ROZIE DEBUT EP: Pink Fury

Pink Fury is the debut album of the fictional girl group “ROZIE”. It was released on October 11th, 2020 with the title track "Like It". Their debut was met with mixed reactions at first but quickly captured the hearts of netizens with their confident persona, solid vocals, and visuals. Their concept is a mix of feminine and girl crush, which gives them an even amount of support between South Korea and international fans as their company is good at tapping into both markets simultaneously.

ERA TIDBITS

The rap line got a lot of praise at the beginning of their debut.

The girls were often praised for their dance skills and stage presence, many comparing them to their senior group “HEROES”.

They started off their debut era with a huge boost in international fans but after some group variety show appearances along with Lilli and Nari doing various MC positions on music shows, their Korean fanbase slowly grew to a respectable size.

Effy was the first member to have a fan cam and said fan cam also went viral due to her looks. She became very popular with Korean fans due to her being mixed.

There was a slight scandal when fans noticed a clip in one of the group’s vlogs where Jihye appeared to glare at Effy (who was talking to the camera at the time). Another issue is Effy has a lot of solo stans from her produce and ioi days. Those stans tend to be very vocal against other members but especially Jihye (with the assumption that Jihye bullies Effy behind the scenes when it tends to be the other way around).

Lilli was basically known as the “friend of all idols” seeing as she had many connections and got along with various idols, including Jackson of GOT7, who thinks of her as his little sister and the two often tease each other (which a lot of fans love and often make shit post videos and memes of the two because they’re hilarious together.)

Overall, it was a good start for the girls. Things started off a bit rocky but smoothed out over time and it was a pretty good start for a rookie group.
