing she could see was the dusty gray scenery in front of her

The horns sounded indicating the beginning of the partnership on clearing a path from the lurking monsters at the borders of both Liyue and Monsadt

Jean knew she had to focus, she could not lose that now, she should only think about the incoming enemies ahead, but why is it that Jean still goes back to the caped person she saw earlier?

Shaking her head Jean snapped out of her thoughts quick enough to see a slime attacking her, dodging in time and preparing a attack to counter the slime

After a few hours of the battle it then ended with Jean only receiving minimal wounds, thought the orders were not as lucky like her and received big cuts and bruises on them

Jean was glad it was finished, she then left when she had her minor wounds checked and bandaged, there was one more commission to finish for the day

Travelling to Starsnatch Cliff her mind drifted back to the hooded person once more, she was not able to see if they were at the clinic due to so many people asking if she was fine

Jean was starting to get frustrated, she was curios and her curiosity is starting to take over her now

Shaking her head she repeated the word's in her head 'I have to stay focus on the mission at hand' Jean continued her walk to her destination with the same person lingering and making their mark to her mind

She still wanted to see them, something in her light up in the sight of the person, it was liked she was being pulled why an invisible forced to that person

She was getting restless but she had to focus or things could go sideways for her mission, even if it was a simple commission about collecting flowers, it could still go haywire along the way

Arriving at Starsnatch Cliff, she started to collect the needed flowers to her commission "Alright I got about 10 now , just need another 10 more to finished this" She said to her self

Continuing her walk and collecting the rest of the flowers she then heard a scream, one agonizing and call for help 'Someone must be in danger!' She thought while dropping her things to the side and running to the direction of the scream

There she saw a young girl from Monsadt, Ally she believe, but she could not think long for the girl once again scream for help "HELP! Anyone pls! HELP ME!" The girl was being attacked by a group of monsters, and they were closing on her quick

"Hold on! I'm coming!" Jean shouted and summoned her sword, the monsters notice of her but only some decided to attack her while the rest closed in on Ally

'There are too many of them, I need to make a path so that she could leave but to do that I need to get closer to her' Jean thought continuously but due to the monsters attacking she was having a hard time doing so

She was continuously using her vision to blow the enemies away from her, but the more she used it the more she started to get tired and and the monsters started to make a pattern to attack her

"Pls, help me!" Ally could merely shout once she reached the tip of Starsnatch Cliff, one more step and she could fall to her death, Jean has to move quick

A shadow passed above of Jean and suddenly a sea of flames surrounded her "What?" Confused a figure drop in front of her and another surge of power was released, this time it was a wave of ice and spikes of ice formed

"Dammit! Was I too late?" The new person said and lifted their arm where Jean could see flames form, it was dark and ominous but in Jean's eyes they were beautiful

"Ashes fall!" The person shouted and the black flames shot out of her hand and into each of the monsters present, all continued to burn to the ground and not ashes even remain

The person started to walk to the girl, Jean could see Ally was terrified about what happened, and seeing the person who eliminated so many monsters in a quick short span of time

Jean despite the pain, endured it and walked to the girl first making the person stopped in their track "Ally are you alright? Sorry I was late" Jean said to the terrified girl

"You seem fine now" The person spoke and by her voice she could hear a woman, looking at the girl who has fallen unconscious, Jean looked at the woman

She could not see her face but she could hear the girl took a deep breath, it made Jean confused why did the woman's breath hitched?

"Your name?" The hooded woman said or mumbled softly "What?" It was soft so Jean was not able to hear her "I asked for you name" The woman said once more, a bit louder now

'Ah, right I have not introduced myself to her just yet' Jean stood up and saluted to her "Forgive me for the late introduction, I am the Acting Grand Master Jean Gunnhildr of the Knight of Favonius" Jean said with a small bow

"Jean" She could hear the soft mumble of her name from the woman in front "What a beautiful name" She added "And who might you be miss?" Jean asked the woman

"Ah right, I am Y/N a passing wanderer" The woman named Y/N pulled their hood and jean saw her face, Jean saw the eyes of the girl and a bust of color engulfed her sight

