Light.

That's the first thing they remembered seeing.

A short man wandered around a bright corridor, a sad smile on his face as he made his way to the bright, glowing soul in the center of the room.

The man had the strangest look about him. He was short and wore a white suit with a red bow. His hair looked like a single strand of silken silver, standing upright and folding into a swirl at the end.

Tsar Lunar XII was his name, though he had several names: Manny, Manfred, and Man in Moon.

He was the bringer of wishes, the light that kept darkness at bay, and once a prince of a fallen kingdom. But right now, he was the guide tasked with awakening the next guardian.

Tsar approached the soul, gently taking the orb into his hands. His smile grew sadder, such a young soul, and tasked with such a large burden.

If it were up to him, he wouldn't have chosen this young soul, but sadly, some things are not up to him to decide.

"Hello young soul," He spoke softly, his hands glowed as he embedded some of his magic into the young soul attempting to awaken it, "it's time to awaken from your slumber."

The soul seemed to react to this, slowly lifting into the air, and growing brighter until in one bright flash the orb expanded.

Colors unknown to mortal eyes danced across the room, weaving a tapestry of shimmering blues, majestic purples, and radiant golds. Each hue seemed to tell a story of the soul's life.

Brilliance engulfed everything forcing Tsar to close his eyes as the light cast all shadows into oblivion. For a fleeting moment, time itself seemed to stand still, light shifted all around, like a star that had just been born, before it all condensed inwards.

Tsar opened his eyes, surprise and wonder in his gaze as he was not expecting such a spectacular spectacle, his gaze soon fell onto the child that now stood in the center of the room.

The child stared at Tsar with as much surprise and wonder as Tsar's. The child was adorned in white silks that almost seemed to glow, their eyes, they were the most beautiful shade of (e/c), and their hair were of similar color to Tsar himself, most likely a result of his magic.

The child tore their gaze away from Tsar, slowly taking in their surroundings. The room was bright, but it didn't hurt their eyes. Confusion filled them yet they did not panic, somehow they knew they were safe.

Tsar stepped closer, catching the child's attention. "Hello young soul," he began, "I am Tsar, but you may refer to me as Manfred." Tsar gave the child a warm yet sad smile as he gifted her a cloak and a lantern "And you are Yu."

Tsar softly patted the child's head his smile never leaving his face, yet he looked anything but happy, he looked terribly sad.

"I am so terribly sorry to gift such a young soul like you with this burden." He apologized to Yu sorrowfully. "While you fill this role you will never age, not psychically mentally, or emotionally. You are forever stuck as a child." He bowed his head, as if in shame.

Tsar gently sighed, "I can not do much for you once you are on earth, so I gift you this amulet."

Nestled within the embrace of intricate filigree silver lay a small, unassuming white stone. Smooth to the touch, its surface glows softly with an otherworldly luminescence, reminiscent of moonlight caught within earthly confines. The silver weaved intricate patterns, each delicate curve and swirl tells a story of craftsmanship. It was tethered to leather and placed around Yu's neck.

"This will shield you from harm, as well as disguise you. As long as you wear it, only those who are truly ready to pass on will see you for who you truly are."

Yu's form twisted as a magical veil fell over them, they grew taller as their (s/c) skin faded into pale bone.

Tsar reached into his jacket and soon pulled out a lantern, crafted from polished brass, its old body is a testament to time's gentle caress. "I also gift you this lantern, for wherever you may be, this lantern will guide you to where you need to go."

"You have been tasked with guiding souls to rest," Tsar told them. "From now on, you will be known as Yu Grim, guardian of souls long passed."

☆ Thousands of years later. ☆

The air hung heavy with sorrow as the young boy watched from a distance, his heart aching as he observed his mother's tear-streaked face as she leaned over his body, softly begging him to wake up.

Amidst the somber atmosphere, a figure approached beside him. Time around them seemed to stop.  Turning his head, the boy spots a young child cloaked in black standing beside him. "You..." The boy couldn't explain it, but somehow he just knew who they were.

"Are you... are you here for me?" the boy whispered.

Yu gives the boy a solemn nod. "Yes. It is time for you to depart from this realm and journey to the afterlife."

The boy glanced back at his mother, his heart-wrenching at the sight of her anguish. "But... can't I stay? She needs me. She's all alone now."

Yu's gaze softened, "I understand your desire to comfort her, but your time in the mortal world has ended. It is a part of the cycle of life."

Tears welled up in the boy's eyes as he struggled to accept the truth. "I don't want to leave her. I don't want her to hurt anymore."

