This was never our battle !These beings were not humans ,they were winged bipedal creatures not from this planet, adapted perhaps but not from our race. They have been around for eons ,they also have been divided into legions, some from the light and others from the darkness. They are part also of the extraterrestrial lore ,they have been at war ever since they were created. Their existence and mythology was part of the universal origin long before earth existed as a life viable planet.Long before civilizations existed they came from worlds that still exist today but much ,much older than ours. We somehow added them to our world mythology ,that was humanity’s first mistake we know little about their dimensions,The earliest mention appears in Babylonia ,Mesopotamia and Egyptian mythology, then the Greeks and Roman civilization. Have you ever wonder how those gods and goddesses of old came to be ?How their pantheons were created ? Or you still think they were just imaginary beings that appeared out of nowhere? Well, think again, think how the religions appeared ,they were not created by humans,no siree ! Enter these winged bipedal beings that concocted the whole idea of creation in order to control and manipulate us as a slave race but things got out of control and with the help of those beings that rule the light we were born able to live and grow to the dismay of those dark factions. These things go back in time and our knowledge is but an iota compared to the whole narrative .How do you think that we got the list of hierarchy of angels and archangels? Well, there’s much more but for now ,ponder just for fun about these things, and take note ,if you are interested .Words by Sergio Guyman Proust.

For the past two days, I had been waking up sick. It would fade away just to come back worse than before. I had an idea of what it could have been, but I wanted to be sure.
Unlike me, my husband, Bi Han, was somewhat worried and impatient to know the cause. It was rare for me to get sick, and to such intensity had him pacing back and forth:
"I am getting tired of waiting."
"Relax, Brother," Kuai sighed at him, only trying to help, "I am sure that Y/N will be fine."
"Don't tell me to relax," Bi Han growled at him, freezing and staring as the doctor stepped out of the room, whispering to Bi Han with a smile:
"She will be just fine, but she does have something to tell you. It's best if you hear it from her."
With the door open, I could see the confusion on his face. He marched into the room, shutting and locking the door.
"Don't look so stressed, Bi Han. I'm fine, I promise."
"Then why are you sick?" He groaned out of impatience, sitting at my side on our bed, growing serious as he asked, "The doctor told me that you had something to tell me. What is it?"
"I know why I've been dealing with this sickness," I smiled. My smile confused him till I took his hand, his eyes carefully following it as I placed his hand on top of my stomach.
His eyes shot over to mine quickly, knowing what was going on but needing to hear me say:
"You're going to be a father, Bi Han."
"I'm going to be a father," He repeated, smiling more with my nod:
"It's why my nausea was so strong, love."
"I'm going to be a father," He repeated again, his hand sliding under the blanket and under my shirt to feel my stomach.
I wasn't far along, but as his palm met my skin, there was this overwhelming happiness that washed over me; I sniffled as I nodded to him again:
"We're going to be parents, dear."
Seeing my swelled-up tears, he fixed me up a little so he could hug me, which only made that happiness stronger, squeezing him as he cooed to me:
"And we will be great parents."
"I'm so blessed to be your wife and the mother of your child," I sniffled, back to smiling as he wiped a tear from my cheek:
"There's no other in this world that I'd want to be that for me."
As our foreheads met and I stared into those brown eyes, I just knew our future was filled with even more joyful moments than this one, holding his face as he smiled at me softly, kissing him:
"You and our child are my whole world, Bi Han."
Kissing me back, he only turned away as there was a knock on the door, getting up to see Kuai and Tomas.
"I truly hate to interrupt brother-" Kuai began, just for Bi Han to immediately shut him down:
"Whatever it is, it can wait. I just learned that I'm going to be a father."
"But-" Tomas went to step in but stopped as he registered what Bi Han had said, "Wait a second. Y/N's pregnant?"
"Yes, she is," Bi Han clarified, shocked but smiles on their faces as they learned that they'd be uncles, Kuai congratulating us and making eye contact with me:
"That would explain why you've been sick. Congratulations. I'm happy for you two."
"As am I," Tomas bowed, saying quickly, "Sorry to disturb you, brother."
As they shut the door, Bi Han returned to me, his hand latched to my stomach again. I'd never get tired of that feeling, placing my hand on top of his, squeezing softly:
"I can't wait to meet our baby and be our own little family."

Who knew that the movie The Matrix would awake so many souls ,souls that were desperate for the truth ,the essence never told by those who were in power .All of us living a lie ,an illusion perpetually stuck in a bubble a holographic universe created to keep our souls in a constant place run by machines. But we could leave and create a safe heaven for us. We could teleport, and become a signal that could be restore as we reach our destination.Great imagination you may think but what if Hollywood was right and as those pulling the strings as they have always stated humans are so gullible and easily seduced that even presenting the truth a foot from their noses couldn’t see it.Well ,an exercise in awareness and consciousness.without ingesting a red pill or a blue pill. It’s time to awake and stop dreaming. The truth is simple we have the keys ,we just have to remember why we are here folks.Words by Sergio GuymanProust.

Pairing: Tomas “Smoke” Vrbada x Reader
First time writing for Smoke so I hope I did well!

