Random Tangled AU idea
Instead of letting Varian go to prison, Adira, who has clearly been observing things for a while, decides to interfere and breaks him out then and there, whisking him out of Corona without much of a plan beyond ‘this is Quirin’s son’ and ‘he can translate the scroll’
Oh well, she can figure that part out later. After she figures out how to get the Sundrop to trust her after the stunt she pulled.

#tangled the series#I really wonder how long Adira was there in S1 since it seems like she witnessed the battle of old corona#and knew who Varian was and how he related to Rapunzel#I like to believe she was keeping an eye on him from a distance#but anyway I don’t have much else in mind here just picturing Adira dropping Varian off at the Great Tree to study scrolls#and bond with bearcats#and then try to proceed with Season 2 like nothing happened#Rapunzel and co (and Hector) are not amused#but Varian does indeed get to bond with bearcats#tts varian#tts adira