"You are beautiful, those colors suit you the most" Jean could hear Y/N say softly and lowly, once her vision cleared Jean could see her once dull and gray world is now full of color and and beauty

Jean's eyes landed on Y/N, the woman was tall but Jean was a inch or two taller than her, Jean's eyes landed on the woman's blushing face facing the other way

Jean could see blood on her face but her obsidian eyes are what Jean caught the most attracting, looking her over Jean could see blood all over the woman

Jean could feel pride and happiness engulfed her inside, she found her soulmate, the owner of her heart and the one who will be her world

Clearing her throat she caught sight of the woman pulling her hood up once more, she wanted to see her eyes once more, but hold back her tongue to ask her

She extended her hand to her soulmate "Seeing that we are soulmates, may I ask for a bit of your time?" Jean asked worried that she might have trouble the other person

"Sure" It was simple and straightforward, an answer Jean was content with, so she picked up Ally and returned to where she left her stuff and started her trek back to the city with her soulmate waling right beside her

Arriving at the city Jean lead her soulmate to the church where they drop of Ally to be treated by the sisters and talked with her own sister

"Big sister! Its nice to see you!" Barbara greeted the blonde and went for a hug "Are you here to get treatment? If so I can help with it!" Barbara offered to her sister

"No, I am not hurt at all, we merely dropped off a girl we saw at Starsnatch Cliff that was surrounded by monsters" Jean explained to her sister "I see, but sister yo said we?" Barbara asked

"Ah yes, Barbara I want yo to meet Y/N" Jean moved to the side and there stood Y/N lost in her own world, this made Jean smile and so she tap the woman on her shoulder to get her attention

"Ah yes? Sorry I was distracted for a moment" Y/N said her hood still covering her face from Barbara "Y/N, this is my sister Barbara, I wanted you to meet her" Jean explained and Y/N only nodded

"I am Y/n, a passing wanderer, A pleasure to meet you miss Barbara" Y/N introduced herself "Big sister, why are you with miss Y/N?" Barbara asked after accepting Y/N's introdction

"Ahh you see Barbara, Y/N here is" Jean was looking for the right words, she was nervous of her sisters reaction, but she was cut off "Ohh are you with her so that she could receive treatment? I can see an awful lot of blood" Barbara exclaimed

"Ah no Barbara" Jean said to her "Then what?" Barbara asked "Y/N is my soulmate Barbara, I meet her at Starsnatch Cliff while rescuing Ally from the monsters" Jean explained

But receive only silence from her sister, this worried Jean "Are you alright Barbara?" Jean asked her sister full of worry and concern "YES!" Barbara suddenly exclaimed with a smile, surprising both Jean and Y/N in the process

"B-barbara?" Jean called out to her sister "Yes! You found your soulmate! I am so happy for you big sis!" Barbara gave her sister a hug and Jean returned it despite being surprised by her sister at first

"Ohh I cant wait!" Barbara said after letting go of Jean and turned to Y/N her sister's soulmate "Y/N" Barbara called out to the woman "Yes?" She answered back to the girl

"Please take care of my sister! And if you are comfortable with it may I see your face?" Barbara asked and this left Y/N stunned "I know that I will only be able to see dull gray but my sister can tell me the colors so that I can imagine it on your face" Barbara said with a wide smile

"Or is it too much?" Barbara said hesitantly when she saw Y/N not move and inch "I am very sorry I must have brought up uncomfortable memories to you, please forgive me" Barbara said and bowed

Stunned Y/N waved her hands in a hurry "No! I-it's fine I was just surprise by your request" Y/N said and pulled down her hood to let Barbara and Jean examine her face on Barbara's request

Amazed Barbara was stuck on her feet examining the dull gray color of Y/N's face "Big sister, can you please tell me the color of her eyes? For some reason I find myself more fascinated in them" Barbara requested to her sister

With a smile Jean explained to Barbara the colors she saw on your face "Her eyes are a beautiful color of obsidian black like the night, her white hair highlights her eyes making it look like the Goddess of the Night is looking down on us" Barbara was fascinated

