adam lambert and queen is one of the best examples of honoring the legacy of a musician who has passed while allowing the living band members to continue to do what they love best. and if you haven’t checked out adam’s original work, you are missing out!! not only is he infinitely talented, he is a success story after first being blacklisted in hollywood for being openly gay in 2009.

I feel so lucky to have been able to see Queen + Adam Lambert as my first concert on October 18th in Philadelphia for the 2023 Rhapsody Tour. The whole show was amazing, and I really loved this moment during Brian's guitar solo when colorful planets descended from the ceiling. The atmosphere created by his playing and the visuals was quiet, beautiful, and even somewhat--lonely? I don't know how to describe it, but it was a highlight of the show for me, and I just had to draw this photo posted here to tumblr by riaaanna.
