Random stuff about my stardew oc Sage
Somehow dropped out of college twice then quit his first job after only three months. King of giving the fuck up. If the vibes are off he WILL just leave.
Had one conversation with Alex and immediately decided to marry him. Like. Not even “oh this guy is cute” it went straight to “this is my husband. I need a detailed plan on how to make his grandparents like me immediately.”
Never once considered that Alex could be straight. Like if genuinely didn’t cross his mind that the guy he likes might not like him back. He was too busy being worried about impressing Evelyn and George.
Calls everyone ‘babygirl’ but only when he’s disappointed in them. Clint hears ‘babygirl, you need therapy’ a lot.
Scared to death of Emily, genuinely thinks she might be an alien.
Calls the Wizard “Ras”
The Wizard has teleported Sage out of his tower SEVERAL TIMES because he just lays on the floor and complains about community center bundles because he is the only one who knows wtf is going on.
Spends WAY too much time fishing. He doesn’t even LIKE fishing that much its just the only way he can keep himself out of debt for the first year on the farm
Is only even here out of spite, his parents told him to sell the farm cause he’d never be able to commit to such a big responsibility. He’s now committed himself to never answering their letters no matter how much cake and money they send.

very self indulgent but i keep thinking about this scenario and its so silly, may i request a reader who's been somehow isekai'd (basically transported) into stardew and is proper down bad (or in other words; a massive crush) for magnus?
I have to say, I've never been a fan of isekai (not that I don't like it, I've just never been interested in that genre). But it turned out to be a lot of fun to write about this situation. I hope it didn't come out too mixed, it's just my first time writing stories in this genre. Thank you so much for the ask, anon! 😊💕
_________________________________________
You wake up on the grass near some strange bus stop. No one is around, your head is spinning, and you can't remember what happened. Here you were walking home from a boring job late at night to have dinner, go to bed in your small apartment alone and go to work again and so on until retirement. Suddenly - it's all gone dark and now you're standing outside the bus stop.
Hello, anybody here?
"Oh, you must be [Y/n]!" Finally, at least there's someone around, it's getting lonely and- Wait, how does that red-haired woman know your name?
"I'm Robin, local carpenter. Our mayor asked me to meet you and escort you to your new home!"
New what? Alas, before you could even say anything, the mysterious woman took you to an old ruin that she apparently called "your home".
"Ah, our new farmer!" And who's that old fart? Wha- what farmer?
"Nice to meet you! I'm Lewis, the mayor. Your Grandpa probably have told you about your farm back then".
But I don't... Grandpa's farm? You tried to say something, but you were interrupted again.
"Here's your new home! There is a shipping bin nearby, you can sell your farm products. Welcome and go ahead - get to know your new community!" As you stand there in shock, both strangers walk away.
What the fuck, you thought. Why does everyone think I'm the new farmer? And why did those two bring me to an old house with no furniture except a bed and a TV on the floor? No kitchen? And no toilet??? What the hell do you mean parsnip seeds?! Am I supposed to clear this whole farm of rocks and bushes with a rusty pickaxe and a flooded scythe???
You decide not to panic and play up the situation a bit to figure out where you are and how you can get back home, because the whole thing is a huge misunderstanding. At the same time ask around to the locals, what is this area? Stardew Valley? Huh...
"Playing along with the situation" became a bit more difficult, because you had to really learn the basics of growing crops, the local fisherman gave you an old fishing rod for some damn reason, and then on the fifth day of this hell you have no money left even for food and have to pick berries in the forest (wow, what a life!). After entering the Community Centre and getting to know the "apples" creatures you already doubt your own sanity.
The next day you get an mail from.... Ras-mo-di-us? Ok, weird. Asking you to come to his "magic tower". What this locals are smoking in here is a mystery of the universe, definitely. Anyway, you have no choice but to head to that very tower.
Flowers all around, the whole room is foggy, it smells weird, and it's also hot - it looks like some kind of drug den... So where's the weirdo?
"I've been waiting for you, young [Y/n]."
Oh, no, he's hot.
You wanted to slap your head. You're lost, you don't know what's going on or where you are, you're cursing all this farm work, the locals are weird, and this is some suspicious-looking bloke, and your first thought is "oh no, he's hot"? There's definitely some weird drugs in the air...