Being arranged to marry Bi-Han of the Lin Kuei, I thought this new chapter of my life would be the beginning of many good ones.
That turned out to be far from what I expected. Bi-Han wasn’t exactly the lover that I was looking for.
Although he became grandmaster and I was soon to be his spouse, he had business to handle with Lord Lui Kang and I had no knowledge of what exactly was going on.
Not till Bi-Han returned, claiming his brothers Kuai Liang and Tomas were no longer a part of the Lin Kuei, and that he’d no longer be working with Lord Lui Kang.
Any question I had, he didn’t answer, told me that it was none of my concern.
Bi-Han wasn’t exactly the man I dreamed of being with my entire life. I already doubts in the past and this was my breaking point.
He must’ve forgotten that I was a highly skilled martial artist like himself. One night when he finally rested, I snuck out, needing to find Tomas.
I learned that he and Kuai were making their own clan, the Shirai Ryu, and looking to take down Bi-Han and restore the Lin Kuei.
There was so much I needed to get off my chest and I knew I could do so with Tomas. Out of their entire clan, I bonded with him the most and I knew that he’d help me.
It didn’t take me long to reach the Shirai Ryu’s minka, stumbling upon a beautiful garden full of red trees, lit in the night by lanterns.
“Y/N?” Tomas’s voice alone had me ready to burst into tears, running to him, “What are you doing here? How did you find this place?”
“I’ve been following you, but it’s not what you think,” I said quickly, fighting tears and running out of breath, “I can’t stand Bi-Han anymore. I can’t take it. I don’t want to marry him. I don’t want to be in his Lin Kuei anymore.”
“Y/N, breathe. Try to calm down,” Holding my shoulders, trying his best to comfort me, “Are you-“
I already knew what he was going to ask and cut him off with tears flowing down my face:
“I’m positive and mean every word I say, Tomas. You don’t know him like I do and just how terrible he is. I don’t want to go back. Please-“
“Shh, it’s okay,” He whispered, pulling me into a warm hug, “I believe you.”
His hug was everything I needed and more, my tears slowed and after some deep breaths, I didn’t feel so weak and brittle anymore, answering his question from before:
“I have been doing work of my own while Bi-Han has been gone. That’s how I found this place. So I could come talk to you.”
“Showing off your skill I see,” He smiled while rubbing my back, trying to raise my spirit, holding up my head some to connect a gaze, growing serious again as he asked, “I know you’re upset and dealing with a lot right now, but everything you said, you’re sure that you mean it?”
“Tomas,” I breathed in deeply, failing at fighting my tears as I confessed, “He’s never loved me. The only thing that kept me there was you, b-because, I love you.”
I didn’t realize at first how big his pupils expanded, my heart pouring and continuing to confess:
“You’re the one who always made sure that I was okay, spent time with me, made me feel special, instead of treating me like some object. I’m sorry I waited till now to tell you. I was just so scared of Bi-Han and now he’s completely lost it and I didn’t know who else to go to.”
“It’s okay,” He breathed, thinking and pulling back into his hug, his whisper making me cry silently, “Im so glad that you came to me.”
The tears wouldn’t stop coming, shaking as a chilled wind blew past us in the garden, but those shakes coming to halt as his embrace grew a bit tighter and warmer, his voice helping me ease down:
“You don’t have to worry about Bi-Han anymore. You never have to go back. Never.”
“I don’t know what I’d do with you,” I whispered, looking up from his shoulder as he whispered back:
“Don’t trouble yourself thinking about it. I love you too much to let you go back to that monster of a man.”

Every night ,right before going to bed. This has been the case for millions of young Americans in older generations.Long before the advent of technology. When the ritual of getting tucked into bed meant ,saying your prayers, having a light snack ,having your mother or father reading a fairy tale or two until you fell asleep. Your parents blowing the candles and darkness filled the room . The silence filled the room and in some cases ,those imaginary friends came out to play. Those days are gone ,but I still remember and crave those sweet cookies and milk when night rolls in and nostalgia comes calling. I’m sure some of you feel the same way about your childhood memories that will never be forgotten.Words by Sergio GuymanProust.

About Time

Pairing: Hwoarang x Reader
Summary: Training together as they shared the same master, Hwoarang struggles to accept that he lost to the reader in the semi-finals, facing his rival Jin Kazama in the finals, and when the final match takes an unexpected turn, Hwoarang's true feelings for his close friend, the reader, rises to the surface...

