10 Daily Cricket updates 01 April 2022
Today I am going to share with you 10 daily cricket updates March 01 April 2022 With accurate information. So, without delay let's get started with 1st update. 1- 7th Match IPL 2022 CSK vs LSG Highlights. Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings are facing each other in IPL 2022. Chennai's team lost its second consecutive match in Tata IPL 2022, Lucknow Supergiants defeated Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets and registered their first win in this seasons IPL. This match is being played in Mumbai. Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Chennai Super Kings scored 210 runs for seven wickets. Super Kings batting first scored 210 runs for seven wickets. Robin Uthappa scored 50, Shivam Dubey 49 and Moeen Ali scored 35 runs for Super Kings. At the same time, Dhoni also played an important innings in the end. Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi took two wickets each for Supergiants. Lucknow Super Giants won the match by six wickets with three balls to spare. This is the fourth biggest chase in the history of IPL. For Lucknow, De Kock scored 61, KL Rahul scored 40 and Evan Lewis scored 55. Lucknow Super Giants Playing XI :- KL Rahul (captain), Quinton de Kock, Evin Lewis, Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, Aayush Badoni, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, Dushmanta Chamira, Andrew Tye. Chennai Super Kings Playing XI:- Ravindra Jadeja (Captain), Rituraj Gaikwad, Moeen Ali, Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni, Shivam Dubey, Dwayne Bravo, Tushar Deshpande, Dwayne Pretorius and Mukesh Chaudhary. 2- Kane Williamson fined INR 12 lakh by BCCI. BCCI has always been very strict about its rules and we got to see another example of this in the match of Rajasthan Royals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad. BCCI imposed a fine of Rs 12 lakh on Kane Williamson due to slow over rate in TATA IPL 2022. Along with imposing a fine of Rs 12 lakh, BCCI has also given a warning to Kane Williamson. According to the warning given by BCCI, if the slow over rate mistake is repeated twice, then Kane Williamson may have to sit out for 1 match of IPL 2022. Kane Williamson is the captain of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team and if this mistake is repeated, then he may have to sit out and this can also have a big impact on the Hyderabad team. However, before imposing fine to Kane Williamson, the BCCI had also imposed a fine of Rs 12 lakh on Rohit Sharma due to slow over rate. Both these captains were unable to finish the overs at the time fixed by the BCCI, due to which the BCCI has fined to both these captains. 3- BCCI put 33,000CR base price for Media Rights. On Tuesday, The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued tender for IPL media rights for 2023 to 2027. The BCCI is hoping to make a windfall of about Rs 50,000 crore. The secretary of cricket board in India Jay Shah has announced the new tender of media rights for IPL from 2023 to 2027 in his official Twitter account. Now the board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) has announced huge amount of INR 33,000 crores as the minimum bid for media rights of IPL from 2023 to 2027. The last date to purchase the tender document is May 10. The auction will likely be in June. The stage for a possible bidding war between Star, Sony-Zee, TV18/Viacom18 and Amazon among others. This season also Star India have tender for IPL media rights, Star India community had confirmed IPL media rights in 2018 for the next 5 years till 2022. The IPL media rights tender, confirmed by Star India, is set to expire after the 2022 IPL this year. In 2018, Star India gave 16,347.50 crore ($ 2.55 billion) to BCCI for IPL media rights. But for the coming 5 years, BCCI has estimated ($6 billion) for IPL media rights. Which is probably possible because IPL is the most watchable tournament in the world and it is going to rise in future as well. 4- Mitchell Marsh could take part in IPL 2022 by 6 April. A lot of questions are already being raised on the availability of Australian players. Because, at present a bilateral series is going on between Australia and