Look, you tried to keep your voice as calm as possible, I don't think I'm from this universe.
"I know, young fool". The fuck, what now? Well, bring me back!
"Alas, I don't have that kind of magic yet, it takes time and rare resources. For now.... You should be what the people of Pelican Town think you are."
Oh, that's just fantastic!
Running after the crows that ruined your crops, pulling an old can of local cola out of a fishing rod hook, walking with tired hands after cutting down some trees, screaming in the Mines, escaping from slimes and bats, making ingots for necessary machines until night.... And you've got some kind of magic now. A quiet country life, nothing fancy.
Then there's that annoying supermarket, which reminds you painfully of that boring old office job....
Although, the locals here are mostly friendly.... They see that you're uncomfortable in your new community and try to make you feel at home. You really appreciated it, and tried your best for them in return by listening to their stories or giving those leftovers of a successful harvest. Your skills grew, you had already made friends with everyone in the Valley, and even kicked that stupid Joja company out of town. Little funny Junimos, hee-hee!
In particular you became close to Magnus (Rasmodius' first name). Even though it was hard for you to still believe in magic, but his talk about parallel worlds, his fascination with magical plants, his talking, his laugh, his looks (dilf material, oh my!), his kind heart and his pride in new spells and magical protection of the Valley from monsters.... You fell in love with him.
And after some conflicting thoughts about whether you're allowed to fall in love with anyone here if this isn't your world? But you have long been part of this world, part of this cosy and friendly community, part of this incredible and magical world.
All dreamy thoughts were gone when Magnus announced to you in a ringing voice that he'd found a way to get you home.
Home?, you repeated. But I'm already home.
And you just kissed Magnus, the die is cast. If he refuses, if he turns his back on you, it'll be hard for you to bear. But Magnus, oddly enough, returned the kiss.
"Then... The choice is made. I was afraid that... I fell in love with you as well, and that you would have to leave forever. But now... Now..."
He didn't have time to finish, because you kissed him again, more passionately this time.
Insert subtitles, ladies and gentlemen, for here is the happy ending.

YOU DIDNT REBLOG IT BUT FUCK YOU !!!!!!!!!
3, 4, 18, 29, 31
FOR KEIHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AUGH WHAT THE HELL THATS ILLEGAL!!! BUT FINE I WILL TALK ABOUT KEIHO FUCK YOU!!!! heres the question list for anyone curious
for those wondering Keiho is my FFXIV Au Ra character who i love dearly :3
(hes usually more happy i just like this doodle jskdnf)
putting the actual response under read more because man it got long ^_^
also in the game i just finished stormblood so this guys story is still ongoing for me dkjfng (theres 3 more expansion packs, as of right now, for me to do)
okay hi to anyone reading this o/
3. weapon of choice? any particular reason they chose their weapon?Keihos current weapon of choice is a lance! Being a lancer/dragoon class so big pointy stick sdjkdnsf.
The lore reason for Keiho going that route when becoming an adventurer i feel is mainly.. he was most used to holding lance like weapons and tools and felt it was the most comfortable way for him to get his journey started.
While the main stuff for his backstory before the beginning of the game is still kinda cooking for me, i do think he came from a smaller village kinda away from everything so they didn't have a lot of fancy resources to go around for a ton of swords or anything so the main weapons for hunting were lances. But he most likely did some spear fishing and stuff with it as well and is used to farm tools like pitchforks and hoes and stuff so again more used to lance like tools than anything else! But maybe he'll change that in the future and try different weapons now that he's got the adventure ball going!
(the none lore reason is i just liked the lance class the most and i havent bothered to try out any other class right now)
4. how crafty/resourceful are they?
i'd say they get by well enough! He's not some mastermind who's going to outsmart and trap supervillains left and right....and he definitely has his dumb moments. But he has his cleaver moments as well, def can sneak by, deceive and ambush pretty well against other regular, non super genius, folk. And can contribute in plannings if needed for battles and such.
But i do feel his resourcefulness comes out best in survival situations, he knows how to navigate the wilderness pretty well, knows how to hunt and make the most of food to make it last as long as possible and overall just knows how to get out and not die when dropped in the middle of the woods. Or build a sort of camp/housing if for whatever reason he wants to stay out there longer.
