A little shocked I have to say this but please don't feed my work, my writing or my art, to any AI for generative purposes or otherwise. Generative AI is theft, and innocent intentions are not an excuse. I'm not going to explain why generative AI is bad, many artists and writers have already done that much more eloquently than I ever could. Do your own research. I work professionally in art and have been deeply personally impacted by AI, and seeing AI versions of my characters is deeply upsetting.

So I made I thing! There are so many awesome artists in this community and for a little while I've wanted to create a collaborative project that would let artists work together in a fun, low-pressure way. I originally wanted to create a colouring book fanzine for the DCA (i may yet do this), but making a blog that would let artists share line-art to color was a much easier way to start! Honestly a colouring book feels very on-brand for this fandom and I hope you will be as excited as me to take part creating and colouring line art for the DCA! There are no line-arts added yet but I wanted to let you know that submissions are open <3 I hope to add my own line art to the blog soon :)

Welcome to the ☆ Superstar Coloring Book ☆ 

In this blog you will find lovely line art by members of the DCA community who have donated their work ready to be colored in by other artists! Our aim is to create an easy and fun way for artists in our community to collaborate together! 

Line-art can be found using the #line-art tag and you can browse people’s final colored submissions under #colored-art 

We are a small blog in collaboration with The DCA Palooza.

To get involved you can add a post to the coloring book via the ‘Submit a Page’ section of this blog. Please familiarize yourself with our guidelines before you make a submission:

GUIDELINES:Line-Art Submissions should:

be no smaller than 1000px on the shortest edge

be clean and ready to be colored 

stay SFW (a little spice is fine)

include an Image ID (highly encouraged)

be your own work 

Color Submissions should:

be based off of an existing piece of line-art from the blog

tag the original line artist in the description

fully preserve any signature included in the original work