"What bull!"
Hwoarang only made me laugh as I followed him into the hall while the rest of the semi-finals were ongoing. We had both trained together with our master, Baek Doo San and when the King of The Iron Fist Tournament was announced, we both wanted to enter. Although Hwoarang's motivation was different than mine, I still gave it my all, and in the semi-finals, I managed to beat him in the toughest fight I've been in yet.
"Don't act so surprised!" I poked at him with a confident smile, "We've trained together for how long? You should know that I'm no pushover."
"I know," He groaned, huffing out in frustration and looking out to see that Jin Kazama had just won and would be seeing me in the finals.
That didn't help with his attitude; he gritted his teeth and was more frustrated that he couldn't get his hands on Jin now.
I think that it did somewhat help him accept his loss to me. How he gazed into my eyes showed that he respected me and my skill. There was still some attitude in his tone, but he put up his fist towards me, murmuring:
"Just beat up that punk, Jin, for me."
"Say less," I chuckled, fist-bumping him and sharing a smile, the determination to win in my gaze.
Heading back down to the stage, I had to focus. I had never faced Jin like Hwoarang, and I knew he was nothing to scoff at. Jin was the leader of Mishima Zaibatsu before and has won tournaments before.
Getting in stance as we faced off, I saw Hwoarang watching, how his eyes told me that he believed in me, which made my desire to win even stronger. I didn't want to let him down and get even closer to winning this whole tournament.
Just as I expected, Jin was making me work for this, but I ensured that every time I hit him, a lot of fire was packed into it.
At the climax of our fight, we were both sweating and panting, trying to end this. I sent out a kick that he blocked, but I could flip and hit him with my other foot, which sent him back. Running to close in our distance, I went to hit him with my signature kick that no one ever took without getting knocked out.
Mid-air, everything was in slow motion, and his eyes... They were red suddenly, these weird markings on his forehead. I could hear the growl he let out before he hit me with a punch that was so fast to see, feeling the unbelievable impact in my stomach.
It felt like I got struck by lightning or something, spitting out a loud groan as it sent me flying clear into the fencing of the ring, curling up into a ball. I was scared that my ribs may have been broken.
"I-I-" I was crying, not from the pain, but the fact that I had to say these words, holding up my hand, "I give."
"Your winner! Jin Kazama!"
The crowd was thrilled to see what a good fight that was, but something was up with Jin. His eyes were brown again, and when he looked at me, it seemed that he didn't realize what he had done, eyes filling with shock and concern as he saw me in this defeated and wounded state.
"Y/N..." He gasped, coming over to help me, "I'm-"
Reaching his hand toward me, there was this huge pop from the crowd, feeling a gust of wind and an angry yell:
"Get your damn hands away from Y/N!"
My pupils expanded at the sight of Hwoarang zipping in front of me, kicking Jin's hand away, then kicking the shit out of his chest that sent him reeling.
I knew that Hwoarang had been itching to get his hands on him, but this was different. The crowd was eating this up, and I noticed security coming in, trying to stand by, gripping and clinging to the fence.
"C'mon Jin! I'm not finished with you!"
Hwoarang was bouncing quickly in his stance, watching Jin like a tiger ready to strike as he was climbing off his knees, but something in me wouldn't let me sit and watch this, groaning out:
"Hwoarang! Stop it-"
That weird blow Jin hit me with really did a number on me, Hwoarang freezing and coming back to me as I fell to the mat again.
"I have you," He said quietly, his voice filled with anger, but he stuck to his word, scooping me into his arms.
It was already enough with how I felt so down from losing, now seeing Hwoarang like this. I was so much more emotional, hated how I looked so weak while curled up in his arms, both our eyes darting over to Jin, who was holding his chest from Hwoarang's kick, holding out his hand toward me:
"I never intended to harm you, Y/N..."
Staring intensely into his eyes, I felt he was telling the truth but hiding something about himself. When he punched me, it was like he transformed into something with this strange power that he didn't have control of. None of his previous strikes during our fight had such malice, making me question what happened to him during that last strike.
"Shut the hell up," Hwoarang spat, staring a hole through him and turning away with me, following the security line out and to the trainer's room.
Luckily, none of my ribs were broken, as I feared, but I needed to be wrapped up and some cold therapy for the pain. My head was hung low, confused and disappointed in myself, but my head perked up a little as Hwoarang stood before me, clearly still pissed and crossing his arms:
"So, what happened out there? I thought you had him."
"I thought so too," I sighed, staring at the floor as I told him what happened, "But while I was going to hit him with my kick, his eyes... They changed to red, and when he punched me, it was so strong and weird... I don't know how to describe it."
"His eyes turned red?" This perplexed him, but he let out a deep, angry sigh as he seemed to remember something, whispering under his breath, "That's right. He's got some strange power."
"What do you mean by that?" It was now clear to me that there was something about Jin that I didn't know, and the thought of it didn't cross Hwoarang's mind because he was so worked up about not making it to the finals.
There was this strange and suspenseful moment of silence, staring into each other's eyes as he mentally tried to find the words to explain it to me.
I didn't even care at that moment, my head falling again in disappointment, whispering to him:
"I'm sorry that I lost..."
"Don't even worry about it," He said quickly, squatting to look me in the eyes, smiling softly at me, "Seriously. You still gave him one hell of a fight."
"Thanks..." It was nearly impossible not to smile back, even if it was just a little, going back to the typical ways of our dynamic and poking at him a little, "I never seen you so pissed off before, just for me... Thanks for being there for me."
"Y-Yeah..." He stuttered a little, his cheeks turning pink as he stood back up and looked away, "It's no problem."
I had to laugh at how adorable he looked, holding my ribs but giggling to keep my pain down as he turned from pink to red, snapping at me playfully:
"Who are you laughing at, huh?!"
"I'm sorry," I wheezed softly, wincing at my ribs and seizing up.
"Stop laughing before you hurt yourself even more," He scolded, holding me upright by the shoulder, squeezing and getting some of the tension in my body to go away.
"That Jin sure is strong," I panted quietly, the pain making me say, "I should've let you kick his ass."
"Yeah, you should have," His eyes rolled but fixed on me, growing with more anger towards Jin as he noticed how hard I closed my eyes, fighting off some tears. Sitting me up in a position where my ribs wouldn't hurt as much, hugging me softly and whispering, "You can let it out if you need to, okay?"
As much as we toyed and messed with each other, knowing how deeply he cared for me made my emotions spike up again; gently hugging him back, again trying to cope with all the feelings by joking around again, whispering to him:
"Thanks, you big softy."
"Cut me a break," He huffed, chuckling himself and making me freeze when his head laid on mine, whispering back, "You should know by now that you're special to me."
My heart started pounding, something deep in my heart making me tilt my head, gazing up at him:
"Hey, Hwoarang..."
"Yeah?"
I couldn't contain how I felt about him, kissing him when his gaze met mine. His kiss back was so soft and sweet, holding his cheek as it grew deeper, his arms still gentle as they closed around me more.
Our lips broke away with a quiet gasp, but we shared a smile, telling him:
"You're special to me, too."
"Well, yeah, it's me." He was always so cocky, making me roll my eyes playfully, but I was the one who was all flustered when he kissed me when I wasn't looking, winking at me and chuckling as I looked at him with butterflies multiplying in my stomach, "About time this happened..."

The Way You Are
Tumblr media
Pairing:  MK1!Kenshi Takashi x Reader
First time writing for Kenshi so I hope I did well!
Summary: Returning home to the reader who was worried about his travels with Lord Lui Kang and his fellow champions, the reader is in shock when they see that he not only has Sento, sees what Sento can do, and also learns why Kenshi came back wearing a red band across his eyes...
Warnings:  MK1 story mode spoilers (If you don't know what happened to Kenshi in story mode lol) Slight swearing, established relationship, little flirting toward the end (And that's it, pretty much!)
Word Count: .9k

