it genuinely pisses me off that ukraine has to resort to pointing at its civilian death count to garner sympathy and action from the world.

can you even imagine how many of our soldiers have laid down their lives to push russia back? for some reason, there is this belief that soldiers’ lives do not matter once they become combatants, yet before they took up the role they were ordinary civilians just like the rest of us. they were teachers, bakers, students. they had peaceful lives, they have families, and they just want ukraine to be safe and at peace so that they may return to those lives.

they matter, they count towards our death toll, yet people see news of our soldiers passing and dont even spare a second glance. they are ukrainians too, they matter. with every day that russia invades us, ukrainians are dying, whether they are civilians or not.

So it's been a year since October 7th and people STILL don't know about the 1200 murdered, 256 kidnapped (101 still in hamas' hands) and at least another 26 people killed from rockets launched at Israel - 12 of them are children under 14.

It's been a year. And people. Still don't know about the sexual violence on October 7th. And how so many families got to bury (and barely) their children, parents, brothers and cousins only a month or two later.

It's been a year and there are people who don't know hamas members kidnapped a 9 months old baby and his brother, a 4 year old. They are now almost 2 and 6. And kidnapped another 4 year old. And an 80 year old.

And they were all left without family.

October 7th massacre was a bunch of abominations terrorists who gets good treatment because idiots living in Europe, USA and anywhere besides the active war zones, actually hate the one Jewish state in the world. Something I think that a lot of the people who deny Oct 7th forget is that when they deny the atrocities that happen, they are negatively harming jews who were not harmed during Oct 7th, who potentially don't live in Israel who have had similar things happen to them.

I was raped for being jewish back in 2018. I won't go too into it but it happened because I was Jewish and antisemitic slurs and words where said to me during it.

When I saw people denying the mass rape of Oct 7th, the first thought that entered my mind was

"oh, these people probably wouldn't believe that I was raped for being jewish even though my rape happened years before Oct 7th"

UN: 'Reasonable grounds' to believe rape was committed in the October 7 attacks.

A new report by the United Nations has established that there are 'reasonable grounds' to believe that rape and gang rape occurred during the October 7th terror attacks led by Hamas against Israel. The UN mission interviewed survivors and witnesses of the attack, and examined 50 hours of video footage and thousands of photographs to arrive at this conclusion. The Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict said she and a team of experts had found "clear and convincing information" about rape and sexualized torture. The report also said that some claims of rape could not be verified, but there was "convincing information" that hostages taken from Israel were, and might still be, subjected to sexual violence during their captivity. This is heartbreaking. When you need to coin a new word for the evil Hamas rejoiced in. Torturing, mutilating, and killing infants and children in front of parents; torturing, mutilating, and killing parents in front of children. Burning families alive.

There is no justification for this.

This was evil, plain and simple. Everyone who supports Hamas also supports this. Hamas will die -- as an idea and as a group. It's inevitable. When the name is spit on or forgotten in history books, and cowards round the globe hastily distance themselves from what they so fanatically supported not so long ago -- when all that happens, Israel will still be there.

But in the meantime, if you can look at crimes like this and still support Hamas, still insist Israel has no right to exist, still insist Israel doesn't have the right to win a war she didn't start -- May God have mercy on you. (Hamas won't.)

Where are these women who wore these clothes? Where are they now?

Are these women displaced? Maybe in a refugee camp.

Or were they raped and murdered?

Maybe these guys are just perverts but didn’t actually do anything to them? But they are so brash and arrogant.

I truly have no clue about the fate of these women. And that terrifies me.
