You felt his hand move over your left side and then play with the bottom of your tank top. He had seemed far away recently but yet he was still sweet. You looked at his face and ran your hand over the slight scruff there. Yes you knew about his trials and what it was like for him when he came home from a case. “ So do you want to talk about it ?”

“ About what ?”

“ Whatever is rolling around in your head. I know you’re home but you seem distracted baby.” Your lips nipped below his left ear gently.

“ I’m still catching up on my sleep.”

“ All right when you’re ready we’ll finish the conversation .”

His hands gently moved you closer to him. Your head rested on his chest and you felt him wrap his arms around you while he drifted off. Sometimes he could get clingy when something had rattled him .

You patted his chest with your hand and then curled up.

He had sometime off and the two of you were having pizza with the squad at Olivias tommorrow night . Maybe he would share then.

You pulled the soft well worn blanket up over bath of you. He couldn’t part with it , his grandmother had made it for him years ago. You understood the sentimental value. After all you wore your mothers bracelet on your wrist as much as possible when you worked with the squad at SVU getting their paperwork in order before it came to Rafael to be signed off on.

When you heard his soft snore you got out of bed quietly and walked over to your bedroom window. There were a few leaves blowing around in the October wind.

The next morning you got up and started some coffee for the two of you . You heard the shower running and knew Rafael would be finished with it in a few minutes. You didnt wash your hair everyday because it got too dried out with the heat from your dryer and flatiron that calmed the curl in it down . You were looking through your closet to choose what you were going to wear to work .

“ I vote for your purple shirt.”

“ Well thank you for making it easier counselor.” You turned and smiled at him picking out some chocolate brown pants to go with it and low heeled boots.

“ Since I have the day off I think I will throw some laundry in. What are your feelings about that new Italian place by the squad for dinner?”

“ I should be done by six so I can meet you there.”

He kissed your lips then. “ Good.”

You smiled at him and the two of you ate breakfast . He made you an extra mug of coffee to take with you.

“ Let me know how Amaro is feeling, heard he tweaked his back a few days ago.”

“ I will, you hear more about the squad then I do and I work there everyday.” You laughed .

“ Well I have known them for a while longer than you have.”

“ True.”

“ Have a good day carino.” He smiled and hugged you for a moment.

“ You too, try not to get too frustrated with your sudoku .”

Hey everyone. First off, I miss being on here so very much...but I have been struggling with my health a ton. In the past month a lot has changed. I have been diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Systematic Lupus. A few days ago one of my doctors mentioned that I fit the bill for EDS, or Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Which I’m so happy someone finally realized after having joint pain for so long. I’m also in the process of being tested for Addison’s Disease and a heart condition. I need all the strength I can, please keep me in your thoughts. Hey you guys. Quick update on me. The last month has been a hard one on my body and on my emotions. Sadly my condition is getting worse and worse over time and no medications are helping. My parents are trying their hardest to find some answers for me. Hopefully we do find something and get a diagnosis and figure out what will help me in the long term. Thx for your patience.