Kenshi setting out to find Sento already worried me since he was going on this conquest alone, being his only support, and learning how it turned out to be much more than finding Sento put me in distress.
It took him some time, but he finally came back to me, telling me over a phone call; his low tone built up more anxiousness, but I was glad he was finally back.
Learning about the realms and how he was being sent to Outworld was a lot to take in as it was all new knowledge to me, and I was relieved when I saw the hilt of a new sword out the window.
He must've gotten his hands on Sento! Hearing the door open, I nearly jumped for joy but came to a slow halt once I saw a blindfold covering his eyes.
"Kenshi?"
"I did it, Y/N," He started smiling at me, pulling out the centuries-old sword to show me, "I have Sento."
"I never doubted you, Kenshi," I smiled back, nervous to ask, "What's with the blindfold?"
"About that," He sighed, hand caressing the red band, clearly nervous to explain why he was wearing it, "Don't worry. I can still see, sort of."
"What happened while you were gone?" My voice grew stern as I approached him, wanting to know what he was hiding, going to touch the band, but he gripped my hand:
"You don't want to see. Don't worry about it. I'm fine."
"I do," I said more sternly, showing him that I was acting out of care, "I want to know what happened because if someone did this on purpose, I'd gladly visit them."
"That's not necessary," He huffed, letting my hand go, "It wasn't intentional."
"Please, just let me see," I whispered with a sweeter tone, his deep sigh a signal to allow me to lift the band, seeing how his eyes were gouged, "Oh my goodness."
I covered my mouth with a hand as tears filled my eyes, angry at the thought that someone would do such a thing to him, someone I cared about more than anyone.
"This wasn't intentional? Are you kidding me?" This disbelief was strong, unable to accept that this was somehow an accident.
"It truly wasn't, Y/N," Taking my hand to provide comfort, he assured me, "But as I said, there's no need to worry. Sento gave me back my sight in its own way."
"What do you mean?" I knew Sento was a mighty sword but didn't understand until he entered my living room.
"See how I can move around with no issues?" He pointed out, watching and beginning to understand, blown away as he wielded Sento, "Just watch."
Going to a fake plant I had in the corner, he sliced the leaves into pieces, my jaw dropping at the blue aurora that flowed around Sento's blade, not believing my eyes:
"What the hell? What was that, Kenshi?"
"Sento has my ancestors within it," He explained, "They guide me, make me stronger. I can finally free my clan from the Yakuza and their crimes."
I still couldn't believe what I witnessed, but I knew it was true. I ran to hug him as he put Sento away, hugging him tightly and praising, "I knew that you could get Sento back. You will fulfill all your goals. I know it."
"Thank you, Y/N," He hugged back, squeezing me as he whispered, "Thank you for always being the one by my side."
"Forever will be, Kenshi," I vowed, holding his face, staring at that blindfold and only able to imagine the hell and pain he went through to make it this far; there was still a far way to go.
Tears swelled in the corner of my eyes again, and he quickly noticed, trying to apologize:
"I know that I worried you while I was gone, and seeing me like this-; I'm-"
"It's okay," I assured, swallowing a breath to shake off the sad tears and mean wholeheartedly, "You came back to me, and if Sento brought back your vision in a new way, that's all that matters. I'll always love you the way you are."
My last sentence made him smile, his embrace warming with his words, "I may have lost my eyes, but I'm not easily defeated. Don't stress over me. I'll always come back to you."
"You better," I teased but meant firmly, bringing his lips to mine, filling our connection with all the passion in my heart that I had for him, making him chuckle some as our lips briefly parted, "Or you better take me with you."
"You'd be in for culture shock. I'm not even sure if that's what I should call it," We laughed more, but I was serious despite my giggles:
"Maybe, but I'd still go and kick the hell out of anyone who even thinks of harming you."
"So protective," He joked, smirking at me while gripping my hip, "I still have skills, you know?"
"I am protective, and I own that," Kissing one more time as I hugged him again, I made sure he knew all my actions and words were made from love, but also trying not to be too serious and play along, wiggling the hip in his hand, "And trust me, I know you have all kinds of skills."

Quick Note: This was a request from my Wattpad! Johnny is the color yellow in dialogue, and Kenshi is blue!

"So, you guys finally going to tell me what the big deal is?"
Johnny, Kenshi, and I became great friends after being chosen as Lord Lui Kang's champions. Although our tasks as champions were no longer our top priority, we were still friends and helped each other in life.
Kenshi went on to work for the new international agency, the OIA. Johnny was doing great things in Hollywood, but I still had a goal to fulfill.
"We have a surprise for you," Kenshi hinted, able to hear the excitement in his voice as they led me into his office. Johnny added as he flashed a smile:
"And you will love it!"
"Just tell me already!" I groaned, pouting at them, "I'm too impatient for surprises."
"Well, let's just say-" Kenshi began, Johnny ending for him:
"We're finally repaying you for saving our lives."
----------------
"Y/N, just run-"
Kenshi got his eyes gouged out, Johnny was wounded, and we were trapped in Shang Tsung's repulsive laboratory, terrifying tarkatan clones trying to attack us.
"We'll just drag you down," Kenshi pleaded in defeat, "Save yourself."
"Not a chance in hell!" Smashing down those clones with my magic, I finally got all of them, needing all my strength to keep Kenshi around me, Johnny in my free arm as he couldn't walk, determination beaming from my heaves, "There's no way I'm leaving you, guys! We'll make it out of this, I swear! Just hang on for me."
It was hard to escape as they needed my strength and guidance, but I was bound to prevail. Enemies kept coming for us, and my determination only grew stronger, facing not only Quan Chi in the living forest soon after but his abomination in Ermac, keeping my promise to Kenshi and Johnny as I stood firm and tall before them, squaring off with Ermac:
"You'll have to kill me if you think you'll lay so much as a finger on my friends!"
Ermac was strong and he was able to knock me down a couple times, but I kept getting right back up.
“Y/N, please, save yourself!”
I was struggling to get up, half my face in the dirt but seeing that monster going after Kenshi and Johnny, he must’ve thought he finished me off.
Something completely took over my body. I couldn’t feel a thing, my vision like pictures, seeing my fist charged with magic, punching Ermac into the ground with it crumbling beneath him, roaring:
“I TOLD YOU! YOU WON’T LAY A FINGER ON THEM!”
--------------
"Guys-" I sighed, shaking my head at them, "You don't need to repay me for that. You're my best friends, and that's what friends do. So-"
"Ah, ah! Zip it!" Johnny shushed me, placing a finger over my lips; Kenshi was joking but serious as he shut the door:
"Too bad. We're repaying you."
"With that?" I wondered, knowing they wouldn't give this up, swatting Johnny's hand away and observing as he went over to a safe with Kenshi.
I tried to peak over them to see but didn't have a single clue as to what they were planning to surprise me with. Clueless, my eyes fixed on Johnny's hands, something hidden in his palms.
"You were right about friends helping each other," Johnny began to smile at me. This must have been something important, but nothing was popping into my mind for some reason.
"Instead of us 'repaying you,' consider this to be us helping you out," Kenshi smiled, looking as Johnny opened his hands, and what I saw nearly made me faint.
My ancestors were warriors, and for centuries, there was a stone they passed down from generation to generation. It held imaginable power, and with that power came wick beings who wanted it for their evil ambitions.
I searched far and wide for it and failed to find it. It wasn't its power that I wanted, but to bring it home where it belonged, with me and my people.
"W-Where-" I swallowed, shaking from the shock, hesitant to touch it, "Where did you find this?"
"Shang Tsung came after me because of Sento," Kenshi explained, "We're dealing with him, but during an ambush, I found that in one of his secret laboratories."
"We know how much this means to you, so," Johnny held it out with a smile, urging me to take it, "It's all yours now."
"This can't be real," I whispered, pupils expanding as I took it delicately. It was beautiful, sparkling colors of the rainbow as it shone in the light, this weird feeling soaking and washing over me. My life felt complete with this stone in my hands, happiness overtaking me so strongly that I began to cry, repeating, "This can't be real."
"It's real," Kenshi patted my back softly, relating to me, "I know how it feels. When I finally got my hands on Sento, the feeling was indescribable."
"You're welcome," Johnny mumbled jokingly, making me giggle and smile more at the stone, clenching it tightly in my fist as I jumped to pull them both into a tight hug, crying happily:
"Thank you so much. You two are the best, I swear."
"It's what friends do, remember?" Kenshi reminded me, hugging me back, as did Johnny, who squeezed me:
"You saved our lives; it's the least we can do."
I couldn't ask for greater friends; they changed my life for the better and continue to do so; my heart was overwhelmed with joy, needing them to know that I meant wholeheartedly, "You guys are the best thing that's ever happened to me."

