atsumu loves the beach. he loves being in the sun and the water and playing beach volleyball (though he hasnt quite figured it out yet).

sakusa hates the beach. he isnt a fan of the water and what it does to his hair, he hates sand in his hair, and he burns easily.

it takes a world of convincing from atsumu to get sakusa out from his bubble of shade from umbrellas and a massive hat, including a promise to take care of his burns that sakusa insists he will have later.

its totally worth it to both of them though, even when sakusa comes out of the ocean with his entire back already turning red
