What’s your favorite paw patrol episode? Mine is all paws on deck!! I love seeing all the pups!
Oh, that's easy; season 2's "Pups Leave Marshall Home Alone"!

There are plenty of reasons why I love this one; for starters, I feel it's a turning point for Marshall. Before this one aired, I feel the franchise didn't exactly take him too seriously. But once he proved he could be relied on, even when he's by himself (in terms of not being assisted by the other pups), and he could even adapt to the situation by using another pups' pup pack, I felt things changed and it showed just the kind of skills he has. It proved that, while he may be clumsy, when he puts his mind to something, he's truly a forced to be reckoned with.

And while some fans have argued this, I still 100% believe this is the first episode in which we experienced something for the first time in PAW Patrol; genuine character development. Prior to this mission, Marshall was afraid of flying, but when he was forced to use Skye's pup pack to save that kitten, he actually got used to it (still crashed at the end, but that's our Marshall). Cut to a few episodes later, and what did we see Marshall trying? Air surfing. Not because he was forced to, but because he wanted to. He became more open to flying! And from that point on, he was less afraid of Skye's helicopter harness, and as we seen in Air Pups, he fully embraced flying and became rather good at it! And in a show where something like character development is practically non-existent, Marshall got to experience some and actually have it shape the way he behaved for the rest of the TV series! Arguably, we've still yet to see anything like this ever since.

Beyond that, there were just so many cute moments, too; Marshall's tumble while playing Pup Pup Boogie, him having so much fun pretending to be Ryder, his interactions with the kitties, etc. Ah, I could go on and on about how much I love this episode... but this post is already way longer than I intended, so I better wrap it up. lol
So... yeah! I, love, love, love Pups Leave Marshall Home Alone. It's such a great & unique episode, and for me, it's still yet to be topped. :)