Be Careful What You Wish For
Tumblr media
Pairing: Dracule Mihawk x Reader
First time writing for Mihawk, so I hope I did well
Summary: After running into Shanks and having a lot of drinks, the reader finds fun in poking at their rival, Dracule Mihawk, who arrives; their poking and teasing at one another leads them to a predicament that makes the reader see Mihawk as more than their rival
Warnings: Drinking, Shanks being a drunk goof (LOL), flirting
Word Count: 0.8k

“Y/N!! Sit down and have a few drinks with us, yeah?!”
Red Haired Shanks. It was no surprise to run into him, and I should’ve known that ‘a few drinks' would be a lot.
I was laughing and chatting it up with Shanks at this bar he and his crew stopped by, nearly clearing the place of liquor. There were no hard feelings between Shanks and me, so I wasn’t scared to let my guard down, even when my rival walked through the door.
“Mihawk?! What a lovely surprise! It’s just one big pirate party in here, aye?!” Shanks was so drunk he was wobbling in his seat, encouraging Mihawk, “C’m ‘ere and get a drink!”
“Drunk as usual,” He shook his head at Shanks, coming to the bar where we were sitting, eyes darting over to me, “I didn’t expect to see you here.”
“It’s a crazy world we live in,” I shrugged, smirking at him, “You, of all people, should know that.”
“That I do,” He mumbled, obviously having an attitude when Shanks butted his head into our conversation:
“OH MAN! I just realized you are both here! A little birdy told me that Y/N can rival your skill, Mihawk! Is that true?”
“Don’t make me- “
“Oh, it’s true,” Laughing and cutting off Mihawk, which filled in his words with a bit of annoyance:
“I’ll admit, Y/N is very skilled with a sword. “
Mihawk sounded like he meant those words but was staring at me. I wasn’t in the mood for any hostility, ignoring Shanks’ drunk ranting and winking at Mihawk:
“Relax, hon. I’m not in the mood to have a duel unless you show me a new sword.”
I referenced a specific ‘sword’ of his by quickly glancing between his legs then back up into his eyes, giggling as he got a drink from the bartender, till he leaned over the bar and mumbled:
“What’s so funny? I know for certain that is a ‘sword’ that you wouldn’t be able to handle.”
“Is that a challenge?” Cocking my eyebrow, we just stared deeply into each other’s eyes, but of course, this conversation was ruined by Shanks, who only heard my last words, exclaiming:
“Holy shit! Ya gonna have a duel and put on a show for us?!”
“Shanks, you drunk fool,” Mihawk groaned to himself, taking a sip of his drink while I handled Shanks:
“Sorry, stud, but we’d probably destroy this lovely establishment.”
“Awe, c’mon!” Shanks was too funny to me, cheeks bright red as I stood and said my goodbyes:
“Maybe next time we meet, I’ll put on a show for you.”
“I’ll hold you to that, Y/N!”
Waving and heading out of the bar, I needed to sleep off this buzz before leaving this island in the morning, but footsteps behind me caught my attention.
“Why am I not surprised? Did Shanks convince you to ‘put on a show’?”
“If I did, he’d be stumbling out here to watch,” Mihawk was telling the truth, but my hand rested on the hilt of my sword instinctively, “It’s a bit tempting, though. I noticed that you have a new sword.”
“You’re a bad liar,” Rolling my eyes, I wielded my sword, standing up straight and offering the duel, “Looks like Shanks is going to get what he wanted after all.”
“Who said that I was lying,” Running a fingertip across my blade, he analyzed it before pushing it down to the ground, standing before me, and getting his dig in on me, “Besides, I’d hate to break your new sword.”
“Oh my, I didn’t know you were a comedian in your spare time,” I dished back, putting my sword away.
“How funny,” One thing I didn’t expect from Mihawk was how soft his hand was as he patted my cheek, leaving me speechless for a change, a slight smirk on his face, “You should be grateful that I enjoy having a sparring partner.”
“Sparring partner?” Brushing off my fluster with a scoff, I gave another smirk back, my boldness shining through as I stepped closer to kiss his cheek, whispering to him, “I’m your rival, honey. Now, maybe a little grateful that I don’t show you what I can do?”
“I’m so scared,” He murmured, the tips of our noses brushing together, and it was hard to deny how much I liked having him as a rival, very much enjoying the teasing we kept dishing at each other.
“I wasn’t talking about my new sword,” Licking at my lower lip, I began to fight screaming temptations, observing as he removed his hat.
“You drank too much with Shanks,” He sighed, leaving a peck on my cheek, “We’ll have to see if those feelings remain next time we cross paths.”
Standing there holding my cheek, I was too stunned to speak as he stood tall, put on his hat, and turned away, ready to go about his way.
“You better prepare then,” I couldn’t let him walk away having the last word, but he surely did when he turned his head to me, smirking before disappearing into the night:
“Be careful what you wish for, darling.”

