Anderperry Week Day 7: Dating AU

            Neil let out a shaky breath as he scrolled down Todd’s blog. He didn’t even know Todd had a Tumblr. He had only asked Todd to borrow his laptop in order to finish an essay while his was being repaired at RadioShack. But, as per usual, Neil got distracted and went to check  Tumblr. When he found that Todd was still logged into it, well, curiosity got the best of him.

            The other boy was currently in the shower. And after reading his most recent reblogs, Neil couldn’t help but get a little riled up at the thought of the hot water cascading down Todd’s body. It took everything inside of Neil to not stride down to the showers and jump him right then and there.

            Neil had found himself being more and more attracted to Todd since the beginning of the school year when they were assigned roommates. In fact, this was the first time Neil had ever really found himself attracted to another boy, so he hadn’t told anyone yet. Not that his friends would judge him. Charlie was dating Steven Meeks, for Christ’s sake! Neil just wanted to be sure of his feelings before he made a spectacle of himself. And after reading Todd’s blog… it was safe to say he was pretty sure of them. The only thing was, Todd’s blog didn’t tell him anything about his gender preferences. Still, the fact that they attended a secluded all-boys school gave him an opening. And damn it, he was going to use it to his advantage.

            He jumped as the door opened and moved the laptop to cover up his growing erection. Todd flashed a halfhearted smile to Neil as he made his way to his own bed, grabbing his Chemistry homework along the way. He plopped down and backed himself into the corner, already scribbling down his next answer. And Jesus, he looked so cute in his white T-shirt and black basketball shorts, a towel around his neck to catch the droplets of water falling from his hair he had brushed out of his face. He didn’t even so much as look at Neil while Neil couldn’t take his eyes off him.

            Neil sighed as he saved what he had done of his essay to his travel drive and closed the laptop. He stood up and took a step across the room to lightly place it next to Todd.

            “Thanks for letting me use it,” Neil’s voice was gravelly and he immediately cleared it.

            “No problem,” Todd replied, barely above a whisper.

            Neil sat back down on his own bed and looked at Todd for another few seconds before speaking. “Todd?”

            The boy just looked up with a questioning look on his face.

            “I, um, I went to check my Tumblr…”

            Todd’s mouth fell open a little bit, a look of dread on his face.

            “And I was looking at those things you reblogged,” so far, no response from Todd so he kept trudging on, “it, uh, sounds like you are a little bit sexually frustrated. I just wanted to say… I know what it’s like. I mean, there’s, uh, no girls around and stuff…” he trailed off and he was pretty sure his face was just as red as Todd’s was, “So I was just going to let you know… we could help each other out, you know. I mean, if you want. It doesn’t have to mean anything. Just a friendly hand…”

Todd looked mortified, and Neil was pretty sure he just made a giant ass of himself. But finally, Todd nodded. Just a little bit, but it was a nod alright.

“Okay, cool,” Neil said and quickly looked down at the notebook he had pulled into his lap.

“Neil?” he barely heard from across the room.

His head snapped up and looked at Todd, whose face was still beet red. “Can we, uh, do it now?”

Neil could only nod as he got up and made his way across the room. He crawled onto Todd’s bed on his knees and made his way closer to the boy. Todd pushed his Chemistry book off to the side and looked up to Neil in anticipation. Neil leaned down to brace himself on his arms, his face only a couple inches from Todd’s. As he was trying to work up the courage to close the distance, Todd took him by surprise and grabbed him by the hair, crashing their lips together.

Neil got up on his knees and brought Todd with him, their lips never leaving each other as they pressed their bodies against each other. Neil could feel Todd against his hip which only made more of his blood head south and a moan to leave his mouth. Todd took the initiative to rub himself against Neil. He just kept taking the darker haired boy off- guard. Who would have thought that shy, quiet Todd would be so forward in bed? Not that Neil was complaining, he earnestly complied with grinds of his own.

            “Lights out!”

The boys instantly flew from each other, Neil almost falling off of the bed before Todd grabbed him and steadied him. They both sat there for a few seconds trying to calm their pounding hearts before Neil was able to get up and walk over to flip off the light switch.

He walked back to his bed and sat down before hearing, “What are you doing?”

“Oh, I uh, didn’t know if you wanted to keep going…” He said, squinting his eyes to try to see Todd in the dark. Instead of a reply, he felt himself being pushed back onto his bed and his lips be attacked. Neil couldn’t wait to see how else Todd might surprise him.
