25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

I think his character grew on me with time. ..

When I first played Miracle Mask he appeared as slightly annoying and a douche to Angela ngl, he was one of my fav character of the franchise but yeah he definitely went to far and barely listened to his friends concerns which exasperated me a lot :')

Still liked him very much because of his cheerful energy and the strong bond he shared with Angela and Henry ( and Layton ofc) , the story of Monte D'Or itself made me cry sm. .. Like it's build on friendship and love and hope, mlp vibes much haha

Now that I've replayed it recently I think I see his character with a new perspective,mostly because I headcanon Randall with Adhd and I'm able to better understand his flaws and qualities like the relationship with his father or towards Angela, or his clear hyperfixation on archeology, unlike when I first played it and didn't overthink that much over the characters.. .

so yeah, definitely a fav but really appeared as stubborn and annoying at first, in the end he's just a silly guy full of energy and traumas 😔✌️