Pakistan. The Test series between Australia and Pakistan is over, but the T20 and One Day ODI series is not over yet. So many players from Australia will miss the first 2 to 3 weeks of IPL 2022. Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been ruled out from the Pakistan tour due to a hip flexor injury. Due to the injury, there were more chances that Mitchell Marsh could not participate in the 2022 IPL. But now a good news is coming from the Australia Cricket Board that Mission Mars is recovering from his hip flexor injury and may also participate in IPL 2022. Mitchell was bought by Delhi Capitals in a mega auction for Rs 6.5 crore. Mitchell Marsh is going to join the team Delhi Capitals on 6 April after the white ball bilateral series against Pakistan is over. But it is not yet officially confirmed that Mitchell Marsh will not be able to play IPL 2022. There is already a shortage of overseas players in the team of Delhi Capitals either due to injury or due to respective bilateral series. On April 6, both David Warner and Mitchell Marsh are going to join the Delhi team. But if Mitchell Marsh does not fully recover from his injury, then only David Warner will join the team of Delhi capitals (DC) on 6 April. Mitchell Marsh is going to play key role as a all-rounder for Delhi Capitals. But if he could not able to join team Delhi due to his injury then Delhi Capitals will have to find a possible replacement for him. 5- Statement of Ravi Shastri on Umran Malik. Umran Malik came to the notice of the Indian Premier League (IPL) because of his fast pace bowling. This season also in IPL 2022, Umran Malik is seen impressing everyone with his fast pace bowling. Umran Malik bowled at a speed of 150+ in Sunrisers Hyderabad's net session even before the start of IPL which was noted. Umran Malik took 2 wickets for 39 runs in his entire 4 overs in his first match of IPL 2022. After Umran Malik's good performance against Rajasthan Royals, former India head coach Ravi Shastri has given a big statement on Umran Malik. The former Indian head coach said in the statement that "I believe this guy has talent." He has genuine pace, and if he hits the right spots, he will cause problems for many batsmen. It's all about how you handle him. The messages you send him, as well as the manner in which you communicate with him, will be crucial. "There is no doubt about his ability. This player is from India. Only time will tell when he will be ready, but communication is critical. He should treat with caution and kept in the mix". When the former India head coach was asked how to handle Umran Malik for the future, he made a statement saying that the fast bowler be brought in as a net bowler for the Indian team to get a feel for the team culture. "He should be kept in the Indian cricket team's A team".The selectors will have to keep an eye on him and keep him in the mix as much as possible. "Have him there if this COVID thing continues and you need net bowlers or an extended party".

10 Daily Cricket updates 30 March 2022
Today I am going to share with you 10 daily cricket updates March 29 2022, With accurate information. So, without delay let's get started with 1st update.
1- 5th Match IPL 2022 SRH vs RR full Highlights. Rajasthan Royals (RR) kicked-off the season with a commanding 61-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 5 of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Chasing 211, SRH got off to the worst possible start as Prasidh Krishna and Trent Boult combined to rattle the top-order. Skipper Kane Williamson was dismissed on 2, while Rahul Tripathi and Nicholas Pooran failed to open their innings. Meanwhile, Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal provided RR with a solid start after they were invited to bat first. The pair added 58 runs for the opening wicket before Jaiswal was dismissed by Romario Shepherd on 20(16). Umran Malik then dismissed Buttler on 35 off 28 balls. Sanju Samson along with Devdutt Padikkal added 73 (41) for the third wicket, before Padikkal was cleaned up by Malik on 41 (29). Samson completed his half-century but was dismissed soon on 55(27) by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Shimron Hetmyer then took charge and played a late cameo of 32 in just 13 deliveries, helping his side post 210/6 on the board. In response, SRH could only manage 149/7 in their 20 overs. Thus the Rajasthan Royals (RR) comfortably won the 5th Match of IPL 2022 by 61- runs.
2- Mitchell Marsh could miss entire IPL 2022. This year, many overseas players will not be able to participate in the IPL 2022 due to bilateral series or injury. Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh is all set to miss the 1st ODI against Pakistan on March 29 after he suffered and injury while training. Mitchell Marsh has reportedly suffered a hip flexor injury and is likely to miss entire ODI series against Pakistan. This also put his IPL 2022 campaign in doubt as well. Mitchell Marsh was picked up by Delhi capitals (DC) for 6.50 Crores. Mitchell Marsh could miss entire IPL 2022 due to his injury.
3- Moeen Ali has joined Chennai Super Kings. As I mentioned in some of my previous post, England all-rounder Moeen Ali has not been able to reach India due to non-confirmation of visa. But now after the confirmation of visa, Moeen Ali has joined Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Moeen Ali could not play the first match of IPL 2022 chennai super kings vs kolkata knight riders due to unavailability. But now Moeen Ali will be seen playing all the matches ahead of Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2022. Moeen Ali's return to the Chennai team can benefit CSK a lot.