With a gentle touch, Yu placed a hand on the boy's shoulder, their touch surprisingly warm considering they were a spirit themselves. "She will carry your memory in her heart, and though the pain may never fully fade, she will find solace in the love you shared."

As the boy turned to look at his mother one last time, he felt a sense of peace wash over him, mingled with the bittersweet knowledge that he would never again feel her embrace or hear her laughter.

Yu takes the boy's hand, lifting their lantern watching as the flame within it points them to their destination.

I'm feeling sad, so you guys have to feel it too. This is a short chapter, but I promise much longer chapters in the future.

PS I'm purposely making the age vague, so Yu's real age is mostly on your perspective, just know that they died when they were young.

warnings: very vague mention of your death to become a guardian 

growing up, you had always been very kind and just full of love

so, it was no surprise when you became the guardian of love, Cupid

everyone believes you to be this calm and mystical creature, but in actuality, you’re quite...chaotic 

if it wasn’t for North, who you view as a father figure, you’d be causing quite the stir with all of your chaos 

when you first became a guardian, you were confused as to why The Man in the Moon would want you 

aren’t guardians supposed to protect the children or something like that? 

well, apparently that’s not all they do

besides, your love isn’t just romantic love

you also do familial love and friendly love, even though you don’t dabble in those categories much since romantic love is where people mainly struggle

so, it makes sense that you can aide the guardians by helping children find love and be loved

North immediately took you under his wing, which you find out later he does for everyone

he explained the whole guardian thing to you and helped you find your way

Tooth ended up becoming a sister-like figure and Bunny a brother-like figure

despite Sandy being much older than you, you act like he’s your younger sibling, almost like he’s your own child. He’s just so sweet and precious, okay?

when Jack comes into the picture though, all bets are off on keeping you contained 

you two cause havoc together that even North can’t contain 

you two especially like messing with the elves and Yeti, and of course Bunny, to his dismay 

something funny you like to do is whenever anyone in your makeshift family starts arguing (read: Jack and Bunny), you’ll hit them with a special kind of friendship arrow where they basically will forget what they were arguing about and just stand there for a solid two minutes hugging

it’s even funnier when it wears off though since they’ll be disgusted at the fact they’re hugging (before they get mad at you and chase you around North’s shop)

everyone loves helping you out on Valentine’s Day!! 

Bunnymund is usually in charge of the flowers and making all the bouquets and arrangements

North is in charge of the little gifts that lovers will share with one another

Sandy is in charge of giving them all dreams of their sweethearts

Tooth is in charge of sneakily sliding love letters and notes where ever you tell her to 

and Jack is in charge of causing ‘accidents’ to happen. Oh, you thought your books just randomly got too heavy on one side, causing them to crash to the floor next to the hot guy standing beside you which just so happens to grab his attention and make him help you which just so happens to spark conversation between you two? Yeah, I have some news for you

all of them are there for you whenever you get sad that a couple didn’t work out, when someone abandons a child, and so on. They remind you that you’re only one person and that you can’t help everyone all at once 

as for Jack, this could go one of two ways

he can end up being like your brother and best friend combined, or he can end up becoming your lover

it’s up to you what to imagine ;)

Hi! If you're still looking to write something on this blog, I want to request an X reader fic. I have so many request ideas but right now I'll request this one for tonight. I wanna know how Macaque would react and would treat the reader if they had shadow magic/umbrakinesis like him (but uses it in a way that's similar to Raven and Pitch Black from ROTG)

Macaque x Gn!Umbrakinesis!Reader

Pronouns Used: None, no gendered terms either.

Format Used: Bullet point

I'm not sure what version of Raven you mean, but I'm only familiar with the Titans series version of her. So, if that's okay, I'll combine both hers and Pitch Black's.

I honestly think that Macaque would be confused at first with what type of abilities you have. If you're on MK and the team's side his only focus is finding a way to weaken them. If you aren't he'd be interested to see if you'd be able to defeat Monkey King, wanting you on his side.

When he notices your abilities are shadow related and not illusions or creature summoning, his interest would be fully peaked. Now actively trying to get you on his side.

After a while of this pushing he realises that you don't have full control of your powers, they have a mind of their own represented through the creatures you made. The creatures in question resemble normal animals, the main difference being the black dust-looking substance they were made from.

If you told him about the voices you experience, a sort of force that made you lose control when you expressed too much emotion, Macaque would wonder if this was a curse, something you trained and lost control over, or if this was what you dealt with from birth.

The animals were typically friendly and under your control, but whenever in training when he pushed you a little too far, the creatures you created as an escape became something you wanted to escape from. Violent and trying to kill everything in it's path.

