The Breakup

Rafał: 

We need to talk.

Cameron:  What's going on?

Rafał:  What do you mean what’s going on? You were hooking up with James at the party!

Cameron:  So?  

Rafał:  What do you mean "so"? You cheated on me!

Cameron:  We never said we were exclusive.

Rafał:  What? Of course we were exclusive! How could you think otherwise?

Cameron:  I never agreed to that. I thought we were just casually seeing each other.

Rafał:  I can't believe this. I thought what we had was real.

Cameron:  It was real for me, but it's not like we had any kind of commitment.

Rafał:  I can't do this. I deserve someone who will be faithful to me.

Cameron:  Whatever, Raf. I'm not sorry for living my life. Things are different out here.

Rafał:  I'm done. Goodbye.

As Dakota's fingers began to dance across the keys, Rafał watched in awe. He had always loved Dakota's musical talent, and seeing him play like this, with such passion and grace, made his heart swell with pride and love.

As Dakota finished his song, he turned to Rafał and took his hand. "I have something I want to ask you," he said, getting down on one knee. Rafał's heart raced as he watched Dakota pull a small velvet box out of his pocket.

"Rafał, you are the love of my life," Dakota said, opening the box to reveal a beautiful diamond ring. "Will you do me the honor of becoming my husband?"

Tears welled up in Rafał's eyes as he nodded his head and said yes. Dakota slipped the ring onto his finger and pulled him into a passionate kiss as they stood on the balcony overlooking the sprawling city skyline of Del Sol Valley.

Rafał:  (getting serious) I've been thinking about us. I don't want to waste any more time. Dakota, will you move in with me?

Dakota:  Yes, Raf, of course I’ll move in with you.

Cameron:  Well, well, well. Look who it is.

Rafał:  Cameron.... What....what are you doing here?

Cameron: Just thought I'd come and see what you've been up to. And how’s the arm candy?

Dakota: I'm his boyfriend, not some arm candy..

Rafał:  And you don't get to talk about Dakota like that. He's my boyfriend and we’re happy together!

Cameron:  Please, Raf. You know you'll always come back to me. You’re way out of his league. 

Rafał:  You have NO right to come and act like you own me. You said it yourself, we weren’t exclusive. I’m with Dakota and you need to leave us alone and move on with your life.

Cameron: Fine. I'll leave you alone for now. But you know I'll be around when you realise what you’ve missing with him.

Dakota: Stay out of our lives, find a hobby. Just get lost. 

Rafał: Leave me alone with my boyfriend.
