#obviously no pressure to do this if you cant/dont want to!#I'm not an albums girly as much as im a playlist girl so this was a fun challenge for me!#Jess this was so much fun thank you for the tag pls keep tagging me in things I can't wait to do the other one too!#I love yapping so I'm gonna explain all my choices now thanks for your patience#I was in a production of SB in early 2024 so I was doing A LOT of listening to the music!! Such fond memories I loved that show#HTBAHB started off my glass animals....year#Ive been a fan for a hot minute but I started listening to the albums in order instead of on shuffle and this one shambled me#also I couldn't listen to it for a while because I would get so worked up about it that it would send me into a spiral but I'm normal now#My best friend and I went to see FOB in NY for the SM(F)S tour and one of my fave memories of the year is running through time square#singing the album at midnight after the concert#Chappell is because I spent most of my summer with my friend Ari and she would play the album nonstop so I associate it so much with her<3#RTC I saw a production at my old college and just fell in love all over again...great album!!#Lover is because I feel like my appreciation for this album grew so much this year#but really could have put any of her albums there#ATBAB is because my gf loves Owl City and we listened to a lot of their songs together and I listened to a lot of their music to connect#and This was the album I'd listen to the most but ocean eyes was a strong contender too#ILYSFM was my album of the year tbh#Loved it SO MUCH#Gf and I went to an early listening party and we went to the tour and it was a lot of fun#And the Outsiders is because I saw the show in previews in March and it was kinda hanging in the background of my mind for most of the year#like I would come back to the album or think about it a lot but it wasn't a hyperfix#and then gf and I watched a boot and the hyperfix hit me full force#Anyway that was a lot of yapping if you're still here thank you for reading!!! I LOVE MUSIC!!!#Oh also honorable mentions are infinity on high and short n sweet n the legally blonde obc