"Woah really?" She asked her sister "Yes her eyes may not be common but they are very welcome, I can see a sea of stars when I look at them" Jean shared to her sister with a smile

Y/N hearing all of these was left flustered by Jean's words and looked away when Barbara looked at her sister and asked more questions 'Shit! Get your shit together Y/N!' She mentally scolded herself

"Well Barbara, that should be all" Jean said to her sister "But I am afraid we will have to go back and finish some things" Jean told her sister with a sad smile seeing her sister deflate

Y/N took this opportunity to pull up her hood once more to hide not only her eyes but also her blushing face "Alright big sister" Barbara looked at Y/N and smiled "Y/N! Please take care of my sister! She tends to overwork herself to the point of passing out!" Barbara shouted to Y/N

"B-barbara!" Jean scolded her sister "Bye sis! Bye Y/N!" Barbara shouted and left them to tend to the wounded once more, stunned Y/N let out a small laugh making Jean looked at her

"You have a lovely sister" Y/N said with a smile and turned around "Ah, yes I am sorry about her once more" Jean apologized to her about her sisters actions

"Jean, its fine" Jean looked at her soulmate "In truth I find it amusing" Y/N added and started to walk down the stairs "Well then , you said we still have one more stop? Shall we?" Y/N extended her hand to Jean once she reached the third step

"Please don't keep me waiting I do wish to spend time with my soulmate" Y/N said and Jean hurriedly hold Y/N's hand and lead her back to her office with a wide smile

"Then I shall be sure not to keep you waiting anymore" Jean stated making Y/N smile, the wind blew away her hood and Jean who looked back saw her smile

"Thank you" Jean her Y/N whisper softly "I'm your soulmate, its my duty!" Jean stated with confidence making Y/N smile more

This was the happiest day of her life

I would like to know more about Sukuna, specifically about his childhood. I think Sukuna denies himself the opportunity to feel anything for fear that it will make him vulnerable and because, in his own words "he was an unwanted child", so maybe the rejection and indifference of his parents is the reason why he is like that. I'm not trying to justify his behavior and all the dreadful things he has done, because I think he was already evil even before he was born, (now we already know that in his mother's womb he was cruel enough to kill his brother), but I want to believe that the brutal era in which he was born also influenced a lot his sadistic personality.

In the fight against Jogo, Sukuna admitted that he has never cried, so he is implying that he has never been able to feel empathy or pain or anything. And even despite all this, I wish I could hug him, show him that he can be loved and that he can love too. ❤️😭💔 I need help! 😩 Ideas for many SukuIta or SukunaxReader fanfics are popping into my head right now. ❤️

Sorry if this kind of post is weird, I just wanted to vent. ^^

I am getting so emotional reading this 😭😭 Your post isn't weird at all, and I can relate a lot!! I have a soft spot for Sukuna because of the glimpses we get of his past. Was he really a monster? Or was that just what everyone called him and how they treated him? He was cursed even before he was born because he was a twin, which was considered something evil. And he consumed his twin in the womb, making things even worse, probably. He never had a chance. No one loved him. No one wanted him to even live, not even his own mother. His solitude didn't begin when he was sitting on his lonely throne of being the strongest. It already began before his birth.

I am beginning to think that Sukuna just became the monster that everyone was already convinced he was before he was even born. He had to become that monster so he could survive. Sukuna isn't the type to just give up and die. He is the type to fight. And so he did what he had to survive. He became the monster they told him he was anyway.

Sukuna says he knows love. But I don't believe that. I think he doesn't know what true love is, which is why he thinks love is trash. The only "love" he ever knew was fake love when people wanted something from him or adored him for his power. I still think that maybe Yorozu could have shown him love, since she seemed to relate to his struggles and wanted to make him feel less lonely. But at the time Sukuna met her, he was already convinced that love is worthless.

Also, I still don't understand why all the Heian-era sorcerers decided to team up to fight him. Was it ever mentioned? It makes me wonder a lot... was there a real reason, or was it just that they hated that Sukuna was so powerful?

So this is what I've been cooking up for the last few weeks.

