I saw this post months ago and immediately tagged it as Them but when i saw it again recently I knew i had to finally draw it

i loved that part in sweet tooth s2 where after johnny leaves the preserve with rani in ep6 we catch a glimpse of them in the finale living their best lives.

i love how much their friendship had the space to grow and flourish under their newfound freedom.

i loved their little conversation about how their loved ones both lost themselves with the need to keep the two safe. the pain in how after a while they knew it stopped really being about them anymore. the regret over the things their loved ones have done that they've stood by and let happen without protest that wasn't either too little or too late.

the silent promise in how that conversation ends. the air of never again and the hope of we'll be better than we were yesterday, tomorrow.

and finally the shot of rani's shaking pinky, and with it the bittersweet reminder of however many tomorrow's we have left.

I really like how Rani is written. There's this cunning side that really knows how to read and manoeuvre people, eg the way she gets Johnny on her side. A lot of it is inconsequential to the bigger picture of the plot, even her own storyline, so it feels like a nice touch that they gave her those strengths.

whos your favorite sweet tooth character

This is actually kind of a difficult question. Obviously I love Johnny more than life itself, but so many of the characters are so important to me. I also love Aimee, Becky, and Rosie, and I was a huge fan of Rani and Adi when they were a duo (s3 and second half of s2 Adi fight me).

I also think Gus is kind of a perfect protagonist, and Douglas Abbot is the perfect villain.

Basically what I'm saying is I love all the characters, but yeah Johnny is probably my favourite overall
