The only family that Jake speak is about his cousin 'Little J'.

Jake tells them a lot of cute child story for example how he read a lot of bedtimes stories to Jake, they slept together if one of them was scared, sometimes they even sneaked in Little J big brother room, or how much they love hug watching tv.

Now he is a man, some years older than Jake, who left his work to travel around the USA. Rarely he calls because doesnt have a phone, he prefers to send letters.

Dagger, Mav and Ice always immagine him as one of those hipster that they see always around San Diego.

The day when all Dagger families come for a family picnic, they are all curious to finally see this Little J, and the man who came is him...

For once Ice feels little when is near him, Mav in his mind call him 'Goliath' and Dagger ask why Jake call him "Little". Bradley is scared to the core when Reacher says to him "Dont you dare to break his heart".