I've been a major fan of their Cross Guild poly writing for a hot minute. (I still can't believe I was 10 fanfics deep before realizing they were written by the same beautiful mind) and one of my favorite fics that GothRaven wrote was "Little Star Lost, Lots of Love Found" (a FANTASTIC read, could not recommend it enough).

I just adored how they wrote Crocodile and Mihawk not only as men finding vulnerability, but sharing it with their new nakama in Buggy's crew. (Them genuinely wishing their babies had Buggy's nose was what sold me. 😩💖)

Little details and logic on some pieces;

Oberon's suit is more related to the Zoot Suits of the 30's (peak mafia era while comedy was at it's full time swing).

Interestingly enough, the men who wrote these suits irl were of the Mexican demographic, whom many are religious, thus is why i gave Oberon a silver cross to match his father Mihawk.

Meanwhile, Orion's style is much closer to pirates but to a more romantic nature, which is what goth was derived from. And to balance out with his brother, Orion wears a baroque style necklace to carry something of his father Crocodile aside from his name.

Once, the twins were old enough, they chose their first tattoos in dedication for their sibling in the sky, Hikari. Orion's takes a more astrological approachto his tribute (thank you @wordy-little-witch for the alphabet) while Oberon takes a more nautical spin.

And yes, those red dots in both tattoos are, in fact, Buggy's signature nose. I have no doubt Hikari would've also had it.

The way I see it, there's two ways this thing would go….

An emotional, lively, feminine woman who has strong family values would be a dream come true for König. If you identify with the concept of marianismo at all, if you're loving and loyal and want to support your husband-to-be (König won't settle being just your 'boyfriend'), want to get married too and embrace your femininity while he gets to be The Man, your provider and protector, well, damn. This guy is on his knees! König will worship you, return your support and love tenfold, hundredfold. It will be the love story of a lifetime (and a story of traditional gender roles too but König would only view it as romantic 🩷)

But if you're "a lot", perhaps more outgoing than König thinks is appropriate, if you don't give a shit about his Ordnung muss sein-mentality and laugh at his attempts to cage you…? Sorry but you'll drive the poor man crazy!

He needs to possess protect you, which means your "temper" is a weed in the garden of your love. It needs to be pulled out, and you need to be tamed. König will go out of his mind as he tries to both please your every wish and try to put you on a leash. Lots of arguments ensue as you try to explain to this man that he's overreacting (and König is like Was?? He's not overreacting or hysterical, you're hysterical), lots of passionate reconciliation sex follows as he tries to prove you that you're his and his alone and no other man is allowed to even look at you.

So please don't torture him too much ❤️, he's not used to women's company and has a lot of suppressed energy and emotion, he just wants to take care of you and be the head of the house (and that you two worship each other 24/7 and carry each other's blood in small little vials or something omg)

Um, Rush Hour, Partners, Knight in Shining Armor, Loveable Nerds and Superheroes and Thank You, Becky Cooper - except for Partners, these are all Flash fics, which is wild, because aside from Rush Hour and Loveable Nerds and Superheroes, both of which I'm still quite proud of, I don't necessarily think that my Flash fics are my best works, but okay ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

5. Do you respond to comments?

Sometimes? I often don't know what to say in response 😅- but I appreciate every single one of them sooo much! 💕

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Okay... so this question prompted me to do some re-reading of my older fics... and honestly? Nothing on my AO3 account had an angsty ending to begin with ^^; So I had to go waaaay back, to my old ff.net account - and I think my Young Justice fic "Pain" had the angstiest ending (and even then, it's pretty moderate... even 17-year-old me was fairly mellow ;)

Hmmh... Maybe my Flash fic "Coming Home"? It certainly has a very warm and fuzzy ending ☺️

Oh boy, there are plenty of fics I'm worried I'll never finish... but I choose to stay optimistic enough to think that I will, someday, finish all the WIPs that I want to finish... (please, writing Gods, please help me accomplish this task!!!!)

16. What are your writing strengths?

Umm... I like to think that my writing is quite, um, pleasant? What I mean is, that it's pretty accessible (not too convoluted or complex, but also not boring) and while I sometimes write angsty/tense/sad moments, my stories generally have happy endings... And even though my writing isn't exactly groundbreaking, I still stand by all the ideas/concepts behind every story I've written so far, so... yeah...

