Happy Radhastami to all of you Srimati Radharani appeared on the eight day of the waxing moon of Hrsikesha (Bhadra) mase, at noon. “Srimati Radharani is as fully spiritual as Krishna. No one should consider Her to be material. She is definitely not like the conditioned souls, who have material bodies, gross and subtle, covered by material senses. She is all spiritual, and both Her body and mind are of the same spiritual embodiment. Because Her body is spiritual, Her senses are also spiritual. Thus Her body, mind and senses fully shine in love of Krishna. She is the personified hladini-sakti (the pleasure-giving energy of the Lord’s internal potency), and therefore She is the only source of enjoyment for Sri Krishna.

She is Krishna's greatest devotee, the feminine aspect of the Absolute Truth, and Krishna's spiritual energy personified. The highest truth has both male and female aspects. Atibadi Jagannatha Dasa was an Odia poet and litterateur. He was one of the 5 great poets in Odia literature, the Panchasakha. He wrote the Odia Bhagabata.Dasa was born in Kapileswarpur Sasana (one of the 16 traditional Sasana villages in Puri) on Radhastami in 1491, in an established Brahmin family of Kaushiki Gotra. His mother was Padmabati Debi and his father was Bhagabana Dasa.
His father was a speaker of the Bhagavata in Utkala. Pleased with Bhagbana Dasa's elucidation of the Bhagavata, King Purushottama Deva, the then reigning king of Utkala[citation needed], gave him the title “Purana Panda”. He trained Jagannatha to follow him as a Purana Panda. Jagannatha Dasa was almost the same age as Chaitanya. Soon after their chance meeting under the Kalpa Bata, a spiritual kinship grew between the two that developed into a warm, lifelong friendship. Chaitanya was an avid admirer of Dasa and called him "Atibadi."