So not really some trap guy and not going to pull some crazy stunts during fights but can survive solo out in the wilderness pretty okay.
With this he is pretty lost in big cities on the other hand sjhbdnfds (me making a lore reason to explain why im always lost in limsa lominsa B) )
18. their opinion on lying, stealing, and killing?
HMMMM now this is a rather nuanced answer considering... he is the warrior of light...Hero of Eorzea etc etc... so he has his actual beliefs, the thing he preaches as a warrior people look up to and the things he believes as a warrior whos seen some of the worst the world has to offer.
Overall he fights for a world where people dont have a need to lie, steal or kill and if pressured for a black and white answer he'd say those things are bad. BUT he gets why certain people dont have any other option besides lying or stealing or even killing and doing any of those things for a valid reason isn't going to lower Keihos opinion of someone even by a bit. No "there must've been another way" or "you should've toughed it out" nope he gets that sometimes... you just gotta do what you gotta do. If anything it just makes Keiho more motivated to be a good hero seeing what someone was pushed to do just to get by. So overall he looks at each case rather individually... after all he as a hero has done all of those things for the greater good so it be rather hypocritical of him sdjkfndjsk
He also gets that while some people have a valid reason...it isn't always a good reason to do sth like killing so again... just focuses on getting as much info and then makes a choice.
If anyone tries to ask what his opinion on white lies are he just completely avoids the topic saying sth like "arent there more pressing matters" he just really doesn't have the time to form opinions on whether white lies make someone inherently evil or good skjndf
29. are they associated with any particular element (air, earth, fire, water)?
Hmm personally i haven't really put a lot of thought into what element Keiho could be sdjknf BUT in game he does have the title of "Warrior of light" so i guess i tend to associate him with light, and Keiho being a Raen Au Ra (that just meaning he has light scales instead of dark scales like the Xaela Au Ra) who believe they are descendants of Dawn Father just makes the light connection more strong huh xD
And i guess i do tend to link him with crystals due to his scales reminding me of that and him having several interactions and a blessing from the Mothercrystal goddess
so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ personally haven't thought about it but theres some building blocks there from the game
31. do they like receiving gifts? giving gifts? what is their ideal gift?
Oh you chose this one specifically after that loredump i did on you huh
Okay lets take these one by one, receiving gift
Maybe back before their adventure days he would've like the occasional gift, never really liked anything to extravagant because ough you didn't need to, but small stuff like food or something handmade or some random material he needed, perfect. But after he became a hero and with every title he just.... stopped enjoying it, at some points just despises gifts all together, but not in the " i receive them so much" or the "i'm too good for these gifts" but more in the "hey i dont need nor deserve this :(( keep it to yourself you need it more :( " way. Along the way tho he also develops a weird "if i say no to a gift i'm being incredibly rude" mentality so that's when he gets super weird with gifts and wants to say "no, they dont need to go through all the effort for a gift for lil ol' me" but also the voice in the back being like if you refuse you're being rude!! so he just... puts on his hero persona and accepts it with grace.. so no one even really knows what kind of turmoil a simple loaf of bread just caused him dhsgfjukd and its quite literally nearly impossible to pry an answer out of him if you ever asked what he'd like for a gift, because the idea of requesting anything?!?!?! is just too much and he avoids the topic like the plague. quite literally need to corner him for a WHILE to get any sort of vague answer
my boy is stable :)
Giving gifts
He most likely won't have any sort of weird relationship with giving gifts but i honestly dont think he gifts a lot, he's more of a i'll walk to the ends of the earth for you kinda guy to his loved ones. But the most something like a gift i feel is he'll make food occasionally without being asked or he might pick up something from stores or similar places if someone mentioned it. If he was still just a civilian he'd make some crafts here and there as well (woodwork, jewellery etc etc). But with being a hero he most likely doesn't have a lot of time or energy for those sorts of things, and most likely mentally he isn't really in a stable place rn to be doing anything like that either way, but in the future when his mentality regarding being a hero improves he'll def be making some handcrafted stuff for his friends!