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

The process of writing itself (I have to fight for every single word I commit onto the page... I swear, me and writing are engaged in the most tedious wrestling match nobody ever wants to see... ever). I get excited for a particular story, start to jot down some basic ideas, maybe even put in some research for a few points that need to get tackled beforehand - and then psyche myself out of being able to write down that dang story 😩 (Doesn't help that I have a hard time making decisions and get super intimidated when faced with all the possible directions a story could go)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Depends on the context - if we're talking about two foreigners (e.g. Germans) that are talking to each other in their native tongue and maybe don't want to be understood by the people around them (who, for the sake of this argument, are all English speakers) - then, maybe I would give it a whirl, because it would fit the idea behind the conversation (especially if it's a short exchange that people, who would be interested in learning what the Germans said, could look up via Google translate) - but, imo, this only works in very specific circumstances and for short exchanges - otherwise it can get tedious real quick... and personally, I don't like writing in German and don't feel confident enough in my Spanish skills to attempt it for that language, so writing English all the way is it for me

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Um... a quick look at my old, old fanfiction.net account tells me that my first posted fanfic was for the "Sonny With A Chance" fandom when I was 14 years old - the writing is a little... rough, for sure 😅 (although, to be fair, this was written at a point when I had only had, like, 3-4 years of proper English class... all things considered, it's not that bad)

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

Don't make me choose, I can't pick just one!

I very, very much love my BatCat fic "The Chase" - it just feels like pure Selina, the pacing of it is great and I think it portrays Bruce/Selina's relationship dynamic so very well (plus, it has some of my favorite sentences I've ever written in there!)

I also love Partners for being the longest, most ambitious story I've written so far (yes, despite the fact that I still need to add that epiogue!) and On the Reciprocal Attraction of Heavenly Bodies has the potential to become my best fic of them all, with the Austen-esque writing style and all the historical and literary research I plan on putting into it... I'm certainly very fond of the two chapters that already exist.

And This Is Not Over, But Just the Beginning is so fun and challenging in a different way; being a Quarry fic, with the whole werewolf element, it's darker and more angsty than anything I've written in a long time - but that's what makes it so fascinating for me to write (and read)

Hi! This isn’t an ask and I’ve been meaning to do this for a bunch of other authors since before 2024 ended or even the beginning of 2025, but I kept backing out. I’ve been a silent reader since last year but then I saw your recent post and…

I need you to know how much I love your writing and your fanfics. (And this is a warning to potential people, other than you, who might read this should you decide to post it, that the following may contain spoilers for some fics 🫠).

I finished the series the summer of 2024, and while I don’t remember exactly what fanfic I read the first time I visited the Ao3 fandom, I can without a doubt say that your works were some of the first I read.

Smile is one of the fanfics I go back to when I want to read something angsty (usually all the time). Chapters 1 and 2 are so heartbreaking, the way you wrote Rowan’s hand resting on Lyria? Or the way Rowan calls Aelin ‘Fireheart’ when Aelin was walking away from Rowan and Lyria’s wedding? I love it. If I need a good cry, I go back to this fic.

I also go back to How to Fix This because how could I not? The last chapter was so angsty and beautiful and my only wish was that it was longer.

Other fanfics that I enjoyed are Breaking the Rules, The Look, Zoom Interrupted, Replacing You and Stupid Regrets. Secrets Held in Time (this was so good!), Healing (absolutely genius, I think I teared up at the end), The Whitethorn Tradition and The Tradition Continues (this was so fun to read!), Reading Buddies and Uncle Lorcan Helps Out (lol to both! It was so adorable) were definitely fics I had to tell my friends about because they were so good!

I have also read It Takes Two and there’s a certain particular chapter (or chapters really) I go back to because the angst is good and when they make up? One of the best feelings during a read.

But my most favorite fic of yours, one I think about a lot even though it’s been months since I’ve read it is Made of Ashes. (At this point, you’re about to receive my unfiltered and unhinged thoughts of this fic and how much I adore it).