4- Statement of Yuzvendra Chahal on RCB. In this season's IPL 2022, Yuzvendra Chahal will not be seen playing for the RCB team as the Bengaluru team did not retain Chahal or bought him in the mega auction. For the last 7 years, Yuzvendra Chahal was playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team, but now this street is broken. Yuzvendra Chahal will be seen playing for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in IPL 2022 this season. Although Chahal has represented Rajasthan Royals before in 2010, but in that season Yuzvendra Chahal did not get a chance to play a single match. After being dropped from the Bengaluru team, Yuzvendra Chahal has made another big statement on the RCB franchise. Yuzvendra Chahal has said that "I would have said yes if RCB asked me if I wanted to stay on, but they didn't, was told they would go for me in the mega auction". It is clear from this statement that Yuzvendra Chahal wanted to serve the Bangalore team even further. But the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team did not even ask Chahal before dropping him from the team.
5- Ness Wadia interested to buy 1 women's IPL team. The BCCI has refused to organise the Women's IPL this year. Like every year, this year too BCCI will organize women's exhibition matches in place of women's IPL. There will be no Women's IPL this year, but the BCCI has confirmed that the Women's IPL will be organized in 2023 next year. Co-owner of Punjab Kings Ness Wadia has given big Statement on Women's IPL. Punjab Kings co-owner Ness Wadia said that, "We would be more interested to own a team in women's IPL". The BCCI had contacted the current IPL team owners and asked if they would buy teams in the women's IPL to be held in the future. Women's Cricket viewership is very less So, Most of the current IPL team owners have refused to buy women's IPL team except Punjab Kings co-owner Ness Wadia.

IPL: Complete list of all tied matches and Super Over results | Cricket News
Tie breakers are always very exciting. Be it in any sport. In limited overs cricket, including in the IPL, over the years, we have seen many such nail biting encounters. The current method of breaking a tie that is being used is the Super Over. A Super Over is basically a single, additional over played by both teams, with the team that scores more runs in the Super Over, emerging as the winner of the match. TimesofIndia.com here takes a look at all the tied matches in IPL history and the subsequent results determined via Super Overs: Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders – April 23, 2009, Cape Town The first ever IPL super over was played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), in the second season of the IPL in 2009. Rajasthan Royals won the match after both teams finished with 150 runs Kings XI Punjab vs Chennai Super Kings – March 12, 2010, Chennai Kings XI Punjab finished as the winner of the Super Over here and won the match with the scores tied at 136 in a 2010 match. Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore – April 7, 2013, Hyderabad Sunrisers Hyderabad emerged as the winner of the match after the super over was played between SRH and RCB in this 2013 match. The scores were tied at 130. Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Daredevils – April 16, 2013, Bangalore Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Delhi Capitals, via a super over in this 2013 match played between the two teams. The scores were tied at 152. Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders – April 29, 2014, Abu Dhabi Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) once again tied a match in the 2014 season and the match was decided via a super over. Just like their first Super Over face-off in 2009, Royals defeated Knight Riders again, after the two teams were tied at 152 runs. Kings XI Punjab vs Rajasthan Royals – April 21, 2015, Ahmedabad Kings XI Punjab defeated Rajasthan Royals in this tied match in the 2015 edition of the IPL after the scores were tied at 191 Mumbai Indians vs Gujarat Lions – April 29, 2017, Rajkot Mumbai Indians defeated Gujarat Lions in this 2017 IPL match in Rajkot in the 10th edition of the tournament. The scores were tied 153. Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders – April 30, 2019, Delhi KKR were involved in yet another tied match in the 2019 edition of the IPL and once again finished on the losing side, this time against the Delhi Capitals after the scores were tied at 185. Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad – May 2, 2019, Mumbai Four time IPL champions Mumbai Indians played their second tied match in the IPL last season. They once again finished on the winning side via a Super Over, after the scores were tied at 162. Delhi Capitals vs Kings XI Punjab – September 20, 2020, Dubai In the current season, the first tied match was played between DC and KXIP. Delhi Capitals defeated their opponents via a Super Over in this match in Dubai, after the scores were tied at 157. Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Mumbai Indians – September 28, 2020, Dubai Dubai hosted another tied match this season between RCB and MI. RCB won the match after the scores were tied at 201
Photo credit: BCCI/IPL Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad – October 18, 2020, Abu Dhabi Two time champions KKR were involved in yet another tied match. This time in Abu Dhabi in the ongoing 2020 season. KKR defeated SRH in this match via a Super Over, registering their first win in a tied match in the IPL. The scores were tied at 163.
