The Saginaw mural -

This is the western facing side of the mural officially known as Shine Bright Saginaw Mural Project. You can Google Saginaw mural for much info and ‘before pics’

Designed by world renowned muralist Okuda San Miguel and painted by him and others.

I first posted the progress on this side on June 10 here and wanted to get more shots now that it is complete. Many people stop by now and photograph both sides of the mural.

The first picture posted above starts at the far north end and the next is farther south, and the last is more south yet.

These were taken yesterday afternoon. Today would have been better lighting but I thought it would have been raining by now. Second largest mural in the United States.

Love the vibe that this filter gives off for these photos. It is like looking through a different lens, something we could not see just in plain view.

When I view these photos, it brings me some nostalgia, the history of my nature excursions, what got me here, why I am here. Idk, just something beautiful about it. But that's just me.

I got to spend the weekend

with family in northern Michigan, visiting orchards and wineries and enjoying the spectacular show nature is putting on there. The colors of the trees are mesmerizing, I have never seen anything like it in person, and we had cloudy skies. But it is also nice to be back home. We are expecting our first signs of frost tonight, so I hope that more bird activity is upon us. Have a beautiful Sunday evening!

Happy ? Saturday-

I was tagged by @azkeldan and @findingforest51 for a flex shot. How’s this one? 💪

Between messing with clearing the driveway and a wood stove and HVAC guys, this is all I have time for. I got most everything back on track and maybe I will get time to get to a grocery store finally.

As you can see, it’s snowing again and I am not sure how much we are due to get. I woke up too late to see the news because I was too wound up to sleep last night. 😩