First, the elves, then a devil.
Events took a sharp turn that I did not see coming, but I didn't let that stop me from fulfilling my duties and protecting my kingdom and its people. The aftermath was quite messy, but I tried to make the best of it.
"Y/N, what a lovely surprise."
I decided to visit my closest friend, William. He was sitting in a tree by the Golden Dawn's quarters, watching the sunset, his bright eyes flashing through his mask.
"Hey friend," I smiled up, climbing the tree.
"I can come down-"
"It's fine," Climbing up and joining him in the branch, my smile spread to his, "That wasn't much of a struggle."
"I'm glad," He nodded, eyes gazing back to the sunset, as did mine, the sight being one of nature's purest forms of beauty.
"The view from here is gorgeous," I whispered in awe, using that to ease into the conversation I came here to have, "Nothing like a nice view to clear your mind."
"Indeed," He whispered back, still staring at the setting sun as I looked at him:
"I know you recently had an important talk with King Julius. Are you doing better after everything?"
"I do feel better," He sighed, seeing the emotion in his eyes as the sky fell into a darker orange hue, "I feel lighter now if that makes sense."
"I understand," I nodded, taking his full attention as I rested my hand on top of his that was resting on the massive tree branch, whispering, "I know there are some others that may think differently than I do, but I want you to know, William, you're still the same William that is my best friend."
"I couldn't ask for a better friend," He sniffled softly but was still smiling, his hand beginning to shake, and it confused me till his hand started reaching for his mask.
We had been friends for a long time, but I'd never seen his face. However, I was happy that he was confident enough to show me, seeing a dark purple tone along the top of his cheeks, all the way up to his white hair.
"You were hiding a birthmark?" That's what I assumed it was. Only curious and not expecting his correction:
"It's from a curse that was placed on my mother's family."
He'd never been so open to me, putting his head down, holding my hand with both of us, a tear dropping into it as he whispered:
"I imagine you can understand why I keep it hidden. I do feel better now that the truth is out, but I still feel-"
My heart hurt seeing him crying; quickly scooting closer to him, his hands squeezing me harder as I took his cheek, lifting his eyes back into mine.
"William, I don't know a soul who's gone through what yours has," I began, fighting through a few tears of my own, but a smile on my face as I reminded, "But as I said, you're still the William that I hold dear to my heart. I know that your heart is pure, my dear friend."
"My face may be cursed, but I do have one blessing," He smiled back, sniffling as he took my other hand, "That blessing is you."
"Cursed?" I giggled softly, meaning honestly, as I kissed his cheek, "I think you're handsome. Curse or not."
"Is it okay if I continue to be honest with you, Y/N?" Getting confirmation from my nod, it felt as if a bright light was shining from within me when his lips found mine, the light shining brighter as I pressed my lips into his more, gasping slightly as our lips parted, his gorgeous purple eyes glimmering into mine, "You are my everything. "
My heart was beating calmly but so hard. Lost in his sparkling eyes, the purple in the sky coloring us and the tree, smiling more as I nuzzled my nose against his, interlocking our hands:
"I feel the same, William."

