When the BJP-led NDA came to power in 1998, the government of India's human resource development minister Dr. Murali Manohar Joshi included 'Priesthood and Ritualism' into school curriculum. During his time, astrology began to be taught instead of science-based astronomy. Learning how to perform the Putrakameshthi Yajna, a (Vedic) ritual to get a male child was also introduced. They are inculcating unfounded beliefs and foolishness into children's minds. Recalling Golwalkar's call for involvement in RSS activities to be essentially devoid of any critical thinking and discernment, once they are in power, they have set about implementing this in children's education. Recently, CBSE has removed several topics from their syllabus. Of these, topics such as democracy and diversity, impact of globalization on agriculture, popular (mass), movements and communalism were removed from the Class 10 syllabus. It is for this kind of school curriculum excisions that the RSS has nurtured one of its offsprings, the 'Shiksha Sanskriti Uttahn Nyas. It has consistently been pressurizing NCERT to remove from textbooks, allusions to 'the former prime minister Manmohan Singh's magnanimous apology for the Sikh riots', and the 'killing of around two thousand Muslims in the 2002 Gujarat riots'. This is their chicanery.

Raja Dasharatha – Story Of Lord Ram’s Birth
Dasharatha was the father of Lord Rama. Dasharatha ruled the kingdom of Ayodhya and was a righteous and just ruler. He had three wives, Kausalya, Sumitra, and Kaikeyi, but was unable to have children. King Dashratha sought advice from Sage Vashistha who recommended him to perform a Putrakameshthi Yagya. Following the advice of Sage Vashishta, King Dashratha performed the Yagya. Rishishringa Muni was the chief priest of the yagya performed by King Dasharatha.
Putrakameshti Yajna is a specific type of yajna performed to fulfil the desire of having a child. (Book now!)
In the yagya, the priests offered various sacred materials and herbs, into the sacrificial fire while chanting Rigveda’s Purusha. The ceremony was performed with great devotion and austerity, and Agnideva appeared before Dasharatha and gave him a bowl of sweet rice pudding to be divided among his wives.
Kausalya, Sumitra, and Kaikeyi each consumed a portion of the pudding, after which they became pregnant and gave birth to Rama, Lakshmana, Shatrughna, and Bharata, respectively.

Putrakameshti or Putrakameshti Yagya is performed by Dasaratha in the Ramayana. Due to this, Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata and Shatrughna are born to the pious couple.
Putrakameshti Yajna is a special Yajna performed in the Sanatana Dharma for the birth of a son. It is a kamya-karma. In the Ramayana, Vashishta Maharshi says that Dasaratha Maharaja performed this sacrifice under the auspices of Rishyasringa Muni. In it is the circumcision of this yajna. After the Yajna, the god of fire appears and gives Dasaratha Maharaja the role of a potion. The money in that role was distributed to his three wives and they were born to Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata and Shatrughna.

Destiny of Putrakameshthi
Narada Maharshi visited Valmiki Ashram. He made all contact with Valmi. He then asked, "Maharshi! Who is the greatest hero in the world? Is there such a person? If so, please explain about him. "No one nodded thinly in reply." This is my plea, Lord! Bless you. '' He joined hands and bowed to Valmi. Narada understood his heartache. As the saying goes, "There is no such thing as a supreme being. His name is Sri Ramachandra. What is Ayodhya doing? '' Then he explained the Ramakatha as Sangra Hanga and left Akkannunchi. Valmiki repeatedly memorized the Ramakatha told by Narada. Awesome, amazing. Then the disciple Bhardwaj came. The two went out to bathe. Approached Tamasana. On the way, Valmiki noticed a pair of crows on a tree. Are very hilarious. Premo are behaving faithfully. Then an arrow came and knocked down the male in the pair. The male lost his life and fell from the tree. The female cried when she saw it. Chusha dadi valmiki.jalito chalinchipoyadatanu. Awe was born. That sensation was furious. He turned his head and looked. Boa was seen coming running for a bird that crashed to the ground with his arrow. Cursing like this with blood eyes. " You're a disgrace for a long time because you killed one of these loving couple birds. '' Muni feared the curse. The older sister ran away. Seeing Boani fleeing in fear, Valmiki nodded. Felt sorry. Calmed down. Madhanapaddadu. What happened to him? Why behave? Thought. Then he cursed. With a coherence of words, with two syllables, Valmiki poured himself into the words of the hymn. It was in that state of mind that he finished bathing, including the disciple, and proceeded to the ashram. Where he sat in silence. Closed his eyes. Alo was upset about what had happened. Eyes opened. The creator, the four-faced Sakshattu Brahma. To be realized. He came with gods and sages. He put his arms around him and bowed to Valmiki. "Valmiki! Do not commit a sin like yours. Very nicely done. Enjoy the nice done. At my command, the voice entered your speech. The result is the speech you uttered with grief, in the form of a hymn. '' Said Brahma. Yes! Valmiki was astonished as if he had heard all this. It becomes worldly. It will flourish for generations to come. "Valmiki was overjoyed." Not so beautiful, the epic you have written with my blessings will spread throughout this universe and flourish as long as the mountains, oceans, sun and moon. You too will be glorified, including your poetry. Then we will decorate the world. '' Said Brahma. '' God's grace, '' he said to Valmiki. Brahma, including the sages and gods, became invisible. Enjoying the Brahmopadesa and the command, Valmiki prepared to write the Ramakatha. Meditated. Throughout Ramakatha the toy was tied to his eyes.