What a victory for @lionsdenkxip. They win on second Super Over.#Dream11IPL https://t.co/rT9WpB8gi4

Kings XI Punjab vs Mumbai Indians – October 18, 2020, Abu Dubai IPL season 13 is turning out to be one of the most thrilling seasons so far. The League has not yet finished and it has already seen as many as three Super Overs. In fact for the first time ever, a single IPL match saw a double Super Over. October 18 in fact saw both matches played finishing in ties. This also happened for the first time in IPL history In the second match of the day, played between Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians, the scores were tied at 176. The first Super Over then also finished in a tie, forcing a second one to be played. Punjab held their nerve to win this most thrilling of contests International cricket too has seen many tied matches. Two such matches which cricket fans can never forget are listed below: 2019 ICC ODI World Cup final Super Over between England and New Zealand When we are talking about Super Overs, how can we forget the 2019 ICC ODI World Cup final Super Over, which was played between eventual champions England and New Zealand? For the first time ever a World Cup final was being decided by a Super Over after the scores were tied at 241. However, the Super over too finished in a tie. England were crowned champions on the basis of the boundary count rule, because they had more boundaries than the Black Caps (26-17). This rule was heavily criticised and has subsequently been scrapped by the ICC. The new rule for knockout matches states that a Super Over will be repeated till there is a clear winner. 2007- T20 World Cup Bowl Out between India and Pakistan Before the Super Over was used by the ICC, a Bowl Out was used as a tie-breaker, to decide the winner in a Cricket Match for some time. It was similar to a penalty shootout in football or hockey. In the inaugural edition of the ICC T20 World Cup in South Africa in 2007, India and Pakistan played out a tied match in the group stage, after both teams finished on 141. 5 bowlers were picked from either side for the bowl out, where the bowlers had to try and hit three unguarded stumps. India took a 3-0 lead with Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh and Robin Uthappa hitting the stumps. And when Pakistan’s third bowler Shahid Afridi missed the stumps, the Men in Blue won an unforgettable encounter.

Coronavirus: Delhi Government Bans IPL Matches, Other Sporting Events
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday made it clear that no sporting activity will take place in the national capital, including the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. Addressing a press conference, Sisodia said: "We have decided to ban any sports activity where people will gather in huge numbers like the IPL. Social distancing is important to curb the breakout of coronavirus." In its order, the Delhi government said: "In exercise of the powers conferred by the Delhi Epidemic Diseasees, COVID-19, Regulations, 2020 under the Epidemic Diseases Act 1987, it is hereby directed that sports gathering (including IPL)/conferences/seminars beyond 200 people are prohibited in NCT of Delhi for the purpose of prevention and control of the outbreak of epidemic disease namely COVID-19."Welcoming the order, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said: "It is the need of the hour and we welcome the decision as you cannot have such mass gatherings at this point in time. You cannot decide who has the virus and it is best to avoid the situation."A total of seven matches in IPL 2020 -- beginning March 29 -- were slated to be played at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium on March 30 (Delhi Capitals vs Kings XI Punjab), April 10 (Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore), April 13 (Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings), April 19 (Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders), May 3 (Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad), May 6 (Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians) and May 13 (Delhi Capitals vs Rajasthan Royals).Clouds have been hovering over the IPL 2020 in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak which has infected 75 people in India so far and has resulted in death of one person in Karnataka. The Sports Ministry has already made it very clear to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) along with other national federations that any event that has to be held amid the coronavirus outbreak will have to be behind closed doors.Speaking to IANS, Union Sports Secretary Radhey Shyam Julaniya said on Thursday that if a sports event is unavoidable and has to be organised, it should be done ensuring there is no public gathering."All national federations, including the BCCI, have been told to adhere to the guidelines and advisory issued by the ministry of health and public welfare. We have also told them to avoid any public gathering and if a sporting event has to be organised, it should be done without gathering of people."It is the state government who has to manage the crowd and who have the power under the epidemic diseases act (Epidemic Act of 1897). If it is unavoidable and it has to be organised, then they should do it without collecting the crowd," he pointed. The central government on Wednesday suspended all visas, barring a few categories like diplomatic and employment, in an attempt to prevent the spread of coronavirusAll the eight franchises have already said that they are okay with the idea of the IPL being held with empty stands. But they wish for their foreign players to be made available from the start of the season.Speaking to IANS, an official of one of the franchises said that with the government making its stance clear and the World Health Organisation (WHO) declaring the coronavirus outbreak a "pandemic", there is no other option than to play the match behind closed doors."See, the gate money is no issue as these things are insured. As for the fans, it is disappointing, but we don't really have much of an option as we have to abide by the diktat of the central government and even WHO has declared the outbreak a "pandemic".