Ideal gift
This is a tough one considering all the above about him not even really wanting gifts sjkdlnmfk but
Before the adventure days, it probably would've been something really simple, like some tasty food or some rare material for personal projects or even just something handcrafted! something to show the other cared enough to really think what he'd like kinda thing
And that mentality does stay a bit for post adventurer keiho! He'd avoid the topic but honestly... getting anything non adventure related, just for keiho to have after all the adventure gear has been put away for the day like again some good food or a nice shirt or just...anything again to show that they care about keiho the guy and not keiho the adventurer who probably needs new chainmail under his armour. He gets something from the heart and he is going to cry guranteed
Anddd with that i have finally finished responding to this jksbdnfjhks
if anyone made it this far congrats! you get a bonus keiho
#okay this got long sjkdnfjhdns#dont get too attached to him tho...while i draw him a lot i just cant be bothered to post about him so..#first time posting about keiho outside of dms... man what an entrance xDD#just a glimpse into my dark and twisted muhahah#anyway#oc#keiho yatsurugi#ask game#sly rambles#void art#might as well#for the...art#ya know#ffxiv

after 820 hours of work, my island, though not what I would call "finished," is at least ready to share!! come visit FogHill anytime at DA-5087-3742-9665!
Fog Hill is a quaint rural community based very loosely on areas in my home state of Michigan! There's a bnb with a pool, a seaside flea & farmers market, rooftop KK viewing cafe, a 50s themed ice cream diner, a riverwalk, a drive-in theater, community gardens, a fishing village, and even a cemetery!
In the northwest corner of the map, you'll find a tiny Mackinaw bridge (best viewed from the cliff by the museum with your first person camera). The northeast contains my own house as well as an attempt to invoke the dune habitats of west Michigan. just south of my house is a boardwalk "hiking" trail, several campsites, and Gonzo's orchard farm.
Several interiors are also completed or near done: My house (4/5 rooms), Muffy, Pango, and Gonzo. My island will also have a dispensary at some point but I need more whistloids!!! if anyone wants to trade I'll give you any amount of any other gyroid I have in exchange!
Here's a preview from HHP (and if you'd like to visit either my dispo or the Hot Topic I built for Happy Home Network, find me there @ RA-1470-4924-4564 !)
Enjoy, and if you take any good pictures or witness any villager drama you'd like to share while visiting, please do feel free to tag me here or on Twitter (@_picklejar)!

مستقبل تربية الأحياء المائية: تربية الأسماك بطريقة مستدامة 🌊🐟
Aquaculture, or fish farming, is one of the most promising sectors in modern agriculture. As the global demand for fish and seafood continues to rise, fish farming presents a sustainable solution to meet this growing need while preserving natural aquatic ecosystems.
In particular, aquaculture systems such as Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) have revolutionized the industry by ensuring fish are farmed in a controlled, eco-friendly environment. With RAS, fish can be raised in clean, filtered water, significantly reducing water usage and waste.
The potential for growth in fish farming is enormous, and it offers countless investment opportunities for entrepreneurs looking to tap into the seafood market. Whether it's for local consumption or export, starting a fish farm can provide a steady source of income while contributing to sustainable food production.
With the right planning, techniques, and a detailed feasibility study, you can take part in this growing industry. Interested in knowing more? Explore how you can get started with your own fish farm and learn about successful projects in the industry through expert advice and guidance. 🌱🌊

5 Short Weekend Trips from Dubai
People living in Dubai would know how overwhelming the city can become. After all, being one of the most popular holiday destinations as well as a city with numerous attractions, it can be crowded and chaotic. In such a situation, as a citizen or resident of Dubai, it is natural to feel the need to take a break. The best part is that you do not need to travel far to another interesting place. Dubai is surrounded by some exciting places which you can easily visit during a regular or long weekend. While most can be reached by road, you may have to take a flight for a few of them, although the duration is not more than 30 minutes. With this note, let us look at the 5 bestweekend trips from Dubai.