The Finish Line
Tumblr media
Pairing: Timeskip!Manjiro Sano x Fem Reader
Summary: Continuations of The Grim Future:
Tracking down Chifuyu and trying to leap back to the past to fix the horrible future that the reader is in, she's completely thrown off track when Mikey follows her without her knowledge, assuming things and she leaps back from Mikey's touch instead of Chifuyu, she doesn't expect the past she lands in, nor the future she finds...
Warnings:  Manga Spoilers! Slight swearing, Use of a gun (in other words someone gets shot), a MxF slap. It is Bonten Mikey in the beginning! (But that's about it!) The rest of this fic is so sweet I swear!
Word Count: 2.7k
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It took some sneaking around, but in a relatively short time, I tracked down Chifuyu. He owned a pet shop in the city, and I had to lie to Mikey, but I needed to see Chifuyu.
There was no way I could live like this. Yes, I was with Mikey, but he wasn't the Mikey I knew. I didn't know exactly what I had to do in the past to change our future, but I knew that this wasn't meant for us.
The store Chifuyu owned was impressive, and it was nice to know that my friends did something with their lives. I didn't want to approach him directly as just being there had my emotions running wild, and when I saw Chifuyu step out of the back and to the register to help one of his employees, an exchange of glances was all we needed.
The longer I stared into his eyes, the more tears I felt swelling up. He nudged his head toward the backdoor, so I rushed outside to meet him in the alleyway.
"Y/N, it's about time I ran into you-"
"Chifuyu-" I panted, silencing him as tears streamed down my face, shaking in the knees as I cried, "I need to go back. I need to go back now."
"Why? I know that we couldn't save everyone, but-" Chifuyu was only confused but quickly learned why I was panicking as I cried harder:
"It's so much worse than you think, Chifuyu."
"Try to calm down, okay?" He was only trying to help, holding my shoulders and trying to help ease my cries so I could talk, "Just tell me what's going on."
"Have you heard of Bonten?" I didn't need to ask; the expansion in his pupils showed that he knew of Bonten, nearly breaking down completely against him as I whispered, "I'm second in command of it. Mikey is the leader, and they all do such horrible things. How did this happen, Chifuyu? How did I fail again?"
"Oh my gosh," He whispered in shock, holding me up as I collapsed in his arms, looking up to him:
"Please, Chifuyu-"
"Hmm, this is what you've been hiding from me, Y/N?"
Fear never struck me as hard as it did when I heard Mikey's voice behind me; I whipped around to see Mikey and Sanzu behind him.
"No, Mikey! This isn't what you think!" Panicking, I fell to my knees, even bowing to him to show that I wasn't lying, "It will sound crazy if I tell you the truth, but I'll do so if I have to, just please-"
"Shut up," He growled, leaning down to snatch my wrist and pull me away from Chifuyu, "Sanzu-"
"I got this," Sanzu snickered, my heart falling as he pulled out a pistol with a silencer, making me scream out:
"No! Mikey! PLEASE-"
Before me or Chifuyu could react, Sanzu had already pulled the trigger, crying so hard that I couldn't breathe as Chifuyu's body fell to the ground.
"Oh my god-" I choked out, trying to break Mikey's grasp, "Chifuyu!"
"You've been acting weird, suspicious too," Mikey murmured, gripping my wrist even tighter, pulling me so we were face to face, never seeing such a dark look in his eyes, "You think I wouldn't find out?"
"It's not what you think!" I yelled out of sadness and anger, trying to break free just for him to slap me.
I never knew Mikey's strength till then. My head was ringing as I dropped to the ground like a ton of bricks, just from a slap. As much as it hurt my heart and made me cry even worse, I needed to save Chifuyu, crawling to his body, but before I could reach him, Sanzu snatched me by the shirt:
"We have to get out of here. Think you two can handle this somewhere else?"
"Oh, we will," Mikey growled, my hand smacking Sanzu away.
"No! No! No! No!" I sobbed, screaming one last time as Mikey took my hand, "Mikey, stop!"
Tumblr media
"So, how's she ride, Y/N?"
Huh? What happened? Where was I? To go back to the past, I needed Chifuyu, but for some reason, it happened when Mikey held my hand.
"Hey! Be careful! You're swerving!"
I was on a motorcycle, and that voice; it was so familiar. Looking to the left, I saw short, black hair flying with the wind. They finally looked at me, and it was Baji?! But he was younger.
Still accelerating, I stared at him in shock. It was really Baji. Not paying attention to the road till he yelled out:
"Y/N! Watch out!"
"What?" Looking ahead of me, I slammed right into a telephone pole, hitting the ground hard.
"Are you okay?!" Baji came to a screeching halt, parking and running to my side.
The pain wasn't even that bad. I picked myself up and stared at Baji, shaking because it had already been so long since I last saw him on Bloody Halloween.
"Say something! You're weirding me out!"
"Hey, what happened?!" Kazutora. He pulled up next to Baji's bike, running over to check on me, "Y/N crashed?!"
"Yeah, and she won't talk!"
"B-Baji. Kazutora-a-" This was real. I went back much further than twelve years and, with them in front of me, live in the flesh. Looking at my reflection against the metal pieces of my bike, I was much younger, too and I just started bawling, "Baji! Kazutora!"
"Let's get her checked out," Kazutora recommended, helping me stand. I hugged them tightly, like I'd never have that chance again.
"C'mon Y/N. I think you hit your head," Baji exclaimed, trying to pry me away, so I nodded, limping over to his bike:
"O-Okay."
The crash wasn't that bad. I could tell that I wasn't injured or anything, but they were all so confused as to why I wouldn't stop crying.
In the hospital bed, I kept trying my best to calm down, but if I was this far in the past, how would I be able to fix things and go back to the future? Was Mikey my pathway back now? I had so many questions, overwhelmed with more emotions as I heard another old, familiar voice:
"You said that she won't stop crying?"
"Yeah, but nothing's seriously wrong with her! Just a few scratches," Baji was explaining something to that voice, shaking again with silent tears flowing as Shinichiro walked through the door into my hospital room:
"Maybe she's just upset about her bike."
Shinichiro didn't even cross my mind. He was alive too. Trying to help me with a soft smile:
"Hey, girly. It's not like you getting into an accident. You ride better than all the boys!"
He was only trying to raise my spirit, but I started sobbing again, holding out my arms:
"Shinichiro!"
He was such a kind soul, hugging me and reassuring me, "Hey, don't cry. You're okay, and that's what matters. Don't worry about your bike either. I'll fix it. It'll look like nothing ever happened to it."
"T-Thank you," I panted, needing to breathe just to freeze again as Draken came in next with Mikey:
"Y/N! You, okay?"
Picking my head up, my eyes locked with Mikey's, and I could feel this zap between us.
"The doctor said she's okay. She's just a little spooked," Shinichiro explained, standing and patting my head, backing up as Mikey ran and hugged me.
I was going to run out of tears with all the crying that I was doing, trying to keep my whisper to Mikey as quiet as possible:
"Do you remember?"
"I do," He whispered back, swallowing a breath as he was fighting tears of his own, too, "I remember everything."
