I zhink I have some owl facts somevhere, let me just find zhe files. I keep alot of bird facts on file, mein liebe loves zhem! Atleast I zhink he does!

Anyvays, anyvays, I dont vant to get off track, I found zhe files I need. Lucky zhey're in arms reach of me right now, ja?

Owls can turn zheir heads up to 270° due to how zhey cant move zheir eyes like ve can! Zhey manage zhis amazing feat of biology by having 14 cervical vertebrae! Zhe reason zhey cant move zheir eyes is because zhey are fixated into zheir skull, und zheir eyes actually take up most of zheir skull space! Quite ironic for birds related to visdom! Zhese giant eyes dont even help vizh sight much eizher, zheir eyesight is actually quite poor, vorse zhan mine vhen I dont have mein glasses even! Haha! Most owls rely on sound 100% of zhe time, und zhey bob zheir heads to calculate distance! Speaking of zheir eyes, zheir eyes are so huge zhat if you look into zhe auditory canals, you can see zhe back of zheir eyes!

If you own an owl, und vant to teach it anyzhing, zhey must be trained for three months lest zhey forget everyzhing! Such dumb little birds, oh vhat I'd do to own one myself if I verent such a busy man. Back on track zhough, smaller owls in zhe vild even forget vhere zheir nests are sometimes, so zhey have to keep relocating! It sometimes makes me vonder how zhese birds manage to still thrive in today's vorld!

One owl species, zhe great horned owl, is actually zhe natural predator of zhe skunk due to zheir fortunately horrible sense of smell! Speaking of great horned owls, zhey dont build zheir own nests! Zhey actually steal zhem from ozher large birds such as Red-tailed hawks! Great horned owls are actually considered one of zhe most aggressive owl species in zhe vorld asvell!

Owls tend to swallow zheir prey whole after killing zhem, provided its small enough! If not zhen zhey vill rip zheir prey apart! Its quite zhe gruesome display, und I love it!

Alrighty, that should be this blog set up. Still workin' out a few kinks 'n all but now you lot can send us some asks. For context, heres an image of us that should be on the header though its glitching on our end.

From left to right, these are:

Firebug, our resident Pyro. They like going on treks across the badlands, and enjoy bugs. Apparently we're all bugs to 'em. I'm a carpenter bee in their eyes.

Reese, thats me. I'm the one typing all this. Do I really gotta explain myself?

René, our damned Spy whose held me at gunpoint too many times. Hes good at what he does though.

Stanislav or Stas, our Heavy. I havent spoke with 'im much. He aint much of a talker. Though I've heard of a certain someone here who might like him.

Archie, the Sniper. Not much to say about him.

John, the Scout. Hes like a rat sometimes, and has a superiority complex worse than our doc to boot, but hes a good kid.

Terry, our Soldier. Likes planes, surprisingly. He also likes gambling. We've banned 'im from poker night though because hes a sore loser.

Demobot, more of a mystery than Firebug. Though I usually keep him in fightin' form. Hes a robot afterall. Though I swear we were meant to be gettin' a human. Ah well, Demo is a good'n, even though he scares me sometimes.

Rafel, our Medic. Hes crazy, obsessed with some Francis guy, and is the one guy you should avoid talking casually about birds to unless you want an hour long mininum infodump about whatever bird you point out to him. Same goes for him talking about said Francis guy. Or do, it might mean he doesnt kidnap one of us so he can ramble as much as he wants again.

Something else to note is that SOME asks may be a bit on the more suggestive side, which means they will be under the #Askers are horny tag. Which also means yes I will answer suggestive asks if I feel comfortable with them. I will not be prioritising these asks over normal ones.