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Abu Dhabi is known for its cultural attractions, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (the largest mosque in the UAE) being the most popular. Qasr Al Qatan, or the Presidential Palace and the Heritage Village, are also worth visiting, which are usually a part of most Abu Dhabi city tour. The city has an island dedicated to cultural attractions, with Louvre Abu Dhabi the star attraction of the place. The city also has an entertainment island, Yas Island, which is filled with theme parks. Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, Yas Water Park, etc., are the best attractions to visit in Abu Dhabi. Apart from all this, the Abu Dhabi Corniche is a beachfront location you must visit here.
Duration: 1.5 hours by road
Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
Ras Al Khaimah, or RAK, is the northernmost emirate of the UAE and a place known for its rugged mountains and beautiful beaches. This emirate is home to the tallest mountain in the country, Jebel Jais. Adventure lovers should visit Jebel Jais, as the place is teeming with adventurous activities. Ziplining is the best activity here, as Jebel Jais has the world’s longest zipline. Jais Sky Tour, Jais Sledder, and Jais Ropes Course are the other things you must try. Cruising is one of the best things to do in Musandam Dibba, giving you the chance to enjoy its natural beauty, especially the sight of the mighty Hajjar Mountains. You can also enjoy swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, banana boat riding, and handline fishing while cruising on the emerald-green waters of Dibba.

Whether you're visiting for a short period or want to see more of the country beyond the capital, plenty of Oman day trips allow you to discover scenic landscapes, historical sites, and authentic local experiences all in one day.
This guide will explore Oman's best day trips, starting from Muscat. These carefully curated excursions highlight the country's diverse attractions, from its majestic mountains to its serene coastline.

Wadi Shab is one of the most popular destinations for a day trip from Muscat. A 90-minute drive from the city, Wadi Shab is a natural oasis with crystal-clear pools, steep canyons, and hidden caves. Whether you love hiking or swimming, this trip offers the perfect combination.
On a typical Muscat sharing tour to Wadi Shab, you'll trek through rocky paths, take a refreshing dip in the turquoise water, and explore the stunning surroundings. Many tours also include a stop at the nearby Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural swimming spot that adds another highlight to your day.
Nizwa Fort and Jebel Akhdar
A trip to Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar is ideal for those interested in Oman's rich history and stunning mountain views. Nizwa, once the capital of Oman, is famous for its 17th-century fort and bustling souq. You'll explore the region's history, admire ancient architecture, and shop for traditional Omani crafts.

Different aquaculture methods that promote sustainable fisheries
Aquaculture, also known as fish farming, is the practice of breeding, rearing, and harvesting fish, shellfish, and aquatic plants in controlled environments such as ponds, rivers, lakes, and oceans. This industry plays a significant role in supplementing the fisheries sector in several ways, according to reputed fresh tuna suppliers in the region:
Sustainable Production: Aquaculture helps reduce pressure on wild fish populations by providing an alternative source of seafood for fish processing companies. As global demand for fish continues to rise, aquaculture can help meet this demand sustainably.
Resource Efficiency: Fish farming can be more efficient than traditional fishing methods, as it allows for controlled feeding, breeding, and harvesting. This can lead to higher yields for seafood processing companies and more consistent quality.
Economic Benefits: Aquaculture contributes to local economies by creating jobs in farming, processing, and distribution. It can also boost local communities by providing a stable source of income.
Biodiversity Conservation: By alleviating the pressure on overfished species, aquaculture can help maintain biodiversity in marine ecosystems. Some aquaculture practices also promote the conservation of certain species through breeding programs.
Food Security: As a source of protein, aquaculture can improve food security, especially in regions where fish is a primary dietary component. It provides a reliable and accessible food source for communities.
Innovation and Research: The aquaculture industry is often at the forefront of research and innovation, leading to advancements in breeding techniques, disease management, and environmental sustainability practices.
According to the best exotic fish exporters of the world, aquaculture complements traditional fisheries by ensuring a stable supply of seafood while promoting sustainable practices and economic development.
Different aquaculture methods that promote sustainable fisheries
Several aquaculture methods promote sustainable fisheries by minimising environmental impact, conserving resources, and enhancing fish health. Here are some key approaches:
Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA): This method involves cultivating multiple species from different trophic levels in the same system. For example, fish, shellfish, and seaweed can be farmed together, where waste from one species provides nutrients for another. This promotes nutrient cycling and reduces the need for artificial feed.
Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS): RAS utilises a closed-loop system where water is continuously recycled, filtered, and reused. This method significantly reduces water usage and minimises effluent discharge, making it suitable for areas with limited water resources. It also allows for better control over environmental conditions, leading to healthier fish.
Aquaponics: Combining aquaculture with hydroponics (growing plants without soil), aquaponics creates a symbiotic environment. Fish waste provides nutrients for plants, while plants help filter and purify the water for fish. This method maximises resource efficiency and can be practised in urban settings.
Polyculture: This method involves farming multiple species together in the same environment, such as fish and shellfish or different fish species. Polyculture can enhance biodiversity, reduce disease outbreaks, and improve overall system resilience.
Selective Breeding: Focusing on breeding fish that are more resilient, faster-growing, and require less feed can enhance sustainability. Selective breeding can lead to more efficient farming practices and reduce reliance on wild fish for feed.
Organic Aquaculture: Organic standards restrict the use of synthetic chemicals, antibiotics, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Organic aquaculture emphasises natural feeds and sustainable practices, promoting environmentally friendly methods and improving fish health.
Sustainable Feed Development: Research is ongoing to develop sustainable fish feeds that reduce reliance on wild fishmeal and fish oil. Alternatives include plant-based feeds, insect protein, and byproducts from agricultural processing, which can lower the ecological footprint of aquaculture.
Restoration Aquaculture: This method involves breeding and releasing native species to restore depleted populations in the wild. It can help conserve biodiversity and promote ecosystem health, particularly for species that have been overfished.
Offshore Aquaculture: Farming fish in open ocean environments reduces competition for coastal space and minimises environmental impact on fragile ecosystems. Offshore aquaculture can provide more natural conditions for fish while reducing risks associated with disease and parasites.
By employing these sustainable aquaculture methods, the industry can contribute to healthier marine ecosystems, reduce overfishing pressures, and support global food security.
Why sustainable fisheries are important
Sustainable fisheries are vital for several reasons, each contributing to ecological health, economic stability, and social well-being:
Conservation of Marine Ecosystems: Sustainable fisheries practices help protect biodiversity and maintain the balance of marine ecosystems. Overfishing and destructive fishing methods can lead to habitat degradation and the collapse of fish populations, disrupting the entire marine food web.
Food Security: Fish is a crucial source of protein and essential nutrients for billions of people worldwide. Sustainable fisheries ensure a reliable supply of seafood, helping to meet the nutritional needs of growing populations while reducing reliance on unsustainable fishing practices.
Economic Stability: Many communities depend on fishing for their livelihoods. Sustainable fisheries support local economies by providing jobs in fishing, processing, and related industries. This stability is crucial for coastal communities and economies that rely heavily on marine resources.
Cultural Significance: Fishing often plays an important role in the cultural heritage and traditions of many communities. Sustainable fisheries help preserve these traditions while ensuring that future generations can continue to engage in fishing practices that are both culturally and environmentally responsible.
Resilience to Climate Change: Healthy fish populations and ecosystems are better equipped to withstand the impacts of climate change, such as ocean warming and acidification. Sustainable fisheries practices can enhance the resilience of marine ecosystems and help mitigate the effects of these changes.
Reduction of Bycatch and Habitat Damage: Sustainable fishing methods aim to minimise bycatch (the unintended capture of non-target species) and reduce damage to marine habitats. This helps preserve species diversity and maintain healthy ecosystems, contributing to long-term fishery productivity.
Compliance with Regulations: Sustainable fisheries promote adherence to environmental regulations and guidelines, ensuring that fish stocks are managed responsibly. This fosters a more ethical fishing industry and encourages sustainable practices among fishermen.
Global Cooperation: Sustainable fisheries management often requires collaboration among countries, organisations, and stakeholders. This cooperation can lead to better governance, shared best practices, and the development of international standards for responsible fishing.
Long-term Productivity: By focusing on sustainability, fisheries can maintain productive fish stocks over the long term. This approach ensures that fishing can continue as a viable industry without compromising the health of marine resources.
Sustainable fisheries are essential for protecting marine ecosystems, ensuring food security, supporting economic livelihoods, and fostering resilient communities in the face of environmental challenges.