Squeezing him hard, I was shaking like a leaf, and Mikey noticed everyone's confusion, whispering quickly:
"Relax. We'll fix everything. I promise."
Finally, I grew a grip on myself and stopped crying. It did feel good to know that everyone I cared about was alive and that I had one more chance to make things right.
Knowing that I probably wouldn't get another chance, I didn't want to live through another hellish future after all the ones I'd already gone through.
Since we were young and Toman wasn't formed yet, Mikey and I decided to create Toman again, but this time, bringing everyone, even the people we were once enemies with. This wouldn't be a gang, more so, a path. A path to a better future, where we all do something meaningful with our lives. No more violence and death.
It took a long time, but we got everyone we needed on that path, standing alongside Mikey as the time finally came, his voice commanding out:
"Toman is now disbanded!"
Everyone was confused by this, but that quickly faded and led them towards the light of a bright future as Mikey encouraged:
"Go on and live your lives to the fullest. Accomplish your goals and dreams. There is more to life than we think. So please, think deeply about these words, and most importantly, don't let me down."
Something in my heart made me feel so good inside as they all saluted Mikey one last time, going their ways, smiling brightly as some talked about what they wanted to do in the future. Chifuyu wanted his pet store, Smiley and Angry wanted to open a ramen shop. Mitsuya planned on becoming a fashion designer.
I wanted to see all those dreams come true more than anything in this world, gazing at Mikey as I heard him sniffling:
"We did it, Y/N."
"Yeah," I sniffled back, wiping my eye, "I'm pretty sure we did."
Nodding and offering his hand to me, my heart started racing. We truly did not have anything to fear about, but I was so nervous.
"I know what you've gone through, Y/N. I wouldn't do this if I didn't know we'd succeeded."
"I agree, but it's just so scary to me still," I admitted, taking a deep breath before smiling softly, "Even so. Even if I have more to do, I'll do it."
"You've done it all," Mikey smiled, tears of happiness falling down his cheeks, "I'm sure I'll see you as soon as you get there."
Tumblr media
"C'MON! YOU'RE SO CLOSE!"
My gosh, why was it so loud?!
Covering my ears, Draken was standing next to me, wearing a headset and yelling. In front of me, a wire fence and motorcycles were racing. We were at a race?
"YEAH MIKEY!" "YOU GOT THIS MAN!" "MIKEY! MIKEY!"
Shinichiro. Baji. Pah. Kazutora. Mitsuya. Takemichi. Everybody. Everyone was here. Quickly looking at a sign, this was the Grand Prix, and as the bikes raced by, I just knew it was Mikey, in black and yellow, neck and neck with another racer, trying to get to first place and win.
We actually did it! The happiness took over me, with tears and a smile, jumping as Mikey started to get the lead, and I started screaming:
"YOU'RE GONNA WIN IT, MIKEY! YOU CAN DO IT, BABY!"
Right as I got out my last word, Mikey crossed the finish line, and I jumped for joy, screaming and cheering, shaking Draken:
"HE DID IT!"
"HELL YEAH!" Draken yelled back, Mikey coming to the pitstop, and we all started losing it. There was confetti, bottles popping, all of chanting:
"MIKEY! MIKEY!"
Once Mikey was parked and had his helmet off, he ran to me, hugging me tight and spinning.
"That was so awesome!" I smiled, finding his gaze, and as he smiled back, he started sniffling.
He didn't need to say anything. I knew that he realized that I was back for the last time. No more time leaping. No more struggles. Just us, our friends and family, together with no more worries.
It was obvious how much his blood was pumping, everyone whistling and cheering as his lips smacked into mine.
It took a long time to get to this point, but for the first time, I felt true happiness. Kissing him back, I didn't want to stop but hurrying to back away and squeal as they dumped a keg of water over him, presenting his trophy.
I hurried to take out my phone and take pictures as Draken put Mikey on his shoulders while Mikey raised his trophy high, everyone coming down to celebrate with him.
The sight of all of us together was something I'd never forget.
Not much later, things settled down so Mikey could handle the business aspect of the race. There was a party planned too, so till it was time to go, I talked with Emma and Hina, my smile not leaving my face for even a second.
"It's time to party!" Hina was chanting and dancing with Emma, everyone leaving the stadium, offering my hand to Mikey:
"Ready to go celebrate some more?"
"Oh yeah," He smirked, holding my hand and watching everyone go, "I'd like to talk to you first, though."
"Oh," I wasn't sure what he wanted to discuss, but I agreed, "That's fine."
"Follow me," He instructed, leading me to the racetrack.
There were so many tire marks, and I'd never been on a racetrack before, so I was in awe as he led me to the field in the middle, admiring him:
"I knew you were good on a bike, but I can't believe how fast you were going. It was awesome, Mikey."
"I got skill," He smiled back at me, and it was the first pure smile I'd ever seen from him; a little nervous as I asked:
"So, uh. What did you want to talk about?"
Taking a few steps, his back facing me, I could hear the emotions that he was fighting:
"I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you. I wouldn't have won that championship either."
I had a gut feeling this would get emotional, my heart skipping and beating harder as he continued:
"You have gone through so much. I put you through so much. Every future you saw, I kept choosing the wrong path, did so many horrible things, and despite all of that, you still loved me the same. You never gave up on me."
"Of course not," I sniffled, tears forming as I saw the ones in his as he turned to look, "I've always loved you, Mikey. You went through hell every time I leaped. That wasn't the real you. I wasn't going to stop till I changed that. Even if there are more challenges for us in the future, I'll never give up."
"I know, but don't worry. I know there are no more challenges for us," He smiled through his tears, coming to stand before me, "I only need you to know how much I love you for that, and I need to know one last thing."
"Yes?" I wasn't sure where this was going. I nearly fainted as he got down on one knee, pulling out a diamond ring from his pocket:
"Marry me, Y/N?"
I had to cover my mouth to stop the cry that almost shot out of me, crying as I nodded frantically, fanning my face with both hands as I gladly accepted:
"Yes! Yes, Mikey!"
Taking my hand and putting on the ring, he quickly hugged me, kissing me hard and squeezing me into a warm embrace.
Hugging his head, I wanted to stay there and kiss him forever, but I needed to breathe before I passed out, both of us heaving but smiling as I whispered:
"I love you, Mikey. So so, much."
"I love you too-" He smiled back, eyes shooting up towards an exit in the stands as we heard a sharp, echoing squeal:
"GUYS! GUYS! MIKEY JUST PROPOSED TO Y/N!"
Hina and Emma. They must've been looking for us and saw what happened.
"DID YOU SAY YES?!" Hina yelled out; Mikey and I laughed at first, but he picked me up as I yelled back:
"I SAID YES!"
"WOOO!" All the guys came over too, cheering and yelling:
"BOUT TIME!"
That made me laugh even more, snug in Mikey's arms, our future secured and only great things ahead of us.
