Did a trip to Zilwaukee Mi -

Thought I would do a river check. The ice looks pretty solid but I am not sure how it is out in the middle.

I did not see any ice fishing shanties now any holes in the ice. We have had a few real warm days recently, maybe that is why. It turned very cold again last night. It is now at 22F degrees (-6C).

I wish spring would hurry up. I got spoiled by those couple of nice days.

Love the vibe that this filter gives off for these photos. It is like looking through a different lens, something we could not see just in plain view.

When I view these photos, it brings me some nostalgia, the history of my nature excursions, what got me here, why I am here. Idk, just something beautiful about it. But that's just me.

The Saginaw mural -

This is the western facing side of the mural officially known as Shine Bright Saginaw Mural Project. You can Google Saginaw mural for much info and ‘before pics’

Designed by world renowned muralist Okuda San Miguel and painted by him and others.

I first posted the progress on this side on June 10 here and wanted to get more shots now that it is complete. Many people stop by now and photograph both sides of the mural.

The first picture posted above starts at the far north end and the next is farther south, and the last is more south yet.

These were taken yesterday afternoon. Today would have been better lighting but I thought it would have been raining by now. Second largest mural in the United States.
