been thinking lots lately about how i don't know nothing about anything. it's mostly because people keep talking to me about english literature classics and i gotta be like yeah! that lady uhh emily rocks! never picked up a book of hers in my life. anything i know about dickens comes from the muppets—and i've never watched any of their movies. i haven't watched shit either it's not just books. not mission impossible not star trek not lotr not the matrix etc. my one bond film is skyfall and i watched it once in theaters. i cannot stress enough how alienated i am from the anglophone zeitgeist and you know what's the worst thing? I don't know shit in spanish either!
