As much as I loved Arrow100, there were so many issues, the more I go back and rewatch it. I’m starting to question if I even know Diggle anymore, seeing that this is the last thing I would ever think he’d want.

A big regret of Sara’s is getting on the gambit with Oliver, and this is a reality for her where she never did that: betray the only person who never betrayed her. A big regret of Thea’s is not loving her mother enough, and this is a reality for her where she gets to do just that: love her mother. A big regret of Oliver’s is not getting married to Laurel, and this is a reality where he gets to do exactly that: marry the person he never deserved.

It makes the characters of Ray Palmer and John Diggle seem out of place in this world, and there is such a lack of substance to their purpose in the stasis. I just feel so terrible for these two characters who’s main focus is lost.

What if, AK and GB really did want that for Diggle, to constantly want what Oliver had? Then it would all make sense although would make me question the validity of their friendship and brotherhood. It’s just, it would’ve been so simple for them just to say that Diggle’s family isn’t broken and he still has baby Sara, you know? Like, you don’t even have to show me at this point, I’m willing to take scraps as long as they make sense. 

If anything Arrow 100 only emphasized more to me as to why it is that Felicity just does not fit in the Arrowverse, seeing that it made no sense for her to be in the stasis, as she served no purpose other than wallpaper.