He's tried his best to put up the comforting mentor act when they become too much, to help you overcome this. But whatever those things are made from, whatever the other you is made from inside of that mirror, you can't separate from it.

Macaque seems to be a calming prescene to the things you made, he suspected it was the shadow powers he held and the fact he was a demon. This idea only grows after you tell him of your origins, being the child of not only A demon but THE demon.

Macaque would usually make shadow clones to watch over your creations, making sure they weren't causing any unnecessary harm that would ruin his plans. And just because it's a pain to clean everything up.

Honestly, Macaque would grow to enjoy the fact another person has some type of shadow magic like him, it creates a sense of relatability. Even if he is using you at first.

Your powers would come into play when he attempted to sympathise with you, trying to paint a narrative that his abilities worked like yours. They were their own being and used him. And it probably worked, Macaque's sob story becoming a method of making you feel more passionate during training. If you felt bad for him, you'd be more willing to 'help' him overcome his goals to 'improve' his control over the shadow.

No matter your age, given the fact you're a human, you'll always be younger than him. If you're a child or teenager, he won't go too far with his training, he may be a demon but he's not a monster.

Due to the fact you seem to genuinely be afraid and have episodes because of your powers, after a while of the manipulation and lies, Macaque begins to feel guilt. He begins to care for you.

Macaque views the strange voices you hear, the ones that control you and force you do bad things, the monsters in the mirrors, the dark shadow of yourself that appears every time you get angry, as the voices he hears. He doesn't have some strange shadow creature from the underworld inside of him, but it can feel that way sometimes.

His fake sympathy turns to real sympathy, and depending on how you treat him, Macaque would genuinely form a connection, you might to. If you do, he'd convince you to make both of your attempts to take revenge on Monkey King as a full time 'job' of sorts.

You both become a mentor and apprentice type deal, he helps you calm down and have a control over your emotions, and in return, you're the friend he lost so long ago.

Macaque trains with you really often, but the second he feels you straining too hard or he senses discomfort, he stops. Both not wanting you to lose control and not wanting you to dislike him. It's the first time in years he's felt somebody understands him, losing you would mean losing everything.

Overall, I imagine it'd be a hot mess at first, but with conversations and time, it could be a great platonic or romantic relationship!

You watched him amused as he flew all over the place, especially around your room bringing and dropping things on the bed where you were now sitting. It was cute to see him so nervous and anxious.

"Do you need anything else? Chocolates? A blanket? Magazines? Medicine? Cookies?" You laughed in denial and took his hands and pulled him to you as soon as you could get close to him.

"Jack, calm down, okay? I'm pregnant, not invalid." He sighed and nodded and sat down across from you.

"I'm sorry, it's just that... I've never been through this before, I'm going to be a father for the first time and I don't want anything to happen to you? I wouldn't forgive myself." You smiled tenderly and caressed his cheeks softly making him look at you.

"I know love, and I understand you, but I've only been here for two months, there's no danger of me getting up and walking to the bathroom." You gave him a little kiss and the winter spirit smiled to give you another kiss.

"Okay, I'll calm down a little with the attentions."

"I love your attentions, Jack." You laughed and made him lie down with you on the bed, you both hugged each other and cuddled on his chest, Jack took your hand and you started to play with each other with your hands, in silence, but a cozy and relaxing silence.

"Have you thought of a name yet?" Jack sighed smiling and nodded.

"I was thinking that if it's a girl, I'd like her name to be Katherine." You smiled at that.

"I like that name, what if it's a boy?"

"Uff... I have no idea, do you have one?" You nodded excitedly and raised your head so you both could see each other smiling.

"If it's a boy, I'd like his name to be Angel." Jack smiled even more when he heard you and took your hand until he left a kiss on the back of it.

"I love it, little Angel." You smiled and they kissed each other, showing all the love they had for each other and the happiness it caused them to think of the future that awaited them now that they were looking forward, more Jack, to the son or daughter of the Guardian of Fun.

"Jack, love... I'm craving." You pouted once they broke away from the kiss and Jack laughed softly raising an amused eyebrow.

"Oh yeah? After a kiss like that, I hope you're craving of me." You laughed softly and caressed his chest with a flirtatious look.

"Mm... It might be like that..." You whispered and bit your lower lip looking into his eyes. Jack gasped softly and climbed on top of you carefully.

"Then I must fulfill my girl's desires." He purred in your ear then kissed your neck slowly, you smiled and stroked his hair, to get close to his ear and whispered.

"You know what I'm craving exactly, right now?" Jack growled into your neck and tightened his grip on your hips.

"Tell me, baby." You lightly bit his lobe smiling and whispered.