I picked this fic randomly thinking it was done and boy oh boy, am I glad that I did. I did not expect Fenrys, freaking FENRYS?! to be Aelin’s new boyfriend. That was genius. It made the plot so much more complicated and I love it.

The back and forth timelines?! I was eating them up. The gradual spiral down of Rowan and Aelin’s relationship? Believable. I devoured every chapter, and I think I slept late that day because it was so so so good. I swear, their fight in Chapter 11 was so heartbreaking. It was coming but I was not prepared for that. And then Chapter 18 with the voice mail? If I need a good cry, I go back to those two chapters because it is so sad and so angsty. And the fact that you do the flashbacks in both POVs is genius because you see both sides and the audience knows both perspectives but the characters don’t and ugh. Amazing.

I have so much love for this fanfic and so many questions because I love how you wrote Fenrys— he’s an amazing boyfriend. But I’ve already read the bonus chapters you’ve uploaded to give more context for the story and I’ve also gone back to the earlier chapters and as much as I do love Fenrys, he’s also super suspicious?! There’s that comment about him not being boyfriend material or something and that flashback where Aelin delivers food to the office and he mentions something about how it could have been him. I love him, but he’s suspicious, but he’s so good to Aelin and Elsie?! I’m so conflicted 😩

But then when I think about this fic, I think about all the angsty moments that could happen, especially with the way things are right now. I think about how Rowan would eventually get to see Elsie more and spend time with her but in return, he’ll see more of Aelin and ugh. The angst that will come when he realizes all that he’s missed.

Sometimes, when I let my mind wander to this fic, I think about potential scenarios that could occur with this fanfic. I think about Rowan finding Aelin’s letter in his old couch (jf I remember that correctly) or I think about a potential scene where Rowan ask how pregnancy was and instead of being angry, Aelin actually opens up about her experience and it’s just angst everywhere because he realizes how hard it was for her.

I also think about Aelin and how it’s hinted that something happened and it’s not talked about and I’m just curious because it’s more potential for drama hahaha.

On a much happier note, I do love Lorcan and Aelin’s relationship in this fic. For most fics I’ve read, it’s usually Fenrys that would take the role Lorcan is in, but not this one and I love it. The ‘driving to the airport, learning stick-shift’ lives in my head rent free and even the scene before that, when Lorcan was stalling and lingering in Aelin’s apartment because of contractions were some of my favorite moments in the fic. Really, their friendship is precious and it’s one of the things I love about your fic.

Point is, I think about this fanfic a lot and it’s probably at the point where it is unhealthy, but I just love it.

There’s still a lot more fics to read from your master list, but basically, your writing brings me and others I’m sure, a lot of joy. I was really sad that the Ao3 TOG fandom isn’t as active as other fandoms, but when I discovered you had Tumblr and then discovered other authors through you, I was really happy.

This post is already extremely long, but I hope you’ve found it helpful on your quest to fall in love with writing again. Writing is tough, but I applaud you for all the times you’ve posted your fics— both in Ao3 and Tumblr. It takes courage and I’m glad for all the times you’ve shared your work because it’s been a pleasure to read. Until then, I’ll be waiting patiently for when you return. 💕

I haven’t encounter MoA discourse in a while and oh boy I missed it so much. Just a little bit behind the scenes information, it originally wasn’t meant to be Fenrys. I was going to make the boyfriend Chaol and basically ruin his life, but then I got this glimmer of a scene in my head and it absolutely wasn’t Chaol. It was Fenrys. Then I realised it was a stroke of genius and I just had to do it 😂 and yes I also love the Lorcan and Aelin friendship, it’s been one of my favourite things to write in the fic. That and the emotional turmoil.

