"Remy should've written dark romance book instead of supernatural/adventure/drama inspired by real-life cultures. Maybe something like dark mafia romance or supernatural romance would suit her better. She's good at writing romantic scenes but I can't trust her when it comes to the plot. She retcons almost everything on the fly so it's hard for me to understand her stories sometimes. Like how come Amen could go 1v1 with Set even if he didn't knew he's a god?"