"A pizza with Nutella." The platinum hair guy grunted in frustration and dropped his head to the bed, while you laughed at his reaction, he raised his head to see you with a face of few friends.

"Baby, you just killed the magical moment we were having." You laughed harder.

"Sorry love, but the baby wants what the baby wants." Jack rolled his eyes in denial.

"And the baby wants a pizza with Nutella?"

"Yes, and maybe he doesn't want you to make him another baby brother." He narrowed his eyes, staring at you.

"That's impossible, Y/N."

"Look who's talking, the spirit that impregnated a human." He let out a frustrated sigh in denial.

"Don't remind me of that..."

"Come on, come on, I want pizza..." You pouted taking his face in your hands, Jack sighed and nodded resignedly.

"All right, I'll go get your pizza." You interrump him

"And the Nutella." He sighs.

"And the Nutella..." He got up and picked up his cane from the side of the bed.

"If you come back soon, maybe I'll reward you." Jack grinned wickedly at you.

"With a magical night?"

"Or a slice of pizza?" You smile.

"Y/N!" You laughed loudly and nodded at him.

"Fine, with our magical night."

"That's my girl!" He came up to kiss your lips with a smile. "I'll be back soon, I love you." He went down to leave a kiss on your belly smiling and walked quickly to the window.

"And we love you, love." You smiled when you saw him leaving through the window and sighed snuggling on the bed, you softly caressed your belly with a smile and closed your eyes imagining a little boy with platinum hair like Jack, or a little brown girl like you but with Jack's eyes, it was so beautiful to think that in 7 months that what you imagined was going to come true. "Here we are waiting for you my baby, your daddy and I are excited to meet you..." You whispered and let yourself be carried away by the deep sleep you were feeling, no doubt despite everything that was going to happen with you being a human and Jack a spirit, it was going to be worth it with the arrival of his son or daughter, and you knew that very well inside you.

(You can insert some times he did that if you feel like it) And finally, he gave her a sign (whatever you choose) and she began remembering him again and thought maybe he really existed, meanwhile she was thinking about that he became visible to her and she was just in shook of nostalgia and happiness? I have a BLEACH one with white Zangetsu and Yhwach. (My first...NSFW...which is finished, but ... I'm too afraid to post it..sdlgjdflkjg) 

I have a big Miraculous Ladybug fic that is basically all Humanized Kwami x their wielders, but Plagg x Adrien and Tikki x Marinette are the top ships. It’s a big fic that has been on hold for a long while in my arsenal. 

Then I’m also working on a rewrite of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, main stars being Delphi, Albus, and Scorpius. 

And there’s another fic or two that have been simple ideas, but nothing is written down yet. A gender-bent ROTG Jack Frost and Pitch Black friendship fic, and a Teen Titans / Batman Universe fic where Robin is captured by his grandfather Talon, represented by the Owls of Gotham to become their next brainwashed assassin during his time as Slade’s apprentice. Which, would make Slade not only upset at his stolen apprentice, but also extremely disturbed at this “Illuminati are real” revelation, and a moral conflict battle within himself since Robin would essentially become more like him, a super-soldier. 

IDK I’ve always just wanted Dick Grayson to be more involved in his family’s poisonous backstory. (especially the Dick Grayson from Teen Titans, where the person he detests ends up getting involved and risking not only Robin’s identity, but the entire batfamily’s as well.) 

I have so many fics from so many fandoms that I’m excited to get to or finish, but as of now, I have yet to really dive in and do that. 

I’m a binge poster. I don’t post chapters simply because I know my hiatuses would torture my readers. I wait until everything’s finished so everyone can enjoy my fics without suffering!! 

(I hope to get around to my fics once more in May when I’m on vacation and have a lot of spare time! Hopefully then my Archive Account will be more active.)

Things To Keep In Mind

- I'll be taking my own time with these, so there won't be a due date for me to write them (I mean, if I don't write them in a year, that may send signs I lost interest in writing them) - I'm sorry if there was something you wanted me to write but I didn't list it in the fandoms I'll write for - The list of fandoms I'll be writing for may change by either adding and, possibly deleting some for me leaving a fandom, so this won't be all I write forever - I can't promise that the characters will be portrayed exactly well, but I won't say it'll be the worst in the world... hopefully - You can specify sometimes for a type of AU, maybe a specific trait (shy, blind, self harm, occupation, age etc.) for the reader or canon character if you want - You can also suggest a scene/scenario like "Canon and Reader first meet" or "Canon and Reader get into a fight" those are more simple examples, but hopefully you understand what I mean. - Or you can just say what you want.
