As we age the bones of our face flatten and we lose volume in our cheeks which help to ‘hold up’ the jawline. As a result you may notice the gradual sagging of the face which leads to drooping corners of the mouth. Drooping corners can make you look sad and angry too. As with this patient, the best way to treat the drooping corners is to replace cheek volume very subtly with dermal fillers to lift the jawline.

The redness in the immediately post filler photo is realistic. These are UN RETOUCHED photos to show you the actual results. Dr. Shelton never photoshops his photos. Note the softening of the smile folds and the turned up corners of the mouth from injecting the marionette folds. No longer does she look sad. Also note the less prominent jowls hanging over the jawline as the filler was injected between the chin and jowl. The redness is gone usually in hours to a day.