Honestly, embarrassingly recently I saw 02PNG's art on my twitter feed, like back in march when I was deep in my Dune phase?? and it awakened something in me about Obi-wan kenobi who I'd shamefully been sleeping on my whole life?? Dont ask me how one could possibly sleep on obi-wan.... i think my little kid brain left me with some weird blindspots, but older me has finally seen the Truth and is making up for lost time at double the pace. basically RoTS was the first starwars film I watched as a kid and it was in the cinema in 05 and the mustafar duel is deeply entrenched in my psyche and forever altered my brain and me as a person, (pretty sure its the whole reason i love tragedies like dune, berserk, rots, paradise lost, logh, avatar2) but 8 yr old me didnt know what to do with this information??? so it was just dormant inside me until a random trigger in my 20s unlocked it and then i read (1) obianidala fanfic and it was all over.. I was like wow obiwan and anakin have a sorta, you know, theyre like That... if they just kissed the whole tragedy couldve been avoided 🫥

on that note the star wars fandom has been one of the most welcoming fandoms ive ever entered and everyone has been so kind to me even tho im belatedly rehashing all the things people have probably known for decades ahahaha, not to mention theres so many incredible fanworks that im spoiled for choice 🥹

25. What genre (of fanart) do you prefer to see/or draw for this ship: fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, alternative universe, canon divergence? (or other!)

I absolutely LOVE seeing fanart that's angsty or hurt/comfort, especially if there's a little story behind it or an angsty quote that just makes my heart clench. ugh, like i love seeing them happy and fluffy for sure, but a part of my brain just wants to see them hurt and vunerable just so they're actually forced to acknowledge their emotions (obi-wan im looking at you). something about characters that are always composed makes me want to mess them up 😩 as for in my own art, im still very knew to drawing and have only just managed to reach a level where two character can interact in one piece...lol... so the things i draw are very limited by my lack of skill and so far have been more in the fluffy or lowkey smutty genre... when i get good enough for little comics its over for yall tho 😈

3. All-time favorite pairing?

At the risk of sounding extremely cheesy……… I think probably the ship that's just my wol x my partner's wol :3 They are evergreen to me (to us both really!) and we made them to play through msq together when living apart (the game was not new to me but I started over so we could go through it together) and to this day it's the main thing keeping us talking about ffxiv and playing it together!! My partner is really private about their OCs so I haven't posted art of them or talked about them publicly in a long while but I think they probably are my favorite of all time 🥰

4. Pairing that makes no sense to you?

Prefacing this with only love and kindness to people who do like this ship, genuinely, not being shady at all! But!! I don't get Estinien/Vrtra as a ship 😅 Don't try to explain it to me, I've heard all the things already, I know why people ship it! But I disagree with the interpretation of the characters and their dynamic. And I know you're probably thinking "aha it's because you like estimeric actually 🧐" but no, I ship Estinien with all sorts of characters besides Aymeric, it's more that I really really like Vrtra and I think in order to ship him in the way people ship him with Estinien, you have to disregard some key elements of Vrtra's character (and on occasion Estinien's character too, but it's usually Vrtra getting flattened in my experience) and I super don't like that 😩

Again, no hate at all to people who like it! I'm happy for you and support you!! I just don't get it and I don't think I ever will, but I'm happy for y'all!! I just can recognize it's not for me and doesn't spark joy in these characters I care very much about, so, I don't ever talk about it or interact with that ship.

Real missed potential for more platonic stuff with them-- Estinien lost his whole family and it changed him fundamentally, you don't think he's talking about that with Vrtra while they're searching for Azdaja? Be so serious!! I've wanted to write a fic about that for a very long time but haven't gotten around to it yet. One day maybe!

21. Favorite fic trope?

I am a simple woman, I love a good mutual pining. I want them to be so oblivious yet so infatuated it's causing them physical pain!! Maybe it's because I'm a lesbian and we are often so bad at discerning feelings in our romantic interest(s) and also quick to dismiss the signs that are there and admonish ourselves, but gosh, that's just so delicious to me. Maybe that's why I've been able to write so much in my slowburn fic lol just shaking them by the shoulders!! Biting my hand!! You know!!

22. Least favorite fic trope?

Oh I don't know… All hurt; no comfort? Infidelity? Break-ups? Kidfics where the kids are biological? I don't know how often these things are done since I truthfully don't read many fics, but I know they are hard no's for me whenever I've come across them. Again, all my love to people who enjoy them, it's just not my cup of tea.
